I was hesitant to go into the Outlet by La-Z-Boy because I anticipated high-pressure sales. But I was pleasantly surprised by Corey, who greeted me, heard my request for the freedom to start 'trying on' chairs, and gave me room to explore. He touched base with me a couple of times, then actually sat with me as I "thought out loud" about my options. When I finally narrowed the choice down to two, there was one I liked just a little better, but the back felt "loose." Corey took the time to educate me on how to tighten the tension--and he actually made a quick change which fixed my concern. The chair was perfect. Corey also taught me the life hack for removing and easily replacing the back so that I wouldn't be confused at home. I was impressed, when I confirmed my choice, to see the whole team jump into action--working together to prep my chair for the trip home. A couple folks took the chair to the back to wrap in plastic, while Corey worked with me to process the purchase. Rather than just taking my payment, he and his colleagues interacted with me in a way that made me feel like my satisfaction was their only goal. They were jovial and educational and quick to provide answers for all of my questions. I came in for a chair, but I was being stewarded with "good vibes" that made me feel great about the whole experience. Corey gave me a blanket as a housewarming gift, then he and one of the guys who had worked with me at the register met me out back. They carefully loaded the car while we talked and laughed and I was on my way. It was some of the BEST customer service i have experienced. Corey and the others are the folks I will contact FIRST for all of my future furniture needs. I am grateful and feel very blessed.

I took the time to sit in the ones I had as potential candidates. Talked with Terry for quite a while about the different options. He was truly the Professional and helped walk me through exactly what I was looking for. A true professional, not rushing me but explaining EVERYTHING I wanted to know about my chair. I was introduced to this husband-and-wife-run show at a Yelp event showcasing locally run businesses around central Ohio. They know where to look, who to know, and how to make wonderful furniture. Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. "Reduce, reuse, recycle" at its finest! I'm excited that they're working on expanding there work space. Having the front-space addition, they're planning to make a "show room"/ come and try/experience their offerings before you chat and decide on a design. Nice!

Bought a refrigerator online. Set up delivery for Sunday. No one ever called to set up a time so I…read morewaited all day. At 4:45 the delivery guy shows up. They delivered it in a small pick up truck with just one person and a folding dolly. It's a 250lbs refrigerator. It was supposed to be hooked up and haul the old one away. The delivery guy had no helper and dropped the fridge off the back of his truck. After an hour on the phone with the store and the delivery dispatch, it was decided he would return the damaged fridge to the store. I would pick out another and they would deliver it. Hook up and haul away. Second delivery was supposed to be after 3:30. I received a text that my delivery was on the way at 11:30am. I called the store I called dispatch, I was told I had to be at the house to received it or be charged again and my fridge would be returned. I took off work 4 hours early. The delivery guy showed up at 4:50 promptly got into a fist fight with his helper. The helper took off walking and the delivery driver said he had to go find help and would return. Two hours later he returns. He tried to park his truck for 30 minutes. Complains about the lack of parking on a public residential street, then told me he would have to return because he'd been there too long. He didn't even bother trying to deliver my fridge. He just said dispatch said he was there long enough. American freight says they don't know what to do, and that I can't get a refund until Charles Hickman their district manager approves it. He won't return my calls or texts. I have videos of everything. I will never purchase from them again.

However, Kelli was having major issues this time. Forget the customer is always right. She kept going out of her way to try to put me down and prove I was stupid, and she was smart. (Even though it was obvious at least once that she was wrong about something, saying for sure a couch was in one area of the store until her associate pointed out it was in a completely different area). I was rather irritated and thought my husband didn't notice her repetitive, rude jabs since she was primarily trying to do it behind his back. We ran out of time before pregnant hunger came back again, and then I was starting to have big doubts, especially about giving Kelli any commission with her horrendous customer service skills. As we were leaving I shared my concerns about Kelli and asked if he had noticed. He said he had definitely noticed, but if I was fine, he didn't want to sour the whole scene. He added that no she definitely wasn't treating you right, and that was wrong. So we both decided that we would either go to the Dublin or Polaris store or at least ask for a different sales person. However, it turned out that whole sour experience derailed us, and we never went back to purchase the couch during that sale. What I did like about Front Room, is that many of their couches are USA made. There are also a lot of customization features. But like I said, if we do go back, we are surely staying away from Kelli and probably this location in general.
