Waters Edge Marina helped make our recent family vacation in Lake George two weeks ago an absolute treasure. From the owners Lori and her husband, to all of the staff such as Jay and others, they were always there to assist at a moments notice. We opted for a long-term rental which turned out to the best option without having to wait in line for daily rentals. We opted for the 20' deck boat and were very happy about the selection. We accidentally brought our marine cooler, not realizing that the boats here at Waters Edge Marina were already outfitted with a cooler. With the marina being centrally located to all which we planned to do, from Calfs Pen, to Log Bay and Shelving Rocks and the Village, it was always nice to be able to stop in and out of the marina for the little ones use the bathrooms which appear to be few and far between on the Lake these days with lots of places shut down. read more

Definitely a great place to grab a sandwich! Went here for a quick lunch after the beach and worked out great! They had a great kids menu and even had juice boxes for kids, which is a plus. Confirmed a reservation months in advance for a boat. Called several days prior as well as the day before to reconfirm. Upon arrival was told they didn't have any boats and they were very rude. Very disappointing experience. read more

From start to finish this was the highlight of our vacation. The atmosphere of Waters Edge was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door and we met Laurie and the staff at Waters Edge we were treated like family. Laurie walked us through the ins and the outs of the boat and the markers to be aware of while on the lake. She also informed us of good fishing locations and restaurants we may want to stop at for lunch. They really made the whole adventure stress free which in turn made the whole day more enjoyable for our family. Waters Edge Marina will definitely be #1 on our list of things to do when we come back to Lake George next year. read more

Everyone at this family owned business is so kind and friendly. We went in at the end of the season when most business owners are getting tired of the general public and they were so sweet to us. We rented a boat from them to go out on the lake. Once Jason learned it was our anniversary he gifted us with yummy breakfast sandwiches and since we were the only ones there first thing in the morning he even asked what kind of music did we want to hear on the Alexa :) We sat out on the second story deck while they prepped our boat. We had a great experience renting at Waters Edge. I did a lot of research before coming here. They are the most fair with pricing, they are in an excellent location and the service is excellent. They had a deli and drinks right on premises so that was great to bring lunch on boat. We rented the 17' bow rider. 2 adults and 2 kids. Waters Edge is the Best! 1) The family that owns/runs the Marina were so great. I had left my phone on the boat and had to leave town shortly after they closed that night. They found a way to get in touch with me and mailed my phone to my home. (They refused to accept my offer to cover postage- so grateful.) 2) The boating Experience on Lake George is second to none- and these guys did a great job preparing us, and the boat was clean, fast (enough), and fun. They even threw in a tube to float around on in the cove. 3) No exaggeration- The on-site deli made the best Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich I've ever had, and the hoagies were fantastic as well. Had such a great time and I would highly recommend supporting this family business when visiting Lake George. This was my 3rd visit to them, and I will be sure to return next Summer. read more

Highly recommended!!! If you are looking to rent a boat on Lake George, look no further than this Marina. Family-owned (amazing, respectful, and definitely patient!!) business which also doubles as a cafe. They have practically new, safe boats which are fun and easy at a very affordable price. If it's your first time renting, they'll run you through a small safety course and tell you the best places to boat to. No better way to experience Lake George. They were very kind to my friends and I, made us feel like family and that's what I had to come back a few times and I'll definitely be coming back more often! read more

We stayed for a week in cabin 3 at the Waters Edge Marina and it was the best place we have stayed at in a very long time! The cabin was clean and very nice for the four of us (including two teen boys) and had every thing we needed if we had decided to cook in. However, with all of the great restaurants in Bolton Landing, Lake George Village, and beyond, cooking in was only done once. And that consisted of a quick grilling on the two gas grills by the in ground pool. On the subject of food, we had a couple of breakfasts and a lunch from the deli in the Waters Edge office. Delicious, with the eggs cooked just right! The portions were perfect, too. Not too filling, but just enough to fuel up two ravenous teenagers before hitting the sights. Manners count too: Say "hi" and be especially polite to Lori, who was on the grill and treated my son to a little something extra, because he "was so polite!" All of the people (I can't really call them staff because they were so nice and polite and helpful that I felt I was staying at a friend's place... only more comfortable... and not on his couch!), were knowledgable and helpful. They offered tips on everything from fishing to boat rentals to food. The real test of any establishment is what happens when something goes not as planned. One of the ac units crapped out in the boys' room. Buddy had it replaced and up and running almost before we got back from mentioning it to Linda in the office. To Linda, Lori, Jason, Buddy, and all the rest, I can't say enough nice things about our stay. Thank you very much. And we we look forward to future visits in the Lake George region! read more

We spent a week in Bolton Landing on vacation (July 2021) and this was one of many experiences that helped make our trip memorable. We are not from the area and not too familiar with boats, but rented a boat for a couple of days and this was a place where we went to "dock and dine". It was easy to pull up to the dock and they helped us tie up the boat. It's a family-owned place and the folks working there are friendly. We ate some delicious burritos and my son liked his so much that he got a second one! This place is so cute - right on the river near the bridge to Hotel Saranac. They also rent out some classic cabins that look well-maintained and are very close to the lake. read more

Would highly recommend you pay them a visit. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with hospitality and kindness. We went in looking for information about boat rentals and also ordered breakfast and lunch to take on the road. As it is their busy season, the boats were already rented, but Lauren went out of her way to help us try to secure a boat for the next day. They also would not let us pay for the food we ordered (delicious egg sandwiches and mile high turkey sandwich, prepared by her daughter!) We ultimately decided not to rent the boat and called to let Lauren know. We again tried to pay for our food over the phone and they wouldn't allow us to. We called yesterday and were told to call right at 8am for a boat rental since they are first come first serve. We called a few times b/c the voicemail kept coming up and since we're in the busy season, we didn't want to miss a chance at a boat rental. When someone answered the phone, I was greeted with "Good morning Water's Edge, to the person that keeps hitting redial..." I hung up b/c I just didn't know what to say to that. My friend called b/c I didn't want to speak to this woman. She was immediately told that all boats were rented already... at 8:05... I don't want to assume that that was a lie since my friend and I have the same area code. But if you actually were sold out, I don't think the attitude was necessary when I called. For the rude factor alone, would never give them business. read more

I have been coming to Lake George for years with my family and we have always stopped at The Waters Edge Marina. Great family run business that offers a gas station, boat rentals, and deli. We picked up a few sandwiches and some gas not to mention their alcoholic ice cream pops ! YES BOOZE ICE CREAM! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rented a pontoon boat here for the afternoon, and I couldn't ask for better service. These guys got all the paperwork done in five minutes, the rates were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. They were upfront about what I could expect for gas prices and usage, and they were spot on. If I ever return to the area, I'll be sure to come back here. Also, awesome sandwiches at their deli! We rented a motorboat yesterday. Not only was the lady so sweet, she gave us such great information about the lake and all the markers. I wish I had gotten her name. Thank you sweet lady! The boat was in very good condition. They tied a tube on for us and my girls had the best time. They give you you a large cooler filled with ice, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. Driving from New Jersey to Montreal, we checked out Yelp for eateries along I-87 and found this place. The 1/2 lb burger is excellent. Sweet potato fries are super as side order. To top it off we got $3 off coupon from Yelp. Doesn't get any better. read more
