Our first contact was with Jon, and he was friendly and responsive, and really went above and beyond to help us with the process of replacing our broken, unrepairable water heater. He went through and explained all of the options to us. He was even willing to help us with the process of submitting documents to our home warranty company, which was a headache but he never complained. Easy to schedule and initial communication was good, but they were unresponsive to attempts at follow-up communication. Pricing was reasonable. Only complaint is that when we had the inspection, the inspector noted that we needed a new chimney cap and suggested we ask the water heater company to replace it. I didn't get any response from them when I reached out to them about it and since I was on a business trip, I just contacted the chimney sweep company we use and had them do it. To be fair, the actually installation of the new water heater was done on schedule, at a reasonable price, and efficiently. But the lack of responsiveness to follow-up communication is a red flag. I would consider this company again, but would also be looking at other companies for future water heater services, preferably with better, more modern online communication options. Since I travel a lot for work, often overseas, I'm willing to pay a bit more for companies that make it easy to communicate with and are responsive. read more

We selected WHN after deciding on a Rinnai tankless water heater to replace the old tank heater which started leaking. Obviously, we needed a new water heater quick. WHN did the job. They came out quick, on time, and prepared. Removal of the old tank and installation of our new tankless went smoothly. The technicians were friendly, helpful, and worked efficiently. In all, the entire experience was quick and easy. Let this also be a plug for the Rinnai 199N, it's been AMAZING. A note on the post-installation experience: We qualified for a large rebate with an application deadline of 12/31. The technicians took all of the paperwork for the rebate, but by 12/31, we still hadn't heard anything. After following up with office staff, we learned they had not submitted our application. The did get right on it and ended up submitting the application just in time, so in the end we got our rebate check, but only because we stayed on top of it. No stars taken away though, still highly recommended. read more

I had a leaky water heater, Nate was very helpful and got the water heater replaced quickly, He was very careful with protecting my hardwood floors and stairs while going up and down stairs, and cleaned up the work area when finished. I would have liked to give WHN a better rating as I enjoyed most of the people from this company but in the end we were left with an extremely noisy tankless water heater and absolutely no hot water at our kitchen sink. We ended up contacting the manufacturer directly, opened a a case number and hiring another plumber (to the tune of $387) to work with the manufacturer to resolve the noise issue. I then spent another $70 on parts and rebuilt two of the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom to restore hot water flow to them. The second plumber I hired was willing to do a video chat with the manufacturer and resolve the noise issue. Water Heaters Now was not. read more

We called WHN recently and spoke with Jon, who gave us some advice regarding our water heater. Jon asked for some pictures and then called back immediately after I sent them, described options and provided a quote based on the pictures. He also explained that they could get someone out the next day if needed (I called after 2PM, otherwise they could get someone out the same day). Jon explained the pros and cons of the options clearly, their process (including changes recommended) and never tried to upsell. Instead, John provided further information about water quality in our area, and suggestions for getting some more time out of our existing water heater. Thanks Jon and WHN! I had a 17 year old leaky water heater that needed replacing. I'd called probably half a dozen different plumbers prior to getting in touch with Water Heaters Now, and nobody could even give me a ballpark estimate for what replacing a water heater should cost--everyone wanted to come out, collect their $60-$90 visit fee, and then presumably bank on that sunk cost to get me to just accept whatever figure they could conjure out of the air. Ray from WHN, however, was able to help me select a heater that suited my needs and provide a fair quote over the phone. They made it to my house about an hour after I called, and quickly had my new heater installed and old heater carted off. They also provided extremely valuable (and simple) maintenance guidelines, and left a clean working space. There wasn't any attempt to up-sell, which was refreshing; the only additional work required was a small modification to bring the existing installation up to code, and the cost for that was minimal. I would gladly recommend WHN to anybody looking to replace a heater that doesn't want to deal with all the drama associated with more general-purpose plumbing companies. read more

I wish there was six stars to give as a review on this one. Absolutely awesome service. Friday afternoon at 2:30p and my basement was covered in water. I called them, and they had a technician just finishing their last job of the day. They said that they would come and assess and they were confident that whatever needed to be done could be one today. I was skeptical, but that is exactly what happened. Water Heater now was very quick to respond to request and had replacement scheduled within 24 hours. Unfortunately, their pricing was $700.00 higher than center point with fees to finance. When I stated the price difference, they suddenly had "Discounts and financing available" No thanks! I like to support the little guy, but not to the tune of $700 read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Water Heaters Now! Our water heater died, and we had a home warranty. They came over and looked at it and sure enough our 23yr old heater needed to be replaced. They submitted my claim and it was (incorrectly) denied. Nate spent approximately THREE HOURS on the phone fighting for us. Eventually it was overturned and they were able to do it. They came out the very next day and Jake and Bruce had the job done in about an hour. They were both kind and courteous. They made sure they didn't leave a trace of them after they were gone, they even shoveled our walkway to make sure they didn't track any snow in our house!! After they were done spent time showing me how to maintain it. All of this happened well after their usual work day, they wanted to make sure it got done even though the delay wasn't their fault. I have now benefitted from the services of "Water Heaters Now" at two different residences where I have lived. They were so helpful the first time I needed a water heater replaced, that when I moved to a new home and found myself in need once again, they were the first and only company I thought to contact. I discovered at about 11 p.m. on a Friday night, that my water heater had failed. Knowing that I could shut things down until morning, I went online to their website and filled out the information request. Shortly after 7 a.m. on Saturday morning I received a return phone call from the owner, Ray Snesrud, and they were out immediately to take care of my needs. Everyone from the owner to the staff plumbers / technicians are extremely courteous, honest and honorable. The quality of their work is also top notch, and they were very careful to keep all the areas neat and clean. I was also impressed by their use of drop cloths to protect carpeting and flooring during their work. It's attending to the small details that always makes a big difference. Not only did they install a new water heater and remove the old one, but they also educated me in what I can easily do to maintain and extend the life the new water heater, thereby saving me more money down the road.
