I was dining in the restaurant with my husband and daughter when I witnessed the entire interaction. A customer had placed an order through DoorDash but never received it. After becoming frustrated because DoorDash was not resolving the issue, he came into the store visibly upset. Although the situation was outside of Jaelynn's control, she remained calm, empathetic, and respectful throughout the entire interaction. Rather than becoming defensive, she listened to the customer's concerns, diffused the situation with patience and grace, and did everything she could to make things right even though it wasn't the store or her fault. Her ability to stay composed under pressure turned what could have been a much more negative experience into one that reflected positively on the restaurant. We didn't wait long before our food was delivered to our table. We got two kids meals and also a chicken sandwich and fries. Everything was tasting fine up until my chicken sandwich had a mushy spot in the middle. The texture and color was completely off compared to the rest of the sandwich and made us concerned. I brought it back up to the front to let them know to see if anyone else had that problem and if we could switch it for something else. The manage ignored my concern about the texture of the meat but said we ate too much of the sandwich and couldn't do anything about it.
