I stopped in yesterday, 3/16/22, and they give me this BS story that all of the registers are down, except 2, but I can still download the app and also save ten dollars. People should seriously contemplate the kind of world we are moving in to, where we are all pawns lying to each other, to further enslave ourselves into the automated digital system. This type of system eliminates jobs, and feeds into the surveillance state, by tracking everything we are buying. Customers should be treated like people, as opposed to a commodity, where everyone's personal data is collected and sold off as a product. Now, if what I'm saying sounds a little crazy, let me ask you a question: In a nice world, do we flagrantly lie to people that registers aren't working, making people wait 30 minutes to check out of the store if they don't embrace your new technology? If this happens to you, and you care about living in a future where we still love each other, and treat people with real dignity and respect, I recommend shopping somewhere else. Don't allow the system to force you into their authoritarian nightmare world. Rather, you force them to be more caring about their employees and customers.

Stop & Shop in Hadley is a large full-service grocery store that covers most everyday shopping…read moreneeds, with a broad selection of produce, packaged goods, household essentials, and a reasonably sized deli and bakery section. We walked into a layout that is familiar to anyone who shops regularly at Stop & Shop locations, and the store generally carries enough variety that most shoppers can complete a full grocery run without needing a second stop. The store's selection remains one of its biggest advantages. We found everything from specialty sauces and organic products to seasonal items and household staples, which makes it a more practical option than a local market for a full cart of groceries. The produce section was well stocked on our visit, and the deli and bakery offered enough variety to cover both quick meals and planned cooking. The online ordering system and pickup service add convenience, though we have not used it extensively ourselves. Across different visits, the biggest criticism is around consistency rather than product quality. We have noticed that sale items are occasionally out of stock, checkout lines can move slowly when only a few registers are open, and certain departments can become understaffed during busy periods. Those issues are not dealbreakers, but they are worth factoring into the timing of a trip, especially on weekends or holidays. For a large format grocery store in the Hadley area, Stop & Shop delivers on selection and convenience, though the experience can vary depending on the day and time you visit. Planning for a slightly slower checkout and checking stock availability for sale items ahead of time helps smooth out some of the friction.

Miss real butchers but plent at Whole foods (sales) or Atkins? Local farms are good. Big Y has the best grocery/meets but less saving, Aldis has by far best pricing but limited choice! at $100/2000 a week making it a quest, can save thousands?
