While the home has impressive size and amenities on paper, the overall condition, cleanliness, and maintenance issues significantly detracted from our experience. The disappointment started before we even entered the home. As you pull up, you're greeted by an overflowing dumpster and landscaping that appears neglected. For a property marketed as a premium vacation destination, the first impression was underwhelming. Once inside, it became clear that the property was not being maintained at the level we expected. Cleanliness was one of our biggest concerns. There was a dead mouse floating in the pool upon arrival, an infestation of lovebugs in the Xbox/game room and other areas of the house, and the property generally appeared to be in need of a deep cleaning. We also found a used Band-Aid inside one of the blankets in the "Operation-themed" room, which immediately raised concerns about housekeeping standards. Many of the sheets were old, heavily pilled, and worn. A red flag for us was being asked not to strip the beds because the linens were supposedly "bag washed." Unfortunately, the overall condition of the bedding did not inspire confidence in the property's cleaning standards. The laundry facilities were also disappointing. The washing machines had a strong unpleasant odor, only one dryer was operational, and drying cycles took an exceptionally long time. Many of the advertised amenities were either unusable or poorly maintained. Most of the games in the Xbox room did not work. The outdoor recreation equipment was not ready for use, with many balls completely deflated and unusable. Those that were salvageable required a hand pump that we had to locate ourselves. Several outdoor games were covered in wasp nests, making them unsafe or impractical to use. Considering the additional amenities fee charged with the rental, this level of neglect was particularly frustrating. The pool itself was a huge hit with our group, but the surrounding area showed significant wear. The pool deck was peeling, sticky, and appeared to be in need of resurfacing. Both the pool area and many of the outdoor amenities would benefit greatly from maintenance and updating. The pool (and the rest of the property) are misrepresented on the website. Several of the mattresses throughout the home were worn out and noticeably sunken in the middle. This created comfort issues for many of the adults in our group and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. One thing prospective renters should know is that despite the size of the house, there is no true central indoor gathering space where a large group can comfortably congregate. Most of our time together was spent in the kitchen or outside by the pool. Additionally, despite the request to remove shoes indoors, the floors were dirty enough that many of us felt more comfortable keeping them on. To be fair, there were some positives. The property manager was kind, responsive, and genuinely tried to accommodate our concerns. She even arranged for pizzas to be delivered as a gesture of goodwill. While appreciated, that gesture barely addressed the extent of the issues we experienced during a stay that cost (redundancy alert) ~$12,000. The house is spacious, there was plenty of hot water for our large group, the air conditioning worked very well, and the pool was enjoyed by everyone. Overall, the property has tremendous potential because of its size, layout, and amenities, but it is currently in need of substantial cleaning, maintenance, and updating. At its current condition, we do not believe the experience justified the price we paid. Future guests should carefully consider recent reviews and ask detailed questions about the property's upkeep before booking. I only wish I had taken more photos, as many of the existing reviews do not accurately reflect the current state of the property.

There is a small one in Gulfport but we decided on St. Pete Beach to visit. There are multiple places to eat and listen to music. We also found a place in Gulfport hat has music on Sunday afternoon. The house was clean and well stocked. I didn't see a firepot but everything else was there. One tip though. If you are short ask them to remove the topper on the master bed. We literally had to climb in and pull each other up. kind of like a comedy routine but the bed was so comfortable that was just a small thing. Love the terazz floors Throughout. And the whole house is clean. Really clean. That's a big plus for me. We will be back.

Decided to take a couple days away by the beach with GF and kids…read more First, let me start with the bad. Stay with me here, because the bad are so minute compared to the good, it didn't affect my rating. I'm just being really picky (but if you've read my reviews before, you know that's the way I am ) We got there at night and drove from Brandon. When you get off the highway and head towards this place, you start wondering if you made a HUGE mistake, as the neighborhood you have to drive through looks sketchy. With that said, I know that St. Pete area can literally go from bad to million dollar houses from one street to the next, and sure enough, a few miles before we got there, we crossed a major road, got into Gulfport, and it was gorgeous. It was hard to see the neighborhood driving to the house, but found out the next day it was beautiful and very safe, which made me feel a lot better since I was there with my 7 and 9 year old kids. The house was not lit and neither was the numbers, so we drove by a couple times as we were not sure it was it. From the outside, it didn't look like anything special. Going inside the house, we didn't know how to get the wifi info so we had to contact the rental company. It was 11pm so didn't expect a response until the next day, but he responded right away. There is a binder with all of the info you need about the place, WIFI, neighborhood, restaurants, menus, etc..., but it wasn't marked, so we didn't know to look at it. When we did, the wifi network it told us to connect to didn't match the ones available. We figured quickly it was a typo, and connected fine. Now for the positive. As I mentioned, it didn't look like much from the outside, but when you walk in, all I can say is WOW!!! It has obviously been completely gutted out and renovated recently, and it is GORGEOUS! Decorations are tasteful, appliances are brand new, lighting, bed, bathroom, TV...Absolutely beautiful. Felt very cozy. Temp was very comfortable and even throughout the place and was adjustable. As mentioned above, owner responded almost immediately to questions, and that binder was full of great info about the area. There is a covered outside porch with a swinging bench, and large table and chairs, as well as lights you can change colors by downloading an app on your phone and play music through. We ate dinner there the second night and it was very nice and peaceful. The area couldn't be better. Beach is straight down the street about 1/4 mile walk (you can see it from the outside of the house). If you walk a couple streets over, there are a bunch of shops and great restaurants as well as a small casino by the beach. All the shops were in houses, and all houses in that area are old, but obviously all renovated beautifully. It was like walking around a town in the early 1900's to 1950's (some were big 2 story houses with balcony's surrounding the house on both floors like old plantation houses). Everyone was very friendly, and prices of restaurants are very affordable (most around $10 to $20 per person). In conclusion, we LOVED the place. Very quiet, very comfortable, super clean, responsive owner, and great area. We will DEFINITELY be back.
