My review is going to be based on the experience between 2 different claw arcades. This one is def bigger and has more games however after spending 35 coins, I managed to win just 2 small Keychain dolls. Most of the dolls were at the bottom of the floor and we hard to get. Alot of them we pushed into each other making them harder to grasp. I even managed to grab one perfectly only to fail because the Keychain was interlocked with another doll. Upon inspection, there were 2 other dolls interlocked as well. Now my experience at the other claw arcade was more successful. With 35 coins I managed to win 7 bigger dolls and like 4 Keychain dolls. Between the 2 arcades, I noticed another one would regularly replenish the dolls so they were stacked higher. None of them were interlocked or pushed down on each other. This made the chances of winning alot higher. Spending $30 and allowing your customers to be successful will not only gain you return customers, but you'll still be profitable with more success. Normally I don't like to review places with low stars unless I believe they're bad businesses but I thought I would atleast share my experience so that they could improve. read more

Clean, cute and fun place located on Western and Carson in the same plaza as Momo Paradise and Daiso. We got 75 coins for $60.00. I felt some of the machines might not have been working properly, the claw would grab the plushie and as soon as it got to the top it would release it? After $120.00 our kiddos still walked out with 8 plushies. Haha. The kids had a blast! 1 coin per game which is a steal compared to some other places we've been to. Very friendly staff. It was a fun way to spend some time while waiting to drop off a friend at LAX. People at the counter were really nice! To win bigger stuffies you can trade in smaller prize winnings from claw machines. Didn't win enough to trade in all at once? They offer a stamp card for every trade until you get enough! In terms of difficulty, I think the machines' difficulties are fair. You have to try and strategize to win. It won't be entirely easy but it is not impossible! Got to visit twice within a week and both times did not disappoint. The first time was a Saturday during their soft opening time frame and I got to meet one of the owners (I wanna assume haha). His name was Daniel and he was super friendly and funny! The second time I came by was their actual grand opening day on Wednesday! I really love claw machines so when I found out there was one opening by in the South Bay I was so excited. Wawa Claw does not disappoint. The vibes are vibing and everyone that works there is awesome. There are plenty of machines to choose from which include both regular size plushies or the smaller keychain ones. We were in the area and this was our first time here. It's located in a large lot with lots of restaurants. They open everyday from 11am-9pm, but Fridays and Saturdays close at 10pm. Starting from $20, they'll give you extra tokens. I like that you can trade up from 2, 8, 12, and 18 plushies. They even have Stanley's for 12 plushies! Or it's a dollar per token and each game costs a token. You just can't trade up with the tiny plushies. They accept card and cash. There's a gender neutral bathroom. I honestly don't like the claws had none of the plastics at the tips of the claw and the second the claw hits the top, the plushies will slide out so quickly. If you ask nicely, the employees will fluff up the plushies in the machines for you. The employees were really nice about it! We actually just wanted the Digimon plushies and the plushies with the buttcheeks haha. We had fun. Don't forget to check in on yelp for an extra 2 tokens. read more

Pretty fun place for the kids but beware the $1 tokens goes really really fast. We got $30 worth and it felt like we were done within 10 mins. We didn't have much luck that night seems like everytime we grabbed a prize as soon as the arm goes up it jiggles and it'll let go of the prize. read more

Now, my oldest is 6 and got 7 on his own. My daughter who is 3 got 2 on her own. My 2nd son is 5 and got 3 on his own. I helped them with the rest. If I did all the games, I can guarantee I could have gotten way more. Bottom line, machines are NOT rigged. Try playing at tokyo central or even nijiya. Now, those are rigged especially at Tokyo Central. Even denny's have them rigged and that's why you pay $20 and it's a guarantee to win. If anyone is complaining about not winning, it's their skills. I was the queen of claw games as a kid and won 9/10 including gold necklaces and watches at vegas. I'm out of practice and can help my kids win this much. That's not rigged. You need skills to win claw games just like any other games. If you're looking for easy win, i'd say pay the $20 at those claw games at denny's and you can win something. read more

But one thing I will say is that the claw machines are probably broken or their just making it 10x more harder for you to catch stuff. I was trying to get a plush at a claw machine at the corner, I perfectly got it but all of a sudden right when it hit the top it just fell. Basically, unless you find something you want, try to get it on the internet or expect to pay over 20-30 dollars trying to get 1 plush.
