This place is an absolute dump. Floors haven't been mopped in months and nothing's been wiped down or clean. Guy can't even give you a proper receipt. Water taste literally like tapwater filter through a dirty rag. And somehow it's pH is lower than neutral. Sitting around 5.5. You're gonna get a stomach ache from drinking his water and heartburn. I guess he hasn't changed out his filtration system in a year or two and he's having excessive sediment pass-through. You can't afford to even keep his credit card roll receipt paper in stock let alone changing out filters. Going to this place is a kin to dropping seven dollars in a glass jar outside of the front of your house and filling it up with your hose water. read more

We've been coming here for the past 7 years and highly recommend it for quality water and service. This location has been owner operated for almost 30yrs and he really cares about the quality of his water. The store is always nice and clean. It's located inside a busy strip mall but the owner thoughtfully reserves parking right out front for easy loading. Which is great especially when you're filling multiple 5 gallon bottles at a time. Best part is there's rarely a wait. He's always helping people fill up their bottles so things move smoothly and quickly. read more

Came to get a shaved ice. It was 3.99 for a 32oz and they didn't even fill it all the way. Normally when I get shaved ice it's heaping over. Not only did he leave over an inch of space in the cup the ice itself was fluffy and not packed down. The ice was freezer burned. When I asked him to add more syrup he refused & was very rude. I will forever support this small business. A friend recommended this place to me. The owner is loved by his community and I quickly realized why. Every 4-5 days I go in there to fill a 5 gallon bottle. Every time I go in- I am welcomed by the owner who is just so lovely and helpful. You can drop your bottles off and he will fill them up for you while you run a quick errand. Aside from the customer service, the quality is great. You can see the water filtration system inside- much better than filling up from one of those machines outside Circle K. He even has alkaline water - if that is what you prefer. His prices are more than fair. (we are talking about water after all). He puts the a sense of community back into the area. I highly recommend. read more

The outside water dispenser give less than a gallon of water. Inside there is no setup to rinse water jugs. Owner just said clean them before you come in. Some of the nicer stores provide this service, it's very convenient. Alkaline water is expensive and dispenser slow. These are the main three reasons I avoid this water and ice. read more

The guy over charged me again today. He gives you a weird look to see if you notice. Well I didn't catch on until after I left and did the math. He grabs your bottles and starts to fill them without even asking you. I'm almost wondering if this water is even properly filtered because he doesn't know much about water. I own an Alkaline machine back home and I had to educate him on it, he tried telling me things that weren't true even though I took an entire class on it when I bought it. I divorced Sparklett's water because for $44 a month, it just wasn't worth me being a lazy bastard. I owned my cooler, and as a new homeowner was trying to keep expenses under control. I did a Yelp search and found this neighborhood Watering (literally) hole. W&I is located in the Albertson's plaza, near LoLo's. While the parking lot is packed, this considerate little store has two dedicated parking spots, and I have never had an issue parking. My first visit, the owner was working, and he was so kind and helpful. I didn't have any lids, so he threw them in for free (usually $1 a piece) and he told me about the prepaid card which saved me $5.00 instantly. The owner proudly described how his water goes through more filtering and more importantly is fresher than Sparklett's, who has to mass produce millions of gallons of water ahead of time. W&I makes water on demand, and honestly the water I got tastes JUST like high-end FIJI water, so the owner wasn't exagerating. Last but not least,, this location has Thrifty's Ice Cream, which any local will tell you is amazing. You can even get a cone, or freshly packed pint. The owner, Ghaus, is a truly nice man and I feel good about giving him business. He is very personable and visiting his shop makes me feel part of a community. The water is well priced, tastes as it should and the cart he provides to transport the 5 gallon jugs to your vehicle is convenient. It's a busy strip mall, but the dedicated parking in front of the establishment ensures you rarely, if ever, need to wait for a spot to park. Recommend the pre pay punch cards for the best price. Two weeks ago I wandered into Water 'n Ice to see what it was all about. I ended up buying a water punch card for $15 with 50 gallons on it. That means 10 cents/gallon for flavorless water. Flavorless is good! They weren't open when I needed a refill so I used the outside water dispenser for .30/per gallon. I am going try the ice cream when Igo back. I've heard it's delicious. I bought a water dispenser at Home Depot today and attached a 5 gallon water bottle. I want to buy a 3 gallon water bottle when I go back so I will have two bottles. Now I will drink more water. Yeah! Just what the Dr. ordered. The owner needs to set up voicemail so the phone doesn't ring and ring when you call to check office hours. read more
