His dog barked in my dogs face and he said my puppy came on too strong. Aggressively ordered me to change seats. I tried being relatable to him and made a comment about his dogs (I had the same when I was younger) and he rolled his eyes and acted like it was the dumbest thing he's ever heard and I was wasting his time. He is very condescending and rude- probably should be nowhere near customer service. Something felt very cold and off about him and I have to go with my gut and keep him away from my dogs! We will not be returning. The establishment itself is well kept and clean. My dogs appeared to have had a great time via Instagram - just wish they had a kinder person working the front desk! Because as horrible as it is there are places out there that mistreat the dogs they are supposed to be taking care of. Also he tried to push his belief in using negative reinforcement for dog training after reading that I only use positive reinforcement. It is, however, very unfortunate that Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek does not see an issue with charging the customer $26.95 for 3 (THREE) Galliprant pain pills. That's almost $9/pill! When I asked to speak to the office manager the next morning, notes were taken and it was explained that it is always cheaper to buy in bulk - no kidding! I explained that I was very unhappy with their price gouging practices and that at this point I am simply appalled and disgusted. I was told that the office manager would get in touch with me. While I haven't heard from the office manager, I did receive a call to confirm our appointment. When I asked for our appointment to be canceled, declined to reschedule, and thanked the young lady for her help, I heard something that sounded like "ok" and then I was hung up on. Considering their unethical business practices, not only did they lose our vet business for two dogs, they lost our boarding business as well and so much more....

Ashley locations…read more I have to be honest, had I seen these reviews before, I'm not so sure I would have gone here, but my niece knew someone who had boarded their dogs here and didn't have a bad experience and we were in a real bind. Here's my story: My planned pet sitter bailed on me with less than a week before my trip, so I needed a quick plan of action and, like I said someone I knew also knew someone who had boarded their dogs at the "Mt. Pleasant location" (not specified which one) and I recalled having been told this was a good place to get a dog groomed as well from someone. (Obviously didn't check my yelp directory first). Contacted the Hwy 17 location, told them of my predicament and they advised me that I needed to bring the dog in for a trial daycare prior to boarding. Mind you, I am calling over the weekend and I will need to bring in my pup on Wednesday afternoon due to an early Thursday morning flight. So, I fill in all the paperwork, bring my dog in Monday, all goes well, blah blah blah, but THEN they tell me they do not have any suites available for the time we will be gone, only kennels (cages). They say I am free to call any other location to see if they have suites available and it will be no problem to switch my reservation. I contact the W. Ashley location and, they say they have room, yes a suite, but, no, I do have to bring my dog in for a trial day care at their location, different dogs, different layout, blah blah blah.... Drop off and pick up here do not go so well. I have to say the people working the front desk at this location are not the brightest I have ever met. No one was expecting me for her drop off, or her pick up, it was a mess! Then, I get a call from Taylor, the manager, who is all confused about what is going on, I explain the situation to her, she finally understands and sorts out the situation. So - kudos to Taylor. She made the best out of a messy situation. Even at dropoff on Wednesday, it just didn't go that smoothly, the "system shows someone in her suite", etc. nothing could go smoothly. At pickup same thing, I had a 10% off first boarding and the young woman didn't know how to take the discount. So, I give them four stars because they really helped me in a bind and my dog was fine when I got home. However, this place clearly needs some work on its staff training.
