Extremely disappointed with lack of communication. I started a watch repair on an antique 1920s watch on 01/17/20 with expedited repair timeframe of 3-6 weeks. I had to call after 6 weeks to determine they were waiting on me for a decision on an extra repair needed. I agreed, and repair time was bumped out. My watch should have been ready just around the time of the SIP shut down and now all numbers are disconnected, all businesses are closed, there isn't a single email address to send an inquiry and I have no way of contacting a single person about having my priceless heirloom watch returned. read more

Richard was seriously so helpful and so kind. I came in with a custom watch that arrived broken--the hands were getting stuck on the face. I went to other places and they had no suggestions or ideas. Richard was on it immediately and started proposing solutions that could work. We ended up replacing the face with a blank from the same model and he executed it beautifully. Great shop, came in for a watch strap that was damaged during a training event. I was able to have it repaired with sturdier piece increasing the longevitiy of my watch. The service was very personable, timley and professional. I go through watch straps quite a bit, his expertise on strap care will help me save money and be able to do my job. I've been patronizing the San Jose location of Watchcare for the past 6+ years mostly for battery replacements but also for a fogging crystal which required him to disassemble a watch. Almost all of the work was handled by Michael and he always provided great service which prompted me to review that location on Yelp. One day I happened to stop by the Campbell location since I was already in the area and was surprised to Michael there. It turns out he had transferred to this location by coincidence. Since all my experiences with him in the past were positive I decided I'd make his store my go-to location instead of the one in San Jose. After watching some videos on YouTube about how to adjust the bracelet on my new watch I thought I'd better not risk it myself. Too many small parts and I didn't want to risk damaging the screws or scratching the bracelet. I called Michael and he informed me that he had worked on these before so I had no qualms bringing it to him. While he was working on my watch, we chatted about various watches since it's a hobby of his and also told me stories of some of the watches that have been brought in for work. He knows quite a bit about the watch industry and is very enthusiastic about it. Go see Michael for friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and professional service. During today's visit he let me know that he was ready to add a new watch to his collection so I wish him luck in whichever model he chooses! Undeniably 5 stars! I dropped my iPhone 3GS and shattered the glass screen about a week ago. The phone itself still worked so I wasn't really in a rush to jump on the next generation. It reeked of smoke in there and the two owners I believe aren't really good at greeting customers. I witnessed three customers enter and the owners waited about 3 minutes to say hi. At the end of the day, they get the job done. But they need to establish a better friendly environment. read more

I was there today, driving all the way from Santa Cruz, upon recommendation from Dell Williams Jewelers. I was met by Michael, the manager there, who didn't know me from Adam, but was friendly and eager to help me out. He took care and diligence to create a proof of authenticity for a Tag Heuer watch. He probably spent a good 30 to 40 minutes, examining and then writing up the report. I fully expected to pay for the effort and in the end, he said "It's on me. Just tell people about us." Whoa!!! That was unbelievable customer service! I would highly, most definitely recommend Watchcare. They actually have great prices for overhauling Swiss movements. They are certified to do most all major brands, like Rolex, Tag Heuer, Omega, etc... My next overhaul is going to be done by them for sure. read more

After today's visit, this definitely is my first choice for any future watch needs! The guy who helped me was super nice, efficient, and thorough. I had one broken pin in my watchband that needed to be replaced, but he also checked the other pin just to be sure it was okay. Sure enough, it was bent also, so he replaced that too--saving me a repeat visit. The whole thing only took 3 minutes and was just $4.99. I was actually looking for a place that replaces KEY FOB BATTERIES. My 2013 Honda key fob stopped working and I was extremely anxious over the potential cost of replacing the entire lock system on my car. Luckily, my S.O. told me that nothing is wrong with the car - the key fob just needs a new battery. WHAT? I had no idea! But, I also had no idea how to replace the battery. I was afraid that I might do something to the coding. I went to Safeway and they just looked at me 0_0.... I was doubly fortunate to have a rather corpulent woman with big hair and big eyes and an attitude unconcerned with the fact that she was eavesdropping on my conversation, say rather boldly that I should go to "the WATCHCARE place up on bascom." Her bossive tone communicated a high degree of confidence in the "WATCHCARE PLACE." So, I went. It was easy enough to find though the map took me to the gas station across the street - the signage was good and I found it. I went in and asked about Key Fobs. The gentleman working the counter responded with an enthusiastic "YES!" and voila!... in a matter of 10 minutes, my concerns were handled and my key fobs were working perfectly.
