I go to the Wawa a lot so this is a one off, but I visited Wawa, paid for my drink, and waited 11 minutes before somebody made it. There was not a single person in food or drink for 10 entire minutes. It was to the point that we had to complain to the cashier because other people were waiting, and there was nobody to be found. I don't know if it was between a shift change, but there needs to be a better management of checking for orders when you step away. read more

This place is in a convenient location and the service is pretty quick. But this quick service seems to come with a cost. Unless it is corporate rules, they need to learn how to take their time and make a sandwich. I have ordered the lunch special twice with chicken salad hoagie and both times thru just put ONE scoop of chicken salad in the middle of the roll and don't spread it . How difficult is to make a Ham and Cheese sandwich on white bread. First of all, I think it is a shame to have to provide detailed directions to make a sandwich, such as 2 slices of bread down to close the sandwich however I guess not... when I opened the wrap they used the ends of the bread! This Wawa can't follow an order to save their life. Order a BLT with Mayo and I get just a bacon and mayo sandwich on barely toasted bread. Order a chicken finger/mash bowl with a bbq dipping cup and they slather the bbq sauce inside the bowl. Plus they looked both looked inedible. This is truly the slowest Wawa that I've ever visited. Extremely slow food service and rude employees. My husband and I waited almost 15 minutes for two sandwiches, and when they came, they weren't even made correctly. The employee working at the food prep area could not even be bothered to fix it. We were completely disgusted. That was the last straw - as we have come to this Wawa many times and have waited for a very long time for even the simplest orders (like a toasted bagel, SOUP...oatmeal... things that aren't too complicated...) so....get ring up at a register that has no bags ..cashier doesn't help ,but rathe rsays "think there's bags over there "while pointing to another register..mind you we have $24.00 worth of stuff ..which in wawa may be only one bag but still ,we had 9 items ..couldn't he just get us a bag ? there was no longer me behind us ,plus he just walked away .. Typical Wawa except that I feel like the service is slow and the food is poorly prepared, and when I went it wasn't even prime time. My sandwich was very sloppy and half of the ingredients were falling out of the sandwich when I went to unwrap and eat it. The parking lot can get pretty congested. Least favorite WAWA in the area for one reason...PARKING LOT. You have to go on a round-about first to get in the entrance. Half the time there is delivery truck blocking half the entrance. You can't really see what's going on behind you when you are pulling out of a spot. Pedestrians watch out. And you too lady who wasn't waiting for a spot, but blocked in 3 cars and sat there. They made a nice BLT sandwich today though. No scrimping on the meaty goodness. read more

This WaWa has done the impossible: they ruined their own concept. The parking lot is a nightmare, but at least it's hard to get into. Once you're in, it's difficult and confusing to drive out. When you go inside, there's a bottleneck at both entrances, AND in front of the deli, and then you try to pay. GOOD LUCK. You can only buy tobacco at one register, which is a horrible system. The staff at the old location was great, but they're overwhelmed now. I went this morning for coffee and a sizzli. I left with only coffee.. There were ZERO sizzlis prepared, the ordering kiosks were all occupied, and all they had were nasty hash browns. I counted thirteen customers behind me in line before anyone thought to open another register. Of course, the line blocked the exit on the way out. The VIBE: 3 Stars - First of all, I can't believe I'm actually reviewing a convenient store. I guess that's how much this place has exceeded my expectations haha. Except for the parking. Nightmare! I mean, it's still a convenience store, and the only place with a 4-5 star vibe in the country is Bucee's and that place is famous... The SERVICE: 4 Stars - I guess when you go somewhere multiple days/week for a couple months, the staff becomes very friendly/nice, but we appreciate it! The FOOD: 4 Stars - The Breakfast burritos and the Lobster Bisque are both legitimately very good! Ordering on the touch screen is super easy as well. And for price, it's borderline robbery... WORST WAWA EVER!!! Came in Friday morning to order a breakfast sandwich and discovered some items were missing from the kiosk order menu (no omelet sandwiches, no favorites). But that's ok I just ordered the scrambled egg with bacon hoagie instead. 20 MINUTES GO BY. Finally the counter person yells out my number only to tell me they are out of eggs and cannot make any more eggs sandwiches. Wow, really poor planning. Slow food service. Normally wawas have a sense of speed especially at lunchtime. Not here, no one here seems to care about people's time. Even with five people in the back my order for a iced coffee took forever. Then casually a girl walks over and places a drink down. She did not call out a number or did it have a number ticket attached like other Wawa's do. So I say to the people who are standing there what number is this and they all look at each other and one says to me well did you order a drink? How am I supposed to know that someone else didn't order a drink as well why would I pick up something assuming it's mine. So she calls back to the other girl who had made it and she says oh yeah it's this number. I can write a ton of more examples of things like this happening since they opened. today 8/10/19 i was at wawa with my friends family and we ordered from the tablets. as we were ordering the people behind the counter were commenting and making fun of our order. we recall one name may have been jared. after we ordered they only had 2 out of 3 of the cookies we ordered but when receiving the cookies we got just crumbs and chunks of broken cookies. that is embarrassing, it should not have been given to a customer it looked like trash. when receiving our order with buffalo sauce on the sandwich there was buffalo sauce all over the box. when asked for a new box he reboxed it and STILL got buffalo sauce on it because his gloves were dirty. read more

I seriously think they should shut down entirely. I got a simple hoagie the other night. Nothing too fancy just asked for turkey with pepper jack cheese and some veggies.. When I got home I was so exited to just eat my dinner while watching some stranger things. But no apparently we all can't get what we want lol one bite into my hoagie and I find a thick plastic film (sorta looked like it was a wrapper or some kind) I honestly thought I was gonna choke at first like what were they doing while making my food?? So I gutted my whole sandwich and inspected everything to find out there wasn't any pepper jack cheese, the lettuce they used was ROTTEN! Are they trying to kill their customers? And what was up with that plastic film? So I called wawa spoke to a manager and she gave me the nastiest attitude throughout our whole conversation. I just called to let her know the people making the food should really pay attention cause I didn't want other people getting the same thing I got and end up choking or maybe something worse. Management better wake up about this place. How can they mess the concept of wawa up? Bad hiring. They have an unprofessional group in there now. The guy making my sandwich was having a loud conversation with a female employee about having sex with each other. I had my 7 year old neice with me. When we walked up. Another customer was standing there. They never called out his number for his order after they were done. They just placed it on the counter in front of them. The customer asked if they had called his number. And one of the guys looked down at a sandwich, reach down grabbed it and just handed it to the guy without looking at him and walked away. No apology. The customer was clearly upset. We went to cash out after our food order, handed the cashier our receipt to scan, she scanned it, handed the receipts back to us and told us that we needed to throw the receipts in the trash back by the sandwiches. Too lazy to do it herself. We also asked for a bag and she rolled her eyes and threw a bag on the counter. Too lazy to lift the food and assist us.
