However, I accidentally went to another rental shop and thought my reservation was there. That rental shop did not tell me my reservation wasn't on their books and so I ended up renting from them, not knowing that I made a reservation with a different company (Riverstar) I ended up having a missed call from an unknown number at 12 and I called it back at 5 only to realize it was Riverstar rentals asking where I was with my reservation and why I didn't show up to get me jet skis. At that moment, I had realized I didn't have a reservation for the skis I picked up. When speaking with the owner (I forget his name) I could tell he was bummed as he held the skis all day waiting for me when they easily could have gone to someone else. Instead of complaining and getting upset with me, he asked if I had fun, was understanding about it and handled it very professionally. I am looking forward to using River Star rentals next time I visit. It's not always about how company's handle things that go right, but how they handle them when they go wrong.

I would say leave about 2 hours and 15 min ahead of your scheduled time slot if you plan on driving from the same area. I wanted something simple, already on the water, no need for us to hook on and off and get to and from the river. This was a perfect experience. We were running a bit late and they were very understanding and didn't deduct from our time. When you get to the riverwalk behind the Aquarius Casino, you'll find their booth where you will check in and present your ID, credit card and sign paperwork. It was all relatively quick. Then they gave us our life jackets and a paper to give to their team on the dock for the jet skii. We got a quick safety brief and accessed prior damage on the jet skii, and climbed on. One of the team members was kind enough to ask if we wanted a picture together before we took off and we really appreciated that. As 2 people, not planning on staying in the area, the 1 hr rental was a perfect time frame for us. Thank you to the entire team at Rocky River Adventure Center! We had a perfect alphabet J date!

The staff gave us a clear, helpful safety brief and walkthrough before getting us out on the water. The skis were already launched at the dock/beach, so we didn't have to deal with trailer loading or public ramp headaches. The jet skis were in great condition, powerful, and handled the river chop really well. Cruising up and down the river along the casino strip and taking in the desert canyon scenery was incredible. Prices were fair, fuel included for a 1 hour ride, and the crew on the dock was super friendly and attentive. Also comfortable seating area for any friends or parents that may want to sit and wait or watch. Highly recommend if you're looking to cool off and add some thrill to your Laughlin getaway. THEY STOLE OUR MONEY. STAY AWAY FROM RENTING HERE!…read more This was hands down one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. We rented two Sea-Doos. Within 30 minutes, one wouldn't accelerate, so we brought it back. They swapped it out with another Sea-Doo without inspecting the broken one or asking more questions. Even worse, we watched them send that same broken Sea-Doo back out with another customer. A few hours later, the replacement Sea-Doo started sinking while it was anchored. We had to tow it back ourselves using the only working Sea-Doo. We then spent over an hour floating around waiting for someone to answer the phone and tell us where to bring it. By the time everything was sorted out, we had lost most of our day and were left with just one Sea-Doo for a couple more hours. When we returned, we were told to speak with Moe, who we were led to believe handled refunds. Instead, we discovered they had actually charged us for three Sea-Doos despite one being a replacement for equipment that failed. We're going on two weeks of empty promises, "we'll call you back" excuses, and zero resolution. Their communication is terrible, their customer service is unprofessional, and they take no accountability for their own equipment failures. At this point, we'll be pursuing legal action and sharing this experience across every review platform and my own social media. Do yourself a favor, save your time, money, and vacation. There are plenty of other rental companies in the area that actually maintain their equipment and stand behind their customers.
