They advertise "on the water" but they have NO on the water location. In fact they do business out of the parking lot! Watercraft adventures has several "kiosks" or locations up and down the Laughin area on the river. We rented from the booth in front of the Colorado Belle. The booking staff and the technical staff that got us setup ont eh ski were both nice. However, the girl at the rental kiosk would not let me use the Yelp coupon that came up when I checked in at the location, claiming it was not their coupon? Might have been my mistake. I do have to say though that the gentleman that got my brother an I setup on the ski was very nice, super helpful and very accommodating. We will be back next year most likely and I look forward to renting from them again.

- Disappointing Experience & Questionable Charges…read more We rented a pontoon boat from Sandbar Powersports for two days, and the experience ended very poorly. When we returned the boat, we were told the propeller was damaged. I've owned a boat and worked with prop repair shops before, so I know minor dings like this typically cost around $150-$200 to fix. However, we were charged $350, which felt excessive--especially since rental companies usually get better pricing. To make matters worse, staff couldn't keep their story straight. One person said the prop needed to be replaced, then another said it was just a repair. That inconsistency didn't sit right. They also charged sales tax on the repair, which I don't believe is applicable. It wasn't about the $27--it was the principle. I even called local prop shops afterward and confirmed pricing was much lower than what I was charged. From the beginning, I had concerns. During check-out, they pointed out every small scratch on a boat that already had significant wear (over 1,300 hours). It felt like I was being set up for a charge. I understand paying for damage--but this felt more like price gouging than a fair resolution. Not how you treat customers. I won't be back.

We couldn't even make it out of the dock wake zone without it nose diving on us (we had 4 adults, 1 child and a baby), which is funny because they had mentioned to us before leaving the dock that the new outboard was a little too powerful for this boat so to take it easy. When we called back and told them to come pick us up because the boat was having problems the owner talked to us like we were stupid and had no idea how to drive a simple, basic pontoon boat even though we've been driving speed boats for over 20 years.... not to mention the owners too fat of a cheapskate to have appropriate trailers, towing his boats. literal two by fours screwed into the trailer to hold the boat up. When we got back , the owner was already on a sick one & dismissed our concerns. this business is a joke and has gone downhill over the years. rent literally anywhere else. i'd steal a f*cking boat before doing business here again. if the owner wants to keep his last 5 teeth, i'd suggest taking up better customer service.

We waited for our turn, finally around 2 we were told they sold out all of their seadoos! Keep in mind, there were about 20 of us, set up with all of our stuff on the beach. We asked for our money back and asked if we can just stay on the beach and the older caucasian man said pack your s*#% and get out of here. He even called Securty on us for THEIR mess up!! He also yelled at 2 other couples not with us. We had to pack up all of our stuff in 108 degree weather with 3 babies and 8 small children all exited to ride the seadoos. It seems like they are just trying to make a quick buck and take advantage of people. They ruined our family vacation!
