Very nice and clean bowling alley, was my first thought. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a really nice time. We were here for a friend's birthday its a plus when parties at these type of locations run smooth. As a parent I really like the size of this place. The Bar, arcade, lanes are all just in one spot. (Leftside) I did see two bars one on each side. They we're having an issue with the beer on tap! It was 1pm on a Saturday. Who is drinking already??? Lol anyways bottled and can available... :) and mix drinks. The food was ok. Pizza , wings the regulars and a few other items. I ordered cheese fries. Very basic. They we're OK. They did have these pancakes French fires, with white powdered sugar and syrup. Those were yummy!! Kids had a great time bowling and at the arcade. Earn tickets and there's a machine to redeem prizes. Restrooms in the corner to the right when you walk in.

I felt safe. Restrooms were clean. Bowling was fun. Glad to see security there. It was packed and then it wasn't. It was an overall fun time. Lots of parking. Lots of food and drink options. Bowling price was pretty pricey. Nevertheless a good time. Staff was quick to serve and with all smiles.

Lucky strike bowling alleys are always nice, the only issue I had here was the service. We waited 30-40 minutes for a cotton candy lemonade.

Came here for a birthday and I am so glad that they have more staff. The restrooms are clean and everything is out in a timely manner. Their systems now let you add bumpers for kids on their turns and you don't have to have the bumpers on for your bowling. Great experience, hope they can maintain it.

    Awful customer service!

Waited for my drink for 40minutes (BTW ITS JUST A FOUNTAIN DRINK!!). Talked to 3 people about my drink and nobody even did anything. I asked for a refund and never heard any single word! NO SORRY OR ANYTHING! This is one of dude that helped, but never SAID ANYTHING! SHAME TO THIS PLACE! It's a nice place, but the workers are for sure GETTO!

Overall the place was pretty good it has a nice vibe with all the lights. But for one drink which was the cotton candy lemonade it took about 30 minutes I feel like they could do better. Also they were rushing us out. But the lemonade was pretty good would recommend it! (just not the wait for it)

The decorations on a simple family game night was a nice touch!

We booked online for a same day 2 hour game for a party of 6 at the Torrance location. It was an easy process. Check in was pretty easy as well - just gave my name and soon enough we were being handed our shoes and our lane. We had a couple of staff come to our lane to help with our food and drink order. Both were served in no time. We ordered the pizza and margarita pitcher combo, the Alley Sampler and another pitcher of beer. Food was good and served hot. They even added cute decoration to our lane table just because. Sometime during the game, the balls started getting stuck in the back of the pins but as soon as staff noticed, they quickly sent a technician to fix it. The technician even came to ask us if our scores got messed up. I also noticed that there were a lot of staff that night who were making sure that lanes are clean and people were being helped. After bowling, we headed for the arcade where we got to play a few of the games. The game machines were all working fine and the arcade area is clean as well. It was a last minute family game night decision that turned out to be really fun! Thanks Lucky Strike Torrance team!!

Are the pins on strings? I believe they are at the Mar Vista location so checking here. Thanks!

No, I don't believe they are on strings. You might want to call them to be sure. Have fun and best of luck.

Of course, it was ninety degrees when we visited, and I can't tolerate heat well, but nothing was going to stop me. To start off the day, I wanted to use the restroom before the long walk. As I am coming out of the stall, there was a gentleman using the urinal. I flew by him and out the door! I was so embarrassed. I have never done that in my life! Can I use the cancer card?!? JK! After that, we started searching for the hidden trolls. They give you a nice map, and you follow the sparkles. It is truly magical. I don't know what it is, but I turn into a little kid when I see them. Luckily, we hardly saw anyone, probably because of the heat. The trek back was rough for me. We saw Lexi the Ranger, and she let us hop on the golf cart and take us to the entrance. Thanks Lexi, you saved me! If you can't tolerate heat, I would wait till maybe the end of September maybe then it will have cooled off. There are twelve trolls hidden throughout the beautiful gardens. I highly recommend visiting. 8/30/26

Not as much variety as The Huntington, but honestly beautiful in its own right. I love to pop in for a relaxing walk through the garden or even a quick "hike" through the trails. I wish the koi pond was larger though! It's always nice to see them whenever the area is open. They extra events that they hold are always really wonderful. Their SOAR exhibit is my favorite, I have been going yearly now since I moved to the south bay and it's 30 mins of pure bliss sitting in their enclosure and sharing their space. Their parking lot is very big, I don't think I've visited when there hasn't been a spot available, but I can definitely see it getting filled on busy days.

The service was excellent, and the management team was friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating. Every request we made was handled promptly and to our complete satisfaction. The venue itself was perfect for our event. It features two clean and convenient bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and seven spacious round tables that comfortably seat up to 10 guests each. Each table was beautifully dressed with linen tablecloths and elegant floral centerpieces, adding a refined and festive touch to the celebration. The artistic décor throughout the space creates a warm, stylish, and inviting atmosphere that is ideal for special events. We also appreciated the thoughtful layout of the venue, including a comfortable sofa area located along the hallway leading to the kitchen and restrooms, providing a relaxing space for guests to socialize. There is a dedicated area for a DJ, which worked perfectly for music and entertainment throughout the party. One of the highlights of the venue is its beautiful wooden dance floor. Even with all seven round tables set up, there was still enough room for dancing and mingling. Since the space is also used for ballroom dancing, it offers an open and welcoming layout that accommodates both seated dining and dancing comfortably. Accessibility was another major advantage, with ample public parking available nearby, making it easy for guests to attend. We were also pleased that post-event cleanup was included in the rental fee, allowing us to fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about cleaning up afterward. Overall, the venue exceeded our expectations in every way. From the exceptional service and accommodating management to the beautiful décor, functional amenities, and spacious dance floor, everything contributed to a memorable and stress-free event. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-maintained, and professionally managed space for a birthday party or any special occasion. We would gladly rent it again in the future.

She worked her social skills and made friends (which was a first at an indoor playground). It was nice to see parents truly there for their kids. I like that there are cameras in every blind spot. One can watch their child from the cafe table area on the screen. The cafe was such a treat! It was nice to grab a bite to take a break from play time. The kids pancake breakfast and was hearty like we made it at home, with the minnie pancakes, eggs and bacon. I had the spam musubi and it was so good paired with my vanilla latte. I also had an americano and it was sooo good! The service was great and it was an overall enjoyable experience.

I've been coming to Looma for years and perhaps that's the problem. I remember what this place felt…read morelike when I first discovered it. It was genuinely impressive. Someone had clearly thought about the experience. A beautiful indoor space, imaginative little environments, places for parents to sit, decent coffee and food and enough visual restraint that you didn't feel like you'd voluntarily locked yourself inside a plastic primary colored migraine for two hours. With small children, this is no minor achievement. There still aren't many places like it in the South Bay. Which is probably why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, Looma today feels less like a premium children's space and more like the aging remains of one. You begin noticing the little things because there are so many of them. The projector by the ball pit stopped working ages ago. Other play features are broken or simply gone. Toys and foam blocks migrate around the building and apparently establish permanent residency wherever they land. Some surfaces are sticky. Vents and edges look like they haven't met a cleaning cloth in quite some time. Rooms sit unused and closed off. On our latest visit, even the bathroom was rough. None of these things individually ruins a children's playground. Kids are extraordinarily talented at destroying civilization. I have two. I understand. But maintenance is the business. If you sell a premium environment for children, the product isn't the slide you installed three years ago. The product is the slide today. The clean bathroom today. The working toy today. The stocked refrigerator today. The employee who appears mildly pleased that you've entered the building today. That last part has always been Looma's strangest weakness. Service ranges from indifferent to occasionally miserable. There have been exceptions the woman I've repeatedly encountered handling the cafe has always been genuinely sweet and helpful. But overall there's very little hospitality in a business ostensibly built around families spending time there. And when the place is crowded, all of these little failures compound. Our latest visit felt badly oversold. Not enough seating, exhausted parents orbiting tables waiting for somewhere to land, children everywhere, broken or neglected equipment and a staff seemingly resigned to surviving the shift. Then you remember what you're paying. Once admission for two children, food and drinks enter the equation, this stops being some scrappy neighborhood playroom where you forgive the duct tape and missing Lego pieces. Looma calls itself an upscale indoor playground. Fair enough. But "upscale" creates an obligation. It means someone has to care obsessively about the boring things after the beautiful launch photos have been taken. That's what frustrates me most. The bones are still good. The original idea was good. Even the food is surprisingly decent for an indoor playground, with some Korean options mixed into the usual kid fare. My children can still have a great time here. But children having fun is an extraordinarily forgiving metric. Give them a cardboard box and seventeen minutes and they'll establish a functioning municipality. Adults notice the rest. Looma doesn't need another attraction or themed event. It needs somebody to walk through the building slowly, look at every surface, every broken feature, every empty refrigerator shelf, every neglected corner and start caring about the details again
