    Fried calamari
    Ryshema F.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pleasure of visiting to celebrate my Bishop birthday and they did not disappoint. The service was welcoming and hostess was great, he presented a warm smile and very pleasant and took care of our needs and took his time to go over the specials and everything. The view and atmosphere was beautiful sitting on the water and visual of the boats, the decor was nice. There were so many different choices I didn't know how to decide. I ordered four different things lol but I didn't get a picture of the crab cakes or steamed shrimp but they were okay, the fried calamari ((delicious) streamed shrimp (delicious) oysters (delicious). They also gave us some cheesecake and it was delicious (that's my favorite) I absolutely will be going back to try the rest of the stuff I didn't order.

Had a good afternoon church meal at Bubbas and their food was very good. I got the fried cod and mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. The crab meat mushrooms were excellent with lemon juice. The fried fish was pretty good to and tasted like salty cookies. Service was good, my server brought my food within a reasonable time and was very friendly and nice during my time there. I like the ambience of the place as well because it feels like a nice place to watch the water and see what is happening in the bay. My recommendation would be that this place is good for a nice date or hangout with someone.

Soooo good!!! We only came here for drinks but because it was still nice out, we opted to sit outside and have a few drinks. We ended up having the whole back patio to ourselves. Our waitress was nice and attentive without being hovering. The hours are great for locals. Looking forward to coming back soon!!!

The ambiance and scenery are everything. You can sit right on the water, take in the view, and just enjoy the vibes. Inside, the restaurant is spotless (which I pay close attention to), and the service matched the environment, friendly and attentive. The happy hour and drink specials were amazing. I went for a catch-up with one of my homegirls, and we ordered some drinks and appetizers to share. I'm a total sucker for calamari, and Bubba's did not disappoint. The drinks were on point, strong to feel it, but not overdone. To top it all off, I was lucky enough to catch a few dolphins swim by while we were eating. It honestly made the whole experience.

I have been to this location many times. Historically the service is always great and the food too. Today I had the crab cake sandwich with a cup of soup. The she crab soup was delicious. The crab cake sandwich needs work. I didn't even eat half of it. Just had no taste at all. However, my family had the rock fish and mahi. I tried both and they were delicious. Just need to work on those crab cakes.

We went to bubba's for a work dinner on a Wednesday. There is a parking lot that is shared with other businesses but it was plenty big. It was beautiful outside so I expected the restaurant to be busier but it wasn't. We walked in and got a table by the window. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and honestly they were the best thing I had - full of crab and seasoned well. The cole slaw was really unique - crunchy and fresh. You mix in the sauce yourself so you can adjust as you prefer. The fries were really good (crispy and well cooked), but definitely needed some salt and pepper. The crab cakes were ALL crab which is awesome. I wish they had a little more seasoning but that's just a personal preference. They have a great selection of fish and crab, so if you want seafood you should definitely check this place out!

The food was scrumptious. This is my first time, trying a soft shell crab, and it was cooked to perfection. I love the crispiness of the crabs and the flavor was exceptional. My waitress was so helpful and professional. I did not have to wait long for my food which was a major plus. Now the food was delicious, but the ambience was perfect. This restaurant overlooks the water and I enjoyed every moment of it. I will definitely be returning because there's so much that I would like to try. My drink was adorable with a little duck inside. Plus I was able to customize my entrée. A great time was had.

We took advantage of a beautiful October afternoon and came here and sat outside. They do have indoor dining too. We were sat right away. Keep in mind that if you sit closest to the water the speakers are right above you and the music is loud. Yes....I am showing my age. I do wish it wasn't quite so loud but I am not old enough to complain.....yet. :) Lots of seafood options and lots of fresh fish. The menu is small and not super casual. Meaning that there are no tacos, nachos etc. I had my heart set on fish tacos but there were none. I did get the shrimp cocktail and a baked potato. Others got a meal with 2 sides. She chose halibut. And the other person got a crab cake sandwich with fries or coleslaw. FYI...if you like orange crushes with crushed ice this is not the place. Our waitress was very nice although it took awhile for our food to come out. Everything was good....no complaints. The presentation of the shrimp was mehhhh. But I did love how the coleslaw was served. It looked really nice. Beautiful views. And they have daily specials like Ladies Night on Tuesdays with $3 champagne and on Wednesday they have $6 Crushes and Sangria. Definitely worth a visit.....you can't beat the views and the seafood is fresh.

Gorgeous water views!! Delicious food and family atmosphere but romantic at the same time- especially in the evening. Very friendly staff Highly recommend the crab cakes and shrimp.

Had a wonderful family dinner here during the holidays! This place has it all - delicious food, festive cocktails, amazing service with super-friendly staff, and it's right on the water! We will definitely be back during the summer to sit outside and watch the boats go by!

I ordered the Black and Blue burger with sweet potatoes waffle fried, and my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. I got my burger with a little pink, and it was cooked to perfection! Sometimes I am hesitant to get pink because it's been to raw. The burger was not only cooked to perfection, I really loved the bleu cheese sauce and grilled onions. The waffle fries with the cinnamon/brown sugar sauce were great as well. My son also really enjoyed his burger, but he did say his fries tasted like shrimp. I tasted them, and they didn't taste like shrimp but they did have a distinct taste. I can't really describe it, but I didn't like it. Otherwise we had a great visit, one of the best burgers I've had, and really good, quick service! I am sure we were in and out in under an hour with everything still being super fresh!

I walked in on 12/3/25 with excitement and anticipation. Boujiee is a tiny place - they could easily be mistaken for a simple bar. Their interior, though, looks modern, organized and clean. Plus, it's well-lit, so it definitely doesn't have that dark look and feel of a bar. Upon entry, a server quickly greeted me and told me I could sit anywhere. She was kind and helpful, and immediately knew it was my first visit. When I confirmed that notion, she proceeded to give me a rundown of the entire menu. She didn't have to do that, but I felt like ordering everything afterwards because everything sounded amazing, haha. I settled on a soda (which they sell in bottles), a couple of bottled beers, the Dougie Fair Dog and Corned Beef Fries. Boujiee's glizzys are meals - each item on their menu is full of ingredients and toppings. Normally, I can devour 2 hot dogs in a single sitting, but at Boujiee you better be hungry to finish off 2 or more. The Dougie Fair includes spicy Polish sausage, grilled peppers, onions, melted cheddar and mustard, all on a hoagie bun. Dougie had some kick, so it wasn't super spicy, but I definitely enjoyed this item. I also had the Corned Beef Fries (crinkle fries, corned beef hash, cheddar, fried egg) which was as hearty as it was delicious. I was barely able to finish them both, but they were so good I almost had to. Based on this visit alone, Boujiee Dogs is a five-star food spot. Along with the impeccable service, this may become a part of my food spot rotation. I look forward to many future visits. Thank you, Boujiee Dogs! JV

We arrived about 4pm and the parking lot was kind of full but it still was a spot available for us. We walked in was greeted promptly and we had the option to sit inside or Dine Outdoors...knowing myself I love an outdoor adventure so outdoors we went... The Hostess mentioned they have a bridge that was open as well and I believe the bridge is open on Fridays and Saturdays if I'm not mistaken ... nevertheless we decided to dine on the bridge this past Friday. Omg so so so in love!! I can make this review probably about 2 pages long but I'll cut it short for you. Our super cute waitress Haley was the best... attentive informative personable a gem and made our first experience all the more amazing. We did ask for suggestions... she made suggestions for us... I ordered a cocktail and my bestie ordered a beer. My cocktail was just ok but he loved his beer of choice. We didn't want to order anything that was going to be heavy so we decided to split the Godfather Pizza and OMG it was so good so good. We knew we were returning before his departure. Here we are again Sunday during brunch hours and this time we invited another bestie it's a trio yes! We arrived about 2:00 p.m. and still decided to dine outdoors. I believe the bridge wasn't open for whatever reason on Sunday nevertheless we were able to sit on the patio. Our lovely waitress Katie was super as well. Haley and Katie kind of look like twins so I was like okay this experience will probably hit the same as Friday and needless to say it did. Katie was super awesome as well ...super attentive super patient I mean New River these two ladies are keepers and Katie shared with us that she's getting married soon so congratulations again pretty girl. Even though brunch was taking place you are still able to order pizza from the lunch / dinner menu. We ordered the Godfather again of course we ordered the chicken Parmesan pizza I forgot the name of that and the Hawaiian pizza all of them were good but my favorite on this go around was the chicken Parmesan pizza. I ate all of it even though we did share slices amongst us all the Godfather is definitely a close second. We tried the Mimosa flight it was okay I'm not a mimosa girl but the other two in my party they enjoyed it. I did have a glass of the Pinot Noir wine I'm definitely a red wine girl so the wine was right on time...right up my alley. We decided we love it here and when my bestie is visiting from Florida he already said this place is a must dine. One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list.
