Sometimes we get on a kick and try difference places to bowl. We are not good at all, but it is fun and there really is nothing to break there. We love this Lucky Strike in Torrance. It is so much fun. If you go during off hours you can get on right away. Otherwise, best to call and make a reservation or at least find out they crowded they are. It is great for kids and adults. They also have wonderful arcade games the everyone will love. Parking is easy and the place is kept so clean, even the seats. They really keep up with it and it is so well maintained. They also have great snacks and food. We love their pizza, it is priced right and very tasty. My grandson loves their chicken tenders and fries. They also have great burgers and we love their hot dogs. It is a tad pricey to bowl there, but worth it. It is just a great place. read more

Haven't been here since it was Bowl-a-rama!! What a change and in a good way. Staff still friendly and accommodating. A spontaneous trip to the bowling alley turned out to be a life long memory. This was my 6yr old niece first time bowling. Lots of kids were there bowling and it's very kid friendly. The lanes have buffers when they play and even the lil cart to help them bowl. Theres also arcade games and two bars. Great place to have a party or get together. read more

Very nice and clean bowling alley, was my first thought. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a really nice time. We were here for a friend's birthday its a plus when parties at these type of locations run smooth. As a parent I really like the size of this place. The Bar, arcade, lanes are all just in one spot. (Leftside) I did see two bars one on each side. They we're having an issue with the beer on tap! It was 1pm on a Saturday. Who is drinking already??? Lol anyways bottled and can available... :) and mix drinks. The food was ok. Pizza , wings the regulars and a few other items. I ordered cheese fries. Very basic. They we're OK. They did have these pancakes French fires, with white powdered sugar and syrup. Those were yummy!! Kids had a great time bowling and at the arcade. Had a Groupon. Not a good feeling when you see 2 heavily armed security outside. Waited at the bar for my lane. I asked for a beer and the guy bartender gave me a big sized beer. He wanted to get $$ I asked for cheese fries twice. Never got them. He was rude and the place was super expensive. Left after 2 hours. There was a metal detector outside. Yikes. It was fun but some of the arcade games are in dangerous places, i had to run to get a ball at the clown game that bounced off and almost ran into someone, and skeeball is right next to the kitchen exit, also, almost every game there, like the claw machines, the punch game, the cut the rope, and the key one. read more

Overall the place was pretty good it has a nice vibe with all the lights. But for one drink which was the cotton candy lemonade it took about 30 minutes I feel like they could do better. We booked online for a same day 2 hour game for a party of 6 at the Torrance location. It was an easy process. Check in was pretty easy as well - just gave my name and soon enough we were being handed our shoes and our lane. We had a couple of staff come to our lane to help with our food and drink order. Both were served in no time. We ordered the pizza and margarita pitcher combo, the Alley Sampler and another pitcher of beer. Food was good and served hot. They even added cute decoration to our lane table just because. Sometime during the game, the balls started getting stuck in the back of the pins but as soon as staff noticed, they quickly sent a technician to fix it. The technician even came to ask us if our scores got messed up. I also noticed that there were a lot of staff that night who were making sure that lanes are clean and people were being helped. After bowling, we headed for the arcade where we got to play a few of the games. The game machines were all working fine and the arcade area is clean as well. Long evening for kids to behave well and my kids were doing just that but even kids have limits. To reward my son with being good through an impatient night at Lucky Strike, he asked for a milkshake and we said yes. It was NOT a busy night but we had to ask what was going on twice, took them 15 minutes to tell us they ran out of milk, asked for water, 15 more minutes of nothing. My son was thirsty, I go to my car to get water for him. Security gives me crap because it's a metal water bottle and I ask for manager. The whole time I am just asking to go in as my son's been waiting for over 30 minutes for a drink. The whole time 3 security guards who wouldn't let me in with WATER FOR MY SON was acting like I was a high level threat. Manager comes out after 10 minutes of the guards acting bravado and he let's me in, immediately with no issue and even offers to get water himself to which I said, "Why I have it here," (in reference to the bottle that I was eventually LET IN WITH). NO WORD WAS EVER MENTIONED ABOUT THE BOTTLE BEING AN ISSUE AS THE MANAGER SAID I COULD COME IN WITH IT, NO WORD WAS MENTIONED ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE MY SON WATER WITH SAID WATER BOTLLE. As I was giving the water bottle to my wife ALL THREE security guards left their post outside and eventually ONE MORE all ran over and snatched the water bottle out of my wife's hand saying she couldn't give my son water. OH WHAT FXCK?! The manager came with water and was very confused why guards were being so aggressive towards my family. More employees entered the scene adding their unneeded presence including one who offered water in a jokingly sarcastic manner during this whole scene to which I told him to "Fxck off," and that hurt his little feelings and he went to open his mouth so I let him have the pleasure of returning my shoes instead of me walking them back. Security did the exact opposite of what they are there to do. They instigated this escalation and when upon realization THEN tried to explain everything. When approached with the scenario in reversed and asked if they had children...silence and the dumbest of looks on their faces. All three had no problem mouthing off to one woman and viewing her as some sort of physical threat the with way they acted, like a bunch of ICE rejects. The moment I stepped back in the conversation they were so ready to play cowboy. Glad they got to look big in front of each other, sorry your egos got hurt because of a father trying to give water to his 6 year old son who had been waiting over 30 minutes for a drink. I love the ambiance of this place! My kids loved the bowling! We would definitely go back. There are plenty of parking, there's a bar, restaurant inside this facility. The lobby has some loud music playing, however after check in and you go to your lane, you won't hear much. There are big screens, projecting shows, we watched the Dodgers game live. read more

We went with the pizza and margarita combo as well as the Alley sampler and another pitcher of beer. The food was served in no time - served warm and tasted good. The pretzel was cooked just right and the fries were so addicting. If I could suggest anything, it would be too serve the pretzels with warm cheese dip. They had a lot of staff that night, which made sense for a Friday. They were visible everywhere helping people with orders, cleaning up, and just looking out for anyone who may need help. Which was good for us because once our of the staff noticed our balls stuck in the back, they immediately sent a technician to fix it. He even checked in with us to make sure our scores did not get messed up. They decorated our lane, too, which was a surprise and added a personal touch. After the game, we proceeded to play in the arcade. The machines we played were all working fine and the area was clean. 1. Pricing very deceptive for the occasional player. ONLY online you can book 2 hours' time slots in advance. Walk-ins have to pay per game/person at a ridiculous rate. E.g., I pay ~$100 for three people playing only 2 games as a walk-in (including shoe rental). Those can be completed in ~30 minutes depending on speed. Reserved online I can get two hours for three people for the same price. Meaning I can have easily 4x the games (again depending on speed). Also, even though lanes are available, you CANNOT reserve online anymore ~2h in advance. I think those are SHADY business practices. 2. The lady with the big forehead I believe she was a supervisor. Terrible job, she doesn't like her job is rude. Asking for simple things and what I get back is attitude and a nasty face. This was my first and last time coming here. If you don't like your job maybe should have done better in life. She had a striped tee shirt, glasses, and a mass forehead.
