Service was good but the food wasn't. For an appetizer we got their Crab, Avocado, Mango stack, they have listed as voted the best in Oklahoma and while it might have been at one time it most certainly isn't now. The only part of it with flavor was the crab. We were also recommended the Chicken Piccata which looked like a plate of gravy slop and the chicken which was tasteless. Lastly dessert, bread pudding which had little to no moisture and you could taste that they used burnt pieces of bread. For a dessert that is so simple to make and looked good the execution was terrible. Will not be back again. read more

It was just okay. Their sushi was really good. I got the firecracker and the tiger roll. Kinda pricy for 8 pieces all together. We also got the crab, mango, avocado appetizer. It was really interesting. I didn't think I would like it but it was very fresh tasting. The avocado was fresh. The mangos weren't to sour and the crab was very fresh. My dad got the pork chop and it was a little pink still and tough. My step mom ordered the sea bass and said it was delightfully fresh. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich and was not impressed. The meat was tough and not tender at all. Their drinks were great! I got the peach Bellini it was super sweet but I was delighted I could taste the alcohol (usually in those fruity drinks the alcohol is overpowered by flavor). This is the second bad experience and the last!! We ordered our food, waited patiently. We were told 40 minutes later that it would be just a few more minutes. Twenty minutes later we are still waiting while a table that came 45 minutes after we sat down received their food. The manager offered desserts if we would continue to wait. We left and I would discourage anyone from risking the same bad experiences. read more

This last time we came early on a Friday and were told by the very rude hostess that they only had two servers and there would be a wait. But many tables were open. The manager apologized and said it was time for shift change. Several People were then seated ahead of us so we left. We gave it another try..and they failed to deliver AGAIN. We live in Jenks and so we have lots of opportunity to dine at Waterfront and every time has been a disappointment. I won't go down misery lane and bore you with the sad story... but this time we tried out the brunch. It's a huge restaurant with plenty of seating, when we arrived their were only 3 other patrons. The wait staff was standing around and not busy. We ordered an iced Tea, Grapefruit juice and a coffee. The tea was super dark and obviously not fresh... bad start The monkey bread appetizer was recommended by the server, it looked great.. unfortunately it was served cold. This was pretty much the theme for the entire experience. Great looking food served cold. The main focus seemed to be on the drink specials. The sever was cheerful and friendly, pretty much the only reason for two stars. With so much competition in the area, you would think they would execute the dishes better. read more

My fiance and I had the occasion to visit the Waterfront Grill in Tulsa Oklahoma for the first time while visiting the city with her grandkids. Everyone was polite, and after a short wait, we were seated. We placed our orders and the food arrived in a timely fashion. She had ordered the lobster ravioli which was described as "Ravioli filled with lobster and smothered in our tomato basil cream sauce". The food came out and everybody started to eat. As I watched her take her first bite her eyes got wide and she promptly spat it back out. Her face scrunched up in pain and her mouth was on fire! She told me it was super spicy! She has no tolerance to anything spicy and swells up and gets hives inside her mouth if she eats any kind of hot pepper. I on the other hand love spicy stuff and have a pretty high tolerance. I tasted it and it was even super spicy by my standards. Don't get me wrong the flavor was fantastic but I would have had trouble finishing it due to the heat. We flagged down the waitress who said she would take it back and send the manager over. After about 20 minutes when the manager didn't show I asked the waitress if the manager was still coming over. The waitress seems surprised that I still wanted to talk to the manager and said she would be right over. The manager, Christina showed up and apologized for the dish and informed me that she went back there and tried the sauce and it was indeed very spicy. She told me this is a pre-made sauce and comes to them that way so it's not something the chef could have accidentally made too spicy. She let me know that she had it removed from the menu until they can get it sorted out! She also made it a point to let me know that they would not be charging us for that particular dish as if she was doing us some huge favor. They did after all take it off the table and back to the kitchen without even letting us eat it so they legally should not have been able to charge me for it anyway. I let the manager know that more than the dish just being a little spicy it did not indicate any heat or spice anywhere in the description that a tomato basil cream sauce should not contain any spice. This seemed to be loaded with cayenne pepper. I let her know that my fiance has a severe sensitivity to hot peppers and anything spicy and that her mouth had swollen up and she developed hives inside her cheek and was not able to eat dinner tonight because of this. The manager replied "oh she has an allergy? I'm sorry." and then walked off towards the kitchen never to be seen again! After about 20 minutes the waitress came by and asked if we wanted our check. I got the check which was for the full amount of the dinner minus her ravioli and paid for it and never once was offered anything to make this right. They didn't even offer her a glass of milk to try to wash out the hot pepper from her face. She was not able to eat dinner that night because for most of the 3-hour ride home to Wichita Kansas her mouth was on fire. Having managed restaurants in the past I would have been over backward to do everything I could to take care of a customer like this especially where my restaurant was directly responsible for somebody's pain and discomfort. I would have offered to call an ambulance, I would have offered some milk to help wash out any remaining pepper oil in her mouth, I would have comped the meal and brought out desserts, I would have done something especially after the manager had gone back and personally tasted the sauce and agreed that it was way too spicy to be able to be served! I made it a point to pay for my meal before telling the waitress how disappointed I was with how the situation was handled. I wanted them to know that I wasn't looking for anything for free but I think some effort here would have been appropriate. This was completely unacceptable and had I been the boss of that manager, she would have been fired on the spot for complete ineptitude. read more

Always forget this place as dining out option. Went for a father's day brunch. The Bloody Mary Bar offers up plenty of options, with lots of hot sauces, pickles, olives, bacon and SLIM JIMS. I opted for the build your own omelet. Again generous selection of veggies and meets. You can even top with a half of an avocado when finished. These things are giant. I thought it came with homefries (it doesn't), but I was way to stuffed to even think about eating a side. Wife enjoyed her blue berry pancakes. The little dude enjoyed his massive chocolate chips pancakes. Service was fine, but a bit slow to deliver and collect the check. Place is huge. Was planning on getting there are opening to avoid any rush. Punctuality has fallen to the wayside now that I have a threenager. We come here pretty often and I always enjoy it. For Jenks, OK it's a darn good place. We do like their patio seating and the bar area. If you can get a seat outside on a nice day, you'd enjoy it...we'd all enjoy it much more if there was water in the river but that's neither here nor there. The food is always good, fresh, and presented nicely. I like their tuna tower but don't get it as a meal...it's too much. HA! I tried that once. You won't go wrong with anything they have on their menu though. Honestly. And their meatloaf is even good! You have to try the new orleans salmon or the hickory burger. Made it to brunch on Saturday at 1:45. Brunch on Sat and Sun is 10 - 2. Shown to a booth by masked staff. All staff had masks on except one Covidiot who was dressed in civilian clothes (short sleeved shirt, khaki pants, gray haired and was roaming throughout the restaurant including the kitchen. While he did have a mask on, it never covered his nose. Our server was Sheldon and was very professional and attentive. Wife ordered a Manmosa ($6) and California Omelet ($11). I got a Dead Armadillo Amber can and asked for a glass ($5.50). I also got the Huevos Rancheros with cheesy hash browns ($11). Both meals were good. He brought us waters and the meal came out quickly. My wife usually gets the "Create your own omelet bar" but it had already been taken down. All the staff were dressed in nice black attire except of the aforementioned man. All staff were busy serving and bussing tables. No condiments on the table, which is a good thing. Booths have high backs which sort of act as dividers, but I notice they set customers in adjoining booths. read more

We entered and made eye contact with the young hostess who was having an obviously personal phone call. As we walked up to her podium, she turned away so we couldn't hear her and ignored us for a couple of minutes. I suggested to my wife that we go elsewhere as I hate being ignored by someone who is supposed to welcome you. Finally a waitress came up and apologized for the hostess' actions. Waitress seated us in a booth and another waitress then came up and took care of us. I had Fish & Chips and wife had Prime Rib Sandwich. Both were very good and we had good service from the waitress. Somehow I always end up coming here when I'm visiting home. The venue is what makes it for me - it's one of the few places where you can sit outside and have a really pretty view of the river. Though the food isn't out of this world, it's reliably good and has yet to disappoint me, and really, if I'm sitting outside on that gorgeous patio, I have a great experience at Waterfront no matter what! I love getting their sushi with the seaweed salad. I usually switch it up, but my most recent favorite is the Tiger Roll (dry and without jalapeno/cream cheese). All their sushi is really fresh tasting and some of the best in Tulsa. The ahi tuna salad, mahi mahi plate, and really any other fish meal will also be really good (except for the fish sandwich, which is very fried and fatty). I've never gotten the burger myself, but everyone I've been with who ordered it has found it pretty lackluster, so I'd avoid that. As far as appetizers go, the crab and mango stack is the obvious choice - it's pretty unique (for Tulsa) and tasty! Also the chocolate creme brulee is heaven if you want dessert. The servers are always kinda quirky but super diligent. Our waitress last night came back several times to check on us, refill waters, etc. She even continued to fill up our water after we'd paid the bill, which I think shows really great and genuine customer service. Come here for brunch (they have some crazy good deals - $12 unlimited omelettes, $2 mimosas, etc.) or for dinner; either way, whether you're with friends or family, Waterfront won't disappoint. read more

No wait to secure seating inside but if you wanted outside be prepared to wait. Booth very nice with backing to give enough privacy to carry on a conversation. Nice ambiance-though a/c was on and we were sitting under an exhaust duct. Our server was outstanding. He knew the dishes and answered all of our questions. Very courteous. Ordered drinks, my favorite Sidecar (original Harry's) even asked and explained the mixture-disappointing. Bonefish, Bodean's and The Palace make a better Sidecar. The Calamari and Crab Avocado were excellent as appetizers. Very nice presentation. I settled on prime rib and was very disappointed. The cut was not only cool but tough as well. The Au jus was warm not hot. Ate about a third. The manager made inquiry and did not charge for the entree. Notwithstanding the no charge I doubt I would order prime rib again. read more

A bit surprising for a restaurant putting on an upscale edge. The people in my party can't have green vegetables so they asked for it to be removed from their mixed vegetables. They said they couldn't take them out, which leads me to believe they purchase pre-packaged veggies and don't prepare fresh veggies there. They were able to offer broccoli (for me since I don't like squash) by itself but nothing to offer for those requesting no greens. They had the salmon and enjoyed it, the side of coleslaw was good as well. I had the talapia which was stuffed and served with a caper, butter, cream sauce. Although the flavor was good, I found myself with tough pieces of the edges in my mouth that I had to take out and then picked through the rest to remove the hard pieces. The edges and bottom were a bit overcooked for me. The cocktails, however, were excellent. Kudos to the bartenders. The table service was good but our initial impression wasn't that friendly. There were 4 or 5 young ladies at the reception desk waiting for us to come in. We asked for a table with a view of the river and they initial sat us at a booth in the bar area (which did have a view of the river). We asked to be moved to one of the window front tables in the dining area, we were told they were for parties of 6 or more. That's a shame as the layout of the restaurant is such that most patrons seated in the dining area can't see the river when seated. On the bright side, the bar area and outdoor seating area have great views. The decor is very nice but I did have to swipe crumbs off of my booth seat before I sat down. Funny how many restaurants clean off their tabletops right on to their seats. For me, if I returned, I'd sit in the bar and have some appetizers, drinks and small plates. Just a dry salad and for someone who doesn't have this dressing at hand it ruins the whole salad. I thought their To-Go's would be able double check the bags before sending them off. Waterfront, you have so much potential! We heard mixed reviews so we thought we'd give it a shot and see for ourselves. The place has a great ambiance that's very relaxing. The waitstaff was friendly and not overbearing like some places like this can be. We ordered an aloha roll as our appetizer. It was better than I expected for not being primarily a sushi restaurant. The tuna was relatively fresh and had a good flavor to it. For my main meal, I had stuffed tilapia and my boyfriend had the meatloaf. The tilapia came with three filets stuffed with shrimp, scallops and crab meat. I enjoyed the flavors, but the meal was very heavy. I like my fish dishes to be on the lighter side and I think this dish missed the mark. The green beans and mashed potatoes that came with the meatloaf were excellent! The meatloaf on the other hand was just okay, not as good as the meatloaf at Wolfgang. I really think that Waterfront could be a great restaurant, but the main courses aren't exactly meeting my expectations especially when you look at how much you've spent. With a little TLC, I think Waterfront can become better than an okay restaurant! read more

It's such a steal and they make it right in front of you with at least 10 different things to add!! Once it's made, you can ask to garnish it with avocado and pile that salsa on. No need for ketchup. I haven't been here for Brunch in a while. In the past the place was packed. All three of our order were subpar. I had Eggs Benedict with cubed potatoes. All color and with no flavor. My daughter had chicken tenders. The frys were better than the chicken fingers. Other guest had a Saracha Chicken sandwich. Not good at all. We ordered a side of cheesy potatoes casserole to share and try. Never received it. Sadly we should have just gone to a fast food place. Service wasn't great and since the place wasn't busy you'd think our food would come out piping hot and quickly. No on both accounts. I had the Bonzai Roll it was so good. It had Spicy Tuna, Avocado, Cucumber & Jalapeno with fresh Eel & Eel Sauce, and the coolest part was that it was served on a skillet that is on Fire. My table also got 2 appetizers, the Half & Half, Thin Hand-Cut Potato Chips & Shoestring Onion Strings with amazing spicy Ketchup. and we also had the Crab, Avocado & Mango Stack which is supposed to be the best appetizer in Tulsa, I don't know if it was, it was good it had Jumbo Crab Meat tossed in Remoulade Sauce, Avocado & Fresh Mango and it was served with Tortilla Chips. It was pretty good. Being from Mississippi I am a little bit of a Seafood Snob, the crab I don't think was fresh but canned, but the Avocado and Mango were good. I was so glad that just because that the store was closing soon they welcomed me in. There was not even a look of disgust that I came in so late. I had the tuna appetizer that is AMAZING. then a banzi sushi. They serve it on fire underneath. This caramelized the eel sauce and steams the inside. It does make the sushi a little soft and will fall apart but man is it cool. Also had jalapeno margaritas and they have a nice jalapeno peppers taste without a big kick. It was ok. We came here for brunch to celebrate my mother's 83rd birthday. My sister-in-law had called earlier in the week to make sure we could get an atrium table for the seven of us. All should have been well, but instead of an atrium table, the seven of us hunkered down at a booth. We're talking two middle aged couples, two 30-somthings, and an octogenarian forced to smash in together. Needless to say it was difficult to have a conversation let alone eat. Worse than this, the mimosa's were without champagne. I kid you not, they brought us juice from concentrate and forgot the booze. lol On the good side, we all liked the Persian Benedict. The cheese potatoes were not worth the calories. The taters had very little flavor and were undercooked. I can't tell you how great the server was. She was prompt, professional, and funny. Ordered to go pick-up at about 4pm, Sunday. They sounded busy on the phone, but as i arrived the place only had 2-4 guests inside and most of the staff was standing around or grouped together eating at tables. I was quoted 15 mins over the phone. I got there about 4:30pm, order was not ready, but came out a couple minutes later after waiting at the bar. Staff were good and helpful, the food smelled good in the car back home. The calamari is rubbery to hell and not even warm in the container on touch, put it in the microwave to try to soften it up and re-warm it to no avail. Gave a piece to the dog and he had all the breading off and kept spitting it out until he got it broken up. Tilamook burger was ok, patty is perfectly round so it came frozen like a fast food burger, nothing on the edge, Tilamook cheese sliced extremely thin, i can see the patty through the cheese on the burger. Went for Sunday brunch after Church. Place was full, but not packed yet. There were at least 6 empty, but not yet clean tables in plain view. One of the three young ladies at the desk said there would be a 5 to 10 minute wait. For the next 20 minutes we got to watch the waiting area fill up and the young ladies talk to each other and check their phones. Eventually we got to see these same hostesses go over to the empty tables and finally wipe down a table for us. We mainly ordered steaks from this place. I was with a party of 7. One person ordered the ahi tuna. For apps, we ordered calamari and spinach artichoke dip. Some of us ordered sides of corn on the cob. EVERYONE loved their steaks and were cooked to their order. Very juicy, well seasoned, awesomeness. The ahi tuna was good as well. The corn on the cob, which I know you can't screw up that bad, was so good we ordered it 2 more times because it was really well seasoned (we had a strange craving for it at the time). Their steaks as we found out, are ordered from Chicago. No comments on the wine since I didn't drink any. read more
