The same goes for the fresh fruit but not as bad. You have to check the dates on the self-service deli. The Hot Bar is also trucked in. On top of this their bakery selections are very limited and they have almost no healthy baked goods any more. 50% off on deli and bakery seems like a great deal until you realize that your getting old food. Does Amazon care what WF has become? Apparently not. Until more people realize that this is Whole, Not So Fresh, Food, nothing will change.

This kind of counter is what I've missed after moving up here! Nice selection of grocery staples with an emphasis on local/regional producers where possible. There's a small but solid selection of natural health/beauty products and gifts, too. "Well-curated" is a running theme, as the beer section stocks a ton of nicer local brews I can't find at the major chains here. The staff is helpful and friendly without being overbearing. It's definitely a worthy detour if you need groceries and are in the area.

I stopped in yesterday, 3/16/22, and they give me this BS story that all of the registers are down, except 2, but I can still download the app and also save ten dollars. People should seriously contemplate the kind of world we are moving in to, where we are all pawns lying to each other, to further enslave ourselves into the automated digital system. This type of system eliminates jobs, and feeds into the surveillance state, by tracking everything we are buying. Customers should be treated like people, as opposed to a commodity, where everyone's personal data is collected and sold off as a product. Now, if what I'm saying sounds a little crazy, let me ask you a question: In a nice world, do we flagrantly lie to people that registers aren't working, making people wait 30 minutes to check out of the store if they don't embrace your new technology? If this happens to you, and you care about living in a future where we still love each other, and treat people with real dignity and respect, I recommend shopping somewhere else. Don't allow the system to force you into their authoritarian nightmare world. Rather, you force them to be more caring about their employees and customers.
