I'll start with the most positive attributes of this restaurant in Bar, and that falls solely with the bar. Both bartenders were very friendly and attentive. They immediately sent the tone of a quiet comfortable environment. Quick service with both drink and food. The food itself was less than stellar. I had the happy hour coconut, shrimp, and chicken tenders on one night, and they were mediocre at best served lukewarm. I wouldn't really order either dish again, truth be told. Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant portion itself was quite wanting, slow and unattended. We had a member of our party, joined late and didn't see the server again until she was delivering our meals, which was when our friend got to order. Unfortunately, once again, the food was lackluster. We were staying at the hotel for the week, so we did try this place a few times. Again, the Bar staff was fantastic and the drinks were quite good, but the food was just not special. Yes, by chance, if we stayed at this hotel again. I would definitely give the restaurant another shot just to see if it was a one off with staffing. And the food was by no means terrible, it was adequate. read more

First, no one came to service our table after they were told we were being seated by the window. We wanted to just leave, however we paid $18 in parking alone (what a scam). I'm so disgusted; I can only order soup to get out of here. I just feel so disrespected after being ignored. It's a beautiful restaurant inside of the Sheraton hotel. It's too bad they don't have the appropriate staff. We had to have the bartender as our waitress. We found her in the kitchen getting someone else's food. How nice! She apologized and had the audacity to ask if we already paid for parking. This made us think she would have told us to leave if we didn't pre-paid the parking. It's a shame because we were looking forward to some good food and service. I think they need new management immediately. I gave one star to post this sadness. read more

Getting into the hotel was either on the far side or by the waterfront but you had to know the door/or have a key card which opened to the back of the restaurant. Ambience was nice for a hotel restaurant. Water views were pretty. There was a lady singing in the bar area which could be heard in the later evening. Staff didn't look so happy and they had poorly printed xerox copies of their menu which was odd. The drink menu had multiple stains on it so it was pretty gross. We were seated awkwardly close to another table whose chairs nearly hit our table. The shrimp Alfredo was quite tasty, plenty of cheese. The crabcake burger was cold though tasty. The sliders were good and the fruit cup decent. The bar ran out of ginger beer so it was replaced by ginger ale but the old fashioned was good. The bill was super weird, he gave us someone else's order totally itemized wrong but tried to convince us the totals were the same. Not sure what that was all about. Good location decent food. Waterside Seafood Company is located inside the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. There is an amazing view of the water and ships while dining inside. The hubs and I checked into the hotel around 7ish and was looking for food to nosh on. Since this bar/ lounge/sort of restaurant was conveniently located without having to leave the hotel we tried it. It was moderately spacious with tables that were filled with people. The bar had limited seating with a bartender taking drink and food orders. There didn't seem to be anyone approaching tables to take orders. They could be experiencing a worker shortage, so this is where people need to exercise patience. The hubs and I ended up at the bar trying to get the attention of the bartender. He was a bit occupied finishing off conversations as the catching the eye, head nod, slight hand raise went ignored. So we just waited since we were hungry. Finally, we were given a paper menu of what food offerings were available that evening. One order of buffalo wings for me, and a crab cake sandwich for my other half. There was a wait time of 25- 30 minutes for pickup, so we went back upstairs to relax. The hubs went to collect the food, and we immediately opened the containers ready for us to devour. The wings I would say was the type you would buy in the frozen aisle. The ones where you bite into, and all you get is the breading and no chicken. The blue cheese was left out unfortunately. The service here was amazing! I wish I could remember the two guys that waited on us every time we ate dinner. They were so positive and gave us great vibes. The food was delicious and the my red sangria was Phenomenal. I honestly was not too pleased with rooms but they were just meh... The beds were "lumpy" and housekeeping barely understood a thing I was saying. They only clean or provide towels if you requested. I think if you stay as long as we did then they should at least offer towels,I mean we do bathe and shower. Honestly we will stay across the water at the Renaissance next time and maybe eat here if the two nice guys are still working in the restaurant. Last week during my 6 night stay I came here a couple times and I will say I never had a bad meal. But I will review one of my visits. I came here on a busy night and sat at the bar. Still had a great view of the water. My bartender was Felix. He was very friendly, knew a lot about the menu, and making drinks. Never had a problem chatting and always gave fantastic service even when it was very busy. Seriously one of the best bartenders I've ever had. Hands down!!! Onto the meal. For starters I decided to order the Fried calamari. Wow this was good, full of flavor, and it was a huge portion. It was sprinkled with cheese and came with a nice dipping sauce! For my entree I ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla. It was served with salsa and sour cream. Let me tell you, this was very good. Cooked perfectly inside/outside and full of flavor. From The two types of melted cheeses to the roasted red peppers and onions. So good, I should have added the guacamole. With the huge portion of calamari I couldn't finish my entree but I def saved it for later. Next time I'm in the area I will def be coming here again. A+ service and A+ food! read more

We are staying at the Sheraton hotel and I paid extra for the room to include breakfast each morning. Our experience was unbelievable. Our first morning, Monday, June 13, was a breakfast buffet which you would think would be excellent. But so wrong. We we sitted and asked what we would like to drink. Coffee and juice please. That was the end of our good customer service. We went up to the buffet and there wasn't much. The scramble eggs were gone, so I asked a wait staff. She informed me it was not her job. Okay, I asked another staff employee and they pointed to the omelet station. In other words... no one cared. The customers in the restaurant started pouring they own water and sharing their concerns about the wait staff too, I've never been to a restaurant where no one really cared. The gentleman next to me shared he'd been waiting, and waiting for his check so he could leave. He also shared about the night before sitting in the bar area and received his glass of wine 20 minutes later. I'm not to sure why the Sheraton is allowing this to happen. The next morning Tuesday, June 14th was great! There was a different wait staff working and the food, service was incredible. MiMi, visited each table to make sure we had everything we needed. Our waitress gets a 5 star for making sure we had coffee, juice and made sure to come by to check on us. What a difference a day makes. Read the YELP reviews. This is a very nice hotel, clean rooms. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the recent dining experience I had at the restaurant within the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel on the evening of 9/10/23 On 9/10/23 my colleagues and I visited your restaurant for what we hoped would be a pleasant dining experience after a very long and stressful day. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, it became evident that the service we received did not meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. Firstly, we were kept waiting at the table for an unreasonably long time before anyone acknowledged our presence. When we were finally seated, it took another considerable amount of time for our server "MIA" to come to our table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed disinterested, inattentive, and rushed, making us feel like an afterthought. We had to actually get up from our table to go and look for her even to order. Furthermore, the quality of the food was far below our expectations. Not only did the dishes take an excessive amount of time to arrive at our table, but they were also cold, and some items were improperly prepared. I ordered the pan seared salmon and asked our waitress "Mia" if I could substitute the side dishes then thoroughly discussed how I would like them prepared. Mia then agreed that it could be done and our order was then submitted. We asked Mia our waitress if we could then dine outside on the patio of the restaurant due to the temperature in the restaurant being uncomfortable and she told us "she does not serve outside and that she could put our ordered in to go containers" we agreed to this however after seeing the unsanitary conditions of the outside dining area where there was used plates, dishes and glasses with ants we decided we would endure the conditions inside and returned to our table. Once our food arrived over 45 mins later in to go containers we still tried to enjoy our meals however mine was not prepared not only as I ordered but did not include any of the embellishments, condiments or sauces states on the menu. I also was only substituted one of the requested sides. I then asked to speak with our waitress "Mia" to notify her that my order was not prepared correctly. She then said that "she could not substitute" at this point our entire table was confused as they all witnessed our conversation about how I would like to substitute and how I would like it prepared. I addressed this with MIA with a very calm and compassionate tone however she became enraged and combative. She mumbled that "she didn't have to deal with this shit" and stormed off as were trying to come to an resolution. At this point after much patience and restraint we asked to speak to a restaurant manager. The manager (whose name I didn't get) came to the table I then explained the situation again in a very calm tone. He also said that "there are no substitutions or it would be an up charge" I explained to him that this was not what was communicated to our dinner party but had it been communicated I would have adjusted. I told him that I the "lemon sauce" as described in the menu also was not included on my dish. "He said he didn't think they even prepared that on today" he then asked would I like it re- cooked. I asked that I just receive what I ordered. A few mins later "MIA" returned to our table in an aggressive tone to confront me about my order and again tried to challenge me on what I ordered and our conversation. I felt attacked and extremely embarrassed in front of my colleagues. At this point I asked the manager to not re-prepare the order, I was disgusted and completely lost my appetite after the emotional trauma I experienced at the hand of our waitress "MIA". We had to send back our orders multiple times, which further extended our already lengthy ordeal. From the time we sat down "MIA" was dismissive and unresponsive to our concerns. This lack of empathy and willingness to rectify the situation was extremely disheartening and added to our overall dissatisfaction. We never received an apology from MIA or the restaurant management. As patrons of the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel multiple times a year and as a Bonvoy member we had expected a certain level of service and quality that, regrettably, was not met during our visit to the restaurant. I believe it is essential for your establishment to be aware of such issues to maintain the reputation and trust of your customers. I kindly request that you investigate this incident and take appropriate measures to ensure that future patrons do not have to endure such a disappointing dining experience. Last night we were celebrating our Anniversary. Made reservations at a spot a few doors down from Waterside Seafood Co. Long story short, we walked right out and decided to find another spot to have our Anniversary dinner. BEST decision my husband made since choosing me as his wife lol. This is how we found "Waterside Seafood Company" We were immediately greeted with a smile and sat at a table with a view. Within minutes a gentleman came over to our table and poured our water. I drink a lot of water and my glass never went empty nor did I need to ask for refills. A small plate of lemon wedges was brought to our table as well. Our waitress Aliyah, approached our table within a few short minutes of being sat. Aliyah, was knowledgeable of both the food and drink menu. Her suggestion for the mule was spot on. I ordered the Branzino and my husband the Ribeye. We both loved our meals that were generously proportioned. The Branzino was cooked perfectly, the mouth watering sauce was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I overindulged to the point I was in pain from over eating. After dinner a nice walk along the water did the trick. I loved my meal so much I plan on bringing my daughter back to try the Branzino for her 21st birthday. My husband cleaned his plate and said his Ribeye was cooked as he requested and full of flavor. (YES) With a nice waterside view of Portsmouth, the Ocean, Norfolk, and the Ships, Boats, and Ferry passing by, it's easy to relax and enjoy oneself. Started the evening with a Blackberry Margarita while enjoying the Calamari and She Crab soup. The Fried Green Tomatoes and Crab Dip with Pita Bread followed and they were delicious !!! Went last night while staying at the Sheraton for Valentine's. The restaurant wasn't crowded or busy yet it took atleast 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Apps took another 30 minutes to come out after that. Will say that the whipped feta and bangin' shrimp appetizers were delicious, but Entrees were a let down. Was asked how I'd like my salmon cooked when I ordered and I said medium, received fish so well done that it was one step away from being burnt. Roasted potatoes were unseasoned. Crab cake sandwich was mushy, dry, and flavorless.Overall the staff was inattentive and the entrees were disappointing. The wait time made no sense for how empty the restaurant was. I haven't dine here in years, but that all changed a few nights ago. When I visited the time before last, the restaurant was under the name, City Dock. City Dock was awesome! The beautiful decor, the waitstaff and the outdoor seating... simply marvelous. I am not sure what brought about the name change, but recently the hotel had a face lift and I guess that called for a restaurant name change. Nevertheless, I am all here for Waterside Seafood Company. I attended a private party in which 30 guests sampled some menu items. Items included: She crab soup Crab dip with pita bread Mini Crab Cakes Vegetarian Ravioli Fried green tomatoes Calamari Key Lime Pie Classic Maragrita While I am not a fan of fried green tomatoes, I did taste the batter and it was very good. Not a fan of the calamari either, but judging the look on the faces of those around me, they enjoyed this dish. My favorite by far has to be the Key Lime Pie... very good! Just enough tang and sweetness - superb! Now, my classic margarita, ALL THE WAY RIGHT! It was so good, I opted for two on a Tuesday. The bartender, Giuseppe had me feeling super nice! The drink was perfect! The atmosphere, the waitstaff and interacting with those in charge, this seems to be a great place overall. Martha, the Sales Manager expressed her enthusiasm about the changes and invited us all to return soon. Brian, I believe he is the Restaurant Manager, super cool guy and enlightened us all about every dish that reached the table. Trina J. our waitress, super personable and her sense of humor, amazing! The Chef even took a few minutes to come out to gather feedback from everyone. This engagement showed he is really interested in making a great first impression a last impression. Other interaction with Jennifer, Lindsey and Ms. Rhoda... these ladies displayed a love for their job unlike any other. The restaurant wasn't full to capacity this past Tuesday, but the flow of guests remained steady and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The restaurant is located inside the Downtown Waterside Sheraton Hotel. With views of the Elizabeth River, one can opt to dine inside and still view the beautiful outdoors, or be seated at the few tables out on the patio. I'd recommend you give this place a try even if you are not a guest of the hotel. The restaurant offers free valet parking to all guests dining in... be sure to keep your receipt and valet ticket. This restaurant features an amazing happy hour from 5 to 7 pm. Overall, from that time years ago to this past Tuesday, I'm definitely keeping this spot on my radar anytime I am near the Waterside area. I almost forgot... live music filled the room as well. The clarinet player played along with the tunes in the background... super chic and sexy vibe! I am not sure if live music is featured daily, you may want to call the restaurant first to see. So first let's talk about the bar. I came here for an event and arrived around 30 minutes early, I decided to have a seat at the bar and enjoy an happy hour drink prior to my groups coming. I am so very glad that I did! Rusty, the bartender, was so sweet and personable. She remembered my name (and used it!), talking to me about the history of the hotel's renovations and how much she likes the new bar. I told her about my three kids and we both enjoyed the lovely view of the harbor as the rain came through. As our group arrived, we were all seated without much fuss. We were treated with the utmost care by all of the staff... the servers did a great job, managers stopped by to say hello, and even the head chef came out to ask us how we had enjoyed our food. I tried the jalapeño margarita and it was brought to me promptly and it was beautifully presented, but the flavors did not agree with my palette. They used pickled jalapeños and I could tasted more of the juice from the jar than the actual jalapeños... I think that if there were fresh jalapeños, it would have been fabulous. We tried a little of everything. By far, my favorite was the calamari and marinara sauce. It was perfectly crispy and flavorful! The only dish I did not particularly enjoy was the pita bread and cheese dip. The dip cooled too quickly and got too thick to dip the soft bread in. I did not take away any stars for the "less enjoyable" aspects because there were things to balance them completely... I had a couple of beers I enjoyed immensely prior to the marg, and the food was fantastic except the one dish. :) I expect that this will be a LOVELY date night when I get a chance to bring my husband back and very much look forward to the opportunity. I would also count this restaurant in if I needed a place to bring a business meeting, an important group, or a nice family gathering! Went there for the Yelp elite event, everything was out of my expectation. The food are amazing, the hospitality and service are amazing, everything was just amazing! This place is huge and beautiful, the chairs are comfortable, the bar area has some tvs playing sports, there are some outdoor seats but it was raining the day of our visit so nobody were sitting outside, there was a man playing an instrument on the side, the whole atmosphere is very good and it's not too loud. We had the She Crab Soup, Calamari, Chesapeake Bay Drunken Crab and CheeseDip with Fried Naan Bread, Fried Green Tomato, Chesapeake Bay Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, and Key Lime Pie with Key Lime Mousse, and I had the blueberry margarita. The She Crab Soup is my favorite dish overall. It's so creamy, rich and flavorful. It would be even better with some bread or crackers. The Calamari is nothing special, the sauce could be more flavored. The Chesapeake Bay Drunken Crab and CheeseDip with Fried Naan Bread is my second favorite dish. I didn't know the name of the dish before I did this review but I can tell it has some alcohol in this rich flavor of crab and cheese dip. The naan bread is soft and taste good with this dip. I would recommend it to be a bit more salty however. I'm not a fan of the Fried Green Tomato because it has feta cheese since I don't eat feta cheese. If I ignore the feta cheese part it is a good appetizer. There are some sweet sauce with diced tomato on top of the fried green tomatos so it's very appetizing. I think I'll order it without the feta cheese when I'm by myself. The Chesapeake Bay Jumbo Lump Crab Cake is my third favorite dish. The crab cakes are straight crab meat, not like some restaurants who put flours and vegetables to make them bigger so they can fet more profit. Since it's an appetizer, they are one-bite size. It comes with a sweet sauce but I'd prefer just lemon so it won't cover the flavor of the crab meat(I think it depends on personal preference). The Wild Mushroom Ravioli is the best Ravioli I've ever had for a while. The pasta is tender but not chewy, the mushroom is soooo flavorful, the only thing is the sauce is kind of blend. After addjng some salt it tasted good. The Key Lime Pie with Key Lime Mousse is very refreshing. The shredded baked coconut is a good paired with this dessert. The decoration and way to present is also pretty. The Blackverry Margarita is strong but it's lacking a bit of sweetness. The staff member are very friendly and helpful. The lady who served us is the most friendly and funny server I've ever met. The other young man who served my drinks was nice too. After checking the menu and knowing the prices were actually not crazy high like other hotel restaurants, I would definitely come back in the future for these good food and drinks and good service! read more

I visited the bar here to have a few glasses of wine and some food. There was only one other patron at the bar and the restaurant was completely empty. No bartender or staff in sight. I waited an uncomfortable amount of time before being helped. Upon leaving, I accidentally dropped my empty wine glass and it broke on the opposite side of the bar. A true accident. The bartender (who wasn't at the bar, awful service) comes from behind screaming at me "why did you do that!" "Why did you do that" I was very confused and asked her if she thought I did it intentionally to which she said yes, she believed I did it intentionally. She continued to curse me out. What a disaster. I asked to speak to manager, he was nearby and heard me and he said "yeah I'm the manager you not gonna get any help from me" I said ok who's your manager? And I ended up talking to another manager who I explained my story to. He did nothing accept nod his head up and down. This place sucked. The staff is never present and very very rude. Of ALL the Marriott-associated hotel restaurants I've been to (and make no mistake, as a Titanium Elite member, I've been to a lot), this is the absolute worst. For reference, my experience was in April 2019. 1) For starters, after standing at the front waiting to be seated, my mom and I were eventually "greeted" (if I can even call it a greeting) by who looked to be the manager. He grabbed some paper menus and seated us. The paper menus that we were given were just that- paper menus. Not the fancy, presentable paper menus that all the cool restaurants are doing- 8.5 x 11 letter-sized paper menus, WITH STAPLES! I'm sorry- I'm looking for a menu, not someone's double-spaced, 12-font essay. While this was disturbing enough, I looked around to find that everyone else in the restaurant (I counted 8) had the portfolio menus. Really? 2) My mom and I ordered the Tuesday special rib dinner. We waited 40 mins. Let's think about this: 10 patrons in a restaurant at 8pm on a Tuesday. Not a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday- a Tuesday. HIGHLY unusual and completely unacceptable. We would've been justified in leaving. 3) The food, after finally receiving it, was very disappointing. I took a bite of the ribs only to discover that I was eating a mushy bone. I had to scrape away the BBQ sauce to see what I was dealing with and was just disgusted. These were not quality ribs at all- they were over-processed and lukewarm. The consistency of these ribs, at best, were similar to McDonald's McRib, with mushy bones. My mom and I, to our regret, ate as much as we could and our stomachs paid for it later. The steak fries were fine, but then again, how can you mess up frozen packaged fries? If we're ever in Norfolk again, we'll skip staying at this hotel in general. The funny part? We decided to stay here instead of the Norfolk Waterside Marriott; we had the best lunch at the Marriott, so we definitely missed out. read more

I ate at this restaurant while staying in the hotel. I was told they would give me 20% off due to a deal they had with my company. This was true however it was still not worth the price for the quality. bottled beer is eight or nine dollars and draft beer is nine to $11. That alone is incredibly expensive. I had a $19 fish and chips that tasted like it was microwaved captain Gordons and the fries were cold and soggy. The place does have nice ambience and very clean, however. Late night meal at this restaurant inside the Sheraton Waterside. The food was so good, but portions were small. They were pretty empty so we were seated but had to wait quite a while for service, not sure why. Our server was super nice, friendly and we enjoyed her. Found this dirty, rusty metal thing in my salad. The waitress is very helpful and friendly and also attentive. The staff was apologetic about the mishap, brought me a new salad, said dessert would be on them. I ordered the crab stuffed flounder and it was amazing. My friend had the salmon and mashed potatoes and loved it as well. Mia, the waitress, was awesome. The cheesecake dessert was great and the molten cake was slight over cooked, but good as well. read more

It is amazing when you live in a place you never sample what they have to offer until you come back. I enjoy seafood and if you enjoy it also I will highly recommend the Waterside Seafood Company. Even though the menu is not as numerous in items as other places it is one of those menus where everything looks so good just from reading it. If the menu does not have you wondering what you will eat taking a peek at the various dishes from others enjoying their meals will. Before going I would give a call to see if they are running some happy hour specials as there seems to be a bit of miscommunication on the times and days since various employees said contradicting times and days. I am still trying to figure it out. Anyway, it is still good to call or checkout their menu as some items are only served during certain hours and some are seasonal. This was the case of what I ordered since it is only offered during dinner hours. I went with the crab stuffed flounder that comes with two sides. The portion size was very generous and I would say that they would give a place like Bone Fish Grill a run for their money. The flounder was covered in a lemon butter cream and the stuffing was like having a crab cake stuffed in the flounder. The sides were surprisingly good also as I went with rice and peas and collard greens with pork belly. The greens with pork belly were a pleasant surprise. It is a simple dish that many attempt but get wrong. The flavor was good and it did not require any extra seasoning for me as far as some vinegar or salt. So glad my dinner companion picked this place as it was a top pick on my recent visit to the Hampton Roads area. A perfect place for after work drinks or date night. It offers a view of the Elizabeth River and parking is validated when eating at this venue. read more

Seafood done right! This restaurant really does seafood right. My boyfriend and I visited here over the summer and enjoyed the broiled seafood medley platter consisting of grouper, shrimp, and scallops which came with two additional side dishes. I had the she crab soup and we split the campfire chocolate s'mores dessert. SO tasty. The cake almost tasted like a spiced pumpkin. Was a nice surprise. Server checked back on us about 3-4 times before we even ordered because it took awhile to decide. We appreciate her attentiveness. Will be back the next time we're in Norfolk. read more

First time visiting this restaurant. I stopped by the bar at 12:25am after calling the lobby/front desk & being notified the last call was at 12:30am!! The bartender, Rusty was cleaning and setting things up for the next day. She greeted me and right away got me a beer. She offered a menu and suggested a few things. I ordered the seafood/clam chowder based on her recommendation and it was simply outstanding! Rusty was super friendly considering she was about to close, provided superb service and was very pleasant to talk to. Great Job Rusty!! I can't wait to return and try one of the many dishes on the menu. This restaurant opens at 6am for breakfast and provides lunch, dinner and late service up until 12:30am. Great job guys! read more

We brought visiting family here for what we hoped would be a delicious seafood lunch! We were told no white fish. And we at 12:15 were told we could not get a beer or glass of wine until 3:00 , because... The waiter told us "people take a table and stay drinking beer until they are drunk!" Say WHAT???? Plus we waited forever for salads. Two got their orders and two of us waited another 20 minutes for a salad! It was just an awful experience!!!! read more

The restaurant has a very pretty atmosphere both inside & outside seating. I had the Reuben and sweet potato fries which were delicious. Also highly recommend the crab soup. Our waiter was Jeff and he was so great. Would go again :) read more

I've been here a few times during a long-term stay at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel, which it adjoins to. As hotel bar/restaurants go, it's pretty decent. The only full meal I've had is the steak frites, which was mediocre, but the sweet potato fries are outstanding and I've gotten several orders to go since then. The beer selection is great as well, but most of them run about $7 -- pretty standard for a hotel bar but pricy nonetheless. Staff is attentive and service is quick. read more

Maybe it is an obvious; looking back it is to me, but DO NOT order the raw oysters. I love them and didnt know whether to quickly chew and swallow or spit it out. Never in my life have I been so appalled by a peice of food. Honestly i dont even send food back, unless it is undercooked chicken. I had a cup of soup because I didnt want to look bad for not eating the oysters. It was good. I'm sure the rest of the food was too, but I didnt even ask where the oysters were from. My mistake. It killed my appetite. The service here is always terrible though. I tried to eat here a few weeks ago but the lack of service at the bar was so bad I ended up walking our before I even got a glass of water or a menu. ...I should've learned. read more

Was staying at the hotel and went downstairs to get a drink. I was there at 11:54. The bartender pretended she didn't see me and another patron had to tell me they were already closed. All the bottles had already been put away, so they had clearly been closed before I even got there. So much for being open until 12:00am. read more

Ugh this review is so hard to write ... this restaurant has so much potential ! However, service was very slow. The oysters on the half shell (on the happy hour ) were not good. They almost tasted "wet". They were actually dripping as if they were sitting being defrosted, leaving a very unsatisfying taste. I couldn't even finish the 4 it came with. The She crab soup is incredible but I miss the spinach and arugula salad and pecan crusted grouper filet.... instead I had the crab stuffed flounder filet. It wasn't bad, but unfortunately not 5 star worthy. It's a shame because I've had better experiences here, hopefully it was just a bad night and not the direction the restaurant is going. read more

Posted lunch sign said open until 2pm. I showed at 1:40. Host said, only open for takeout orders....okay? Looked at the lunch menu. Zero, not one, no seafood items on the menu. But if you want a to go burger or salad, this is your place. Surprised Sheraton allows a crappy place like this to lease space in their hotel. read more
