I booked a same day appointment online which was easy to do. However, next time I'll book via phone since Dora gets so busy she may not have time to check appointments online. My appointment started at 3pm but I arrived 20 mins early. Dora was able to take me early so I started my appointment at 245pm which I appreciated. I was taken to a private room with a very comfortable massage table. The temperature in the room was great too. Dora provided a fantastic massage with great pressure and got rid of all the tension in my body (and I had a lot). She worked so hard the entire hour of my appointment and maintained the pressure the entire time. She is a miracle worker!!! I also could not believe how much tension I had as she was going through each part of my body. I am going to schedule another appointment soon and will no longer wait years before having another massage. Once I met with the aesthetician, she told me that a chemical peel was "bottom of the barrel" and "a waste of your money, because you're going to be disappointed with the results." She then recommended $3800+ worth of moxie and other services, none of which could be done during my appointment. She also said that after those recommended treatments I would still be disappointed with the results, and would need additional expensive treatments. I left feeling very disappointed and self-conscious. I do appreciate the honesty of this conversation, but it was still incredibly disappointing and wasted my evening. It kind of felt like the aesthetician just wanted to be done with her day. It also felt like they were using the visia results to scare me into buying their treatment plan. At no time was anyone rude, she was very kind and direct. I've had an excellent experience with a hydrafacial in the past at the spa. I think it would be beneficial for them to ask what your skincare goals are, instead of just assuming that you're looking for flawlessness.
