Water, Inc is terrible !! Run away fast!!! Installed whole house water filtration and water softener in my house. The "valves" stick open causing extremely large volume of water usage and received 2 $900+ water bills before I hit this company to do ANYTHING about the defective valves! 1.5 yrs after they installed new valves I received a $700 water bill and now no one calling back!! They have one service tech (father/son team) for La Area and he is 100% useless! So Now I have $8000 worth water equipment that has defective parts and creating huge water bills for me to pay! I am happy to write the first review. We had an old instant hot water tap plus filter and a reverse osmosis water filter installed in our house 12 years ago by this company. It had not been serviced in quite a long time and so I called. I was greeted by excellent customer service. I didn't get the woman's name who answered the phone and connected me to Claudia, in service. She arranged for a service technician to come out at my convenience, 7 am on a Saturday by choice, and offered me an excellent price for changing out my equipment and installation. We paid top dollar for EverHot, The ultimate hot water dispenser for our new house. However it started to leak and damaged our new cabinet just after two years. We are told it cannot be fixed and our only option is to buy a new one. I don't recommend to buy this product because the product and the customer service were both terrible. read more

I purchased an instant hot water heater for under our sink in June 2010 from Water Inc. I had it professionally installed. We are not heavy users of the heater, being away from our home for several months a year. Until now I have been happy with it. That ended yesterday. I suspect that in order to go "on the cheap" the hot water downspout was connected to the heater tank with a plastic fitting! It failed with the result we had water all over our undersink cabinet. I called a plumber who removed the heater, took it apart and showed me the broken plastic nut. I called Water Inc. They informed me that parts have only a one year warranty. They also immediately agreed to mail me a replacement BRASS nut. So I have a water damaged kitchen cabinet and am out roughly $150 (two plumber visits) all because Water Inc. supplied me with a cheap and poorly designed and manufactured product. I spoke with the supervisor at Water Inc. and was told "too bad, the warranty expired after one year". I think that because of the speed with which I received an offer to replace the defective part, Water Inc. knew the produced was defectively designed from the start. They expressed no concern whatsoever about my out of pocket costs. My advice: don't buy this product. If you do, insist that Water Inc. warrants that the fittings are all brass, not plastic. My next under sink water heater, if I need one, will NOT be purchased from Water Inc. read more

Bought a Everhot instant hot water tank and tap through these people. My mind is still spinning on how a business can act this way. So here's the story. I bought the unit because it said it can generate hot water up to 190 Fahrenheit. What they don't tell you is that the faucet will leak when you try to get to that temperature. Not a drip or two, but a considerate drip, all the time. When calling WaterInc to tell them about my grief (within 2 days of installation), they send a technician over to check the unit. He told me the same: if you want your water up to 190, the faucet will leak. It's part of the deal..... If you turn it down to 160 degrees you wont have the problem.... What?! Aren't we missing the point here? If I want that, I'll just buy a boiler right? When calling the office (first a service manager, then a lady in the office, I know their names, but I'll remain descent) they told me the same. The Everhot unit will leak when it heats up and the hotter you want your water, the more it will leak....... Excuse me?! And this is the most mind boggling part: their warranty only provides in repair or replace, but because the unit works as it is supposed to according to their standards - leaking and all when you make it do what it's supposed to - I cannot return the unit. Are you all still with me? Now, granted, they offered me a replacement faucet, but told me I would still always have to deal with a dripping faucet when the unit heats up..... Uh, no thank you. Thanks to a wonderful distributor that was willing to take the unit back - thank you WinSupply in Escondido, you guys know what service is about - I now have an Insinkerator. This unit gets up to 205 degrees no problem without a single drip. All in all: a company that sells a dysfunctional product and gives lousy service on top of that is permanently on my blacklist. read more

The filter is exceptionally easy to install and it works great. I have noticed a huge difference with crystal and glassware. Our water is extremely hard, and the filter has made all the difference in eliminating water spots and making the dishwasher work better. read more

Got the unit and my contractor was trying to install - there was a leak inside the unit. Called Claudia at customer service. She sent technician within one hour. It turned out that there was no problem with the unit and it was just a lot of pressure inside making the unit to leak. She was going to charge me but understood that I had a contractor here and I did not need their help for installation. Hopefully the unit does not leak in future. I have used Water Inc. twice to purchase parts for our Everhot instant hot water device. Even though the device is over 20 years old and the parts are not very expensive, the customer service is excellent. They not only sent the part quickly but also provided a diagram and instructions that enabled us to replace the part ourselves. I purchased a Housepure system by Water, Inc for $3,000. I was worried that it was not installed correctly because I was still getting a rash on my face from chemicals in our water system, so I had a service man come out. After examination, he found that it was indeed correctly installed. I asked him to test the water for its purity. It tested ok. Then I had him test my water from the street. It tested exactly the same as my purified water from the Housepure system. Why did I spend $3,000?? read more
