I did a search for refillable water and found this place close to my appointment. It was going to be a handy stop. I grabbed my empty gallon jug and a box to keep it steady while driving. I stopped in before opening hours. The water vending machines were open so I was happy about that. Plugged in my coins, placed my jug in the appropriate area and got a fill. I went 20 minutes before closing, but the crew was so sweet and caring! The snocone was by far the best I've ever had--better than any I've tried in Hawaii! The flavors were so rich, and the texture was just perfect. Plus, they serve Thrifty's ice cream and have water jug refill stationswhich is a huge bonus! Been a customer here for 17 yrs. Absolutely the best quality water around. Will not ever drink tap water, you just don't know what your drinking. Parking is always a challenge but you cant beat the great taste of the water.. New ownership are continuing the legacy of the previous owners. This place is owned by a husband-and-wife team. I talked with the wife on the phone and she was kind and patient, answering questions about their 5-gallon jugs. Questions I'm sure they get every day. I came in and met the husband. He was great, helped me get the container filled, told me about their outside filling stations, and we talked for a bit. Good people. I ended up returning at 10pm at some stage and filled my water bottle from their outside filling station. It worked as expected and was simple to use. Just moved to Az from Ca and needed a water store to fill our water jugs that wasn't the crap out side the supermarket. Found this little gem on Yelp about 1 month ago. Great place, the owner was very kind and helpful. Tom helped me fill my containers, load them on a cart , chatted with me and then made me 2 tasty Hawaiian Ice for the road. Came in to see if I'd be able to buy ice without having to get them prepackaged in a bag (place straight into a cooler?), and the woman said yes. After I finished with errands, I returned with my 16 qt. cooler, and watched the woman fill it up with eight giant scoops of ice- all for $2.50! I think I can get at least double the amount in a bag for the same price, plus tax, at Costco, but I'd have to deal with the wait at cashier lines, the mess of opening the bag and "pouring" the ice into the cooler (I always have ice toppling all over, which isn't so bad in this heat), recycling the bag (or add to the pollution), AND all the ice that would eventually go unused. Better to make a quick stop at Paseo Water & Ice and pay for what I need (four giant scoops cost $1.75) and save the environment, one bag at a time. This Water & Ice location not only serves your ice and water needs, but also Thrifty-brand ice cream and snow cones! I've already looked into Thrifty-brand in the past, so I know I cannot have it due to the corn syrup content (and other corn derivatives), and I'm willing to bet that all of those flavored syrups contain corn syrup and/or "natural flavorings," which are derived from corn, so "none for me, please," but Paseo Water & Ice does serve these, and I'm just passing the info to you. read more

OK... What's so special about a place that sells water and ice? They sell 25 pound bags of ice... For $2.50! If you are having a party, or going camping such as we do, its a pain in the rear to mess with those little 7-8 lb. (mini) bags of ice. This is the only place around this area that I know of that carried these giant sized bags of ice! We stock up on purified drinking water here as well- Bring in your container and tank up, Baby! Special parking for ice customers only right in front, carts to carry heavy items to the car, or, they will load it for you. read more

I wish I'd found this place many years ago. Actually, I knew it was there, since I live in the neighborhood, but just never thought about going there. But when the coronavirus hit and the grocery stores starting limiting the amount of water you could buy to one gallon per visit, I didn't want to keep going back to the store every day just to get water. A friend mentioned Paseo Water & Ice and said he's been a customer for years. He said Tom, the owner, was a really nice person. So, I went in and bought some multi-gallon containers and Tom filled them up for me and helped me load them into my car. I've been back several times and he's always as pleasant and helpful as can be. Haven't met the Mrs. yet, but I hear from another friend (who started going there on my recommendation) that she's every bit as nice as Tom. I feel really good about giving them as much business as I can (and I always give a decent tip). Plus, I feel great about not buying all of those plastic water jugs anymore. That had bothered me for a long time, even though I recycled them, so I'm especially glad that I found such a great solution! read more

One of the best customer service encounters that I've had in a long time. I moved here from Houston (by way of New Orleans) 2 years ago, so I know great hospitality when I see it. It was sooo refreshing to meet Ms. Joyce. This location is near my job but this was my first time coming here, and my 3rd time to a Water & Ice location. It's not even about the customer service because her people skills are on point! She does stuff for you that she would want for herself. I ordered a cream soda/birthday cake snow cone with a scoop of ice cream and condensed cream on top. First of all, when she was doing the shaved ice, she layered the syrup between layers of ice instead of just pouring it on top of the full cup. Then she made a hole in he middle of the snow cone to pour the condensed cream down, instead of it just being on top. Those above and beyond things. Not only am I going to continue to come back for snow cones on my lunch break, I am going to start refilling my water here as well. Highly recommend! read more
