Pros: Food is good, prices are reasonable, it's open until 3 am in a quiet area and it's great if you don't want fast food late at night. Cons: the inside (at least floor wise) is very hole in the wall, there are cracks on the floor but I'm guessing they will get it fixed in the future. There was an ant on the floor one time I got here but I think it came from outside. I had a piece of Tandoori Chicken that tasted undone but it could me be. Overall a great place to go if you're in Richardson since not a lot of places are open late unless you want McDonald's or Jack in the box.

You can never go wrong with a combo shawarma plate when the late night munchies hit. This place is one of the rare late night spots that isn't whataburger and provides a variety of options for you to choose from. I really like the dish mentioned above and think the portion is large for the price! The interior of this restaurant is also clean and service is fast:)

Was in the taste of some halal and decided to come here since they were one of the only ones open in the area and it was new so figured to give it a shot. The place is definitely big inside with plenty of booths and seating and open space, im assuming it gets crowded at night? The prices were listed clearly but on one menu a salad is $13 and the other it's $12. The reason for the 3 star rating is because I feel the portion size for the lam is SMALL. i know I ordered it over lettuce as it was late at night but got $13 I feel like it should have been more especially compared to other Greek places like halal grill etc. it tasted good though but might give it another try with the rice next time to see if it's a difference in portions.

Not sure why it's a 4 star. This is the holy grail of halal. Way better than the buffets or other a là carte places. I went at 11pm. One other table was here. underrated!

This Mediterranean/Halal joint serves food so deliciously and conveniently late until 3AM!! There's no filler in their protein and the seasoning is so spot on you can smell it as soon as you walk in. The red hot sauce is hot but depending on your tolerance level, I've think it is good enough to be able to still enjoy the food and always served on the side. The Beef Schwarma wrap is served with a side salad and Mediterranean fixings - they all go so good together! The Combo Platter had chicken and beef finely chopped up served over a bed of rice and so well seasoned and very filling! While we there ordering, another lady came in to order her dinner because she loved it so much at lunch time. Great eats!!

Food was delicious, as was the sauce. Large clean area. There was a decent amount of wait time. Lots of parking.

Prior to driving there, I call the restaurant to ask if they could accommodate me -- and they said yes. I got the chicken ramen and subbed for katsu protein, shrimp tempura, karaage and milk tea and my friend got the black garlic ramen. The karaage came out tossed in a an acidic sauce with sesame seeds -- almost like saucy wings. This caught me off guard because the menu does not indicate it would be covered in sauce -- and we didnt want it sauced. Shrimp tempura had 3 shrimps and the rest vegetables. Another surprise because the menu listed shrimp tempura as an item on its own, and then another line item for vegetable tempura. My assumption is this is a cost saving approach -- and while I have no problem with that, transparency would be good for customers. Just list out what is included in the dish so no one is surprised. The ramen was disappointing. The broth came out clear (like water -- i wouldnt dare compare it to pho because pho broth is packed with flavor). There was absolutely no flavor. It was the only ramen on the menu that I could have (again not what I was told when I called). I asked for soy sauce, chili oil and even dumped the leftover sauce from my tempura into the liquid broth and still it could not be saved. The black garlic broth was also bland. Neither of us finished the meal. Service was slow, only one girl working the entire dining room, (it was a weekend so packed). We waited for a while, they forgot my milk tea and it was impossible to flag the waitress until the very end. The only plus, they are extremely generous with the eggs.

Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.
