Great service, great water. Everyone seems butt hurt about masking but 99% of studies have shown masks aren't effective so I'm not sure why it's the sword they want to die on when getting water in the desert. The staff is always friendly and I never had to ask for help with water while pregnant and recovering from my c-section. Did I mention how quick their Kangen water is?! Takes half the time to fill my 5gallon jugs that other places take. They have outdoor RO water for the people that think a cloth mask is going to save their lives... just stay outside where it's "safe" guys, leave the poor employees alone. They work in a water store for goodness sakes, not in a hospital. read more

Just bought water at this location. The man helping me with alkaline water and scooping ice cream for other customers was not wearing a mask. When I questioned him, he said he had a medical condition, when I asked him to step aside so I could finish filling my jugs myself, he replied, " it's not like I'm breathing on it". Came here to say exactly what everyone else is saying. This location used to be part of our weekly routine: shop Sprouts, get water and ice cream afterward. Never had any issues, always the sweetest employees wearing masks. I don't know if the joint has changed hands but it's filthy in there now and no one wears a mask. There's a kid who is there who doesn't wear one unless you ask, in which case he goes to the back room to return with a filthy bandana. The creep mentioned here is extra special and won't even wear a mask if asked. Such silliness. Takes so little to just care. We left. Went to the one at 3911 E. Thomas. It was sanitary, employees were friendly and the selection was far beyond what the dirty location near Sprouts offers. read more

Now how do you rate a place that sells water? I'm not sure, but I'll give it a shot. When I settled into my 'hood after moving here, I discovered that there were sea monkeys in my tap water (that's nasty-ass, Phoenix, you get docked one star for that), so I went on the hunt for purified water elsewhere. Sure, there are all these refrigerated water dispensers in front of grocery stores and gas stations, but dude, this place says "Water N' Ice"! A store for water! And ice! So I went in. A friendly older man, who I assume is the owner, helped me figure out which bottles I needed and how to fill them up inside the store without getting my shirt soaking wet (ok, he showed me once I already had my shirt soaking wet - something to do with being gradual with the water pressure, but what do I know?). He said the water was put through a reverse osmosis system which sounded fancy enough to convince me. As long as there aren't any sea monkeys floating around in my water, I'm all good. The store is open till 7 pm if you want to fill up your bottles inside (the hoses also allow you to rinse those 5 gallon jugs out before refilling them). Indoor prices are $0.30/gallon, or you can fill them at the outside dispenser for $0.25/gallon (open 24 hours). Even though Sprouts, which is right there, has its own water dispenser, I've never seen anyone use it. Everyone always comes to this place. Good water or good marketing? Who knows. Anyway, beyond water (and ice!), and a whole array of water jugs/gallons/coolers for sale, this Water N Ice location also does shaved ice, and is very popular with the kids, enough so that the owner has a "Only 3 Students In the Store At Any One Time!" sign in the window. Those measly ruffians. Gotta watch out for them troublesome kids. Bah. So in the end, it's my friendly neighborhood water store. Run by a friendly old guy, staffed by other friendly people, producing friendly, sea monkey-free water. 4 stars. read more

Love this place! We drive to this one specifically since the one by our house doesn't have ice cream. This is the best cheapest ice cream around and it's so creamy and delicious! The guy who works the counter is super sweet and has helped me with a lot of my random requests and answers my random questions. You can tell he really loves his job. Love love it! Parking usually good we never had to circle for parking but it's not an empty parking lot since there's a lot of restaurants around but it's not an issue. It's clean yummy and friendly. Give that man a raise he's lovely. read more

Water is LIFE!! Especially, when you are born and raised island life all your entire life and you make the move to the Continent. It really makes you appreciate our water back home, I can't get water from the kitchen faucet, I have to order my soft drinks and water ALL da time with lemon just to kill that chlorine taste and I still have a hard time drinking from my office filter cuz I can taste the chemicals! Back home, I used to get alkaline water from this one place near Ala Moana Center in Oahu. I just had a hard time purchasing the machine because in our islands our water is 90% fresh! But, I used to drink this when I would go out at night for drinks- drink 1 cup and wouldn't have a hang over. Alkaline water is a health benefit- I've seen first hand how it helped my family members with their diabetes, gave me more energy, clean my veggies and fruits, used it for cooking... a lot of westernized doctors don't believe in it and there's a lot of negatives to it! But, im gonna tell you it's worth it... back home I could fill it up for free but, over here they charge about $8.00/per 5 gallon but, ehh das okay cuz it's good water and I'm super happy they have it here all over in Phoenix. Just don't drink this water if you are on prescribed medication - the ionize in the alkaline water absorbs to quickly with the medication. Happy, Happy, Happy Kangen water :-) read more

Major creep working at this location scooping ice cream who was NOT wearing a mask and when I politely asked him if there was reason for him not wearing a mask, he replied that he doesn't have one. Then I asked if there was anyone else who could scoop our ice cream who does have a mask and he said no. We chose to leave. I am pretty sure most companies provide their employees with masks if needed and there are plenty of places around the valley that offer free masks to anyone. read more

I chose to give them business since they are near me and purchased 3 - 5 gallon BPA free water bottles for roughly $60. I was told upon purchase that I would get a free fill up. I bought these for alkaline water, and that's what I wanted and I was informed that he cannot do that. Shame. Would have been coming here regularly to fill up, I'll drive the extra couple minutes down to Whole Foods to fill up. read more

Do NOT pay attention to the ancient reviews for this place. Best Water & Ice hands down. There's obviously new management now, and the guy who's in charge when I go -- AJ -- is fantastic. I am extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at this location. I purchased a BPA free 5 gallon bottle. I was informed that they break much easier than the bottles that contain BPA so I was extra careful as I carrier it into my house. Shortly after I got it home, I realized that it had a very slow leak in the bottom. No big deal I thought, I'll just bring it in to exchange it for a new bottle. I have been in on two different occasions since. Both times all I was looking for was to exchange the bottle, both times I was told to come back at a different time. unfortunately the time that they are requesting I come in, I am at work. I have wasted my time on both occasions. I do not understand this type of treatment of a guest. If a business is open, it needs to be able to operate the functions necessary it take care of it's guests. At this point, I am giving up on ever being able to get the bottle I paid for. It has been a week and I have not received the call back from the manager. I do not plan to visit this location again in the future. read more
