Saw an ad for the Wawa holiday brew so when I passed this location, I just had to stop. This is a nice location. Gas here is usually lower than most stations and there are plenty of pumps. Also offers free air for tires. The inside is very clean. Can be crowded in the morning and at lunch time. If the self service check out is available you can get out quickly. Nice coffee bar with many flavored coffee and creamers. The Holiday brew wasn't available so I'll just have to try again. read more

This gas station is on my way to work so it's my go-to gas station to stop at. I love how many pumps there are and that there's plenty of parking and space. It's a very roomy gas station. The gas is usually decently priced also. The store inside is also large and always fully stocked. There's never a long line to check out/be helped. read more

Wawa is a consistent place for snacks. I was on my way to bring a package to a friend in the area and I saw this Wawa...so I pulled up to get something to munch on. Their selection of baked goods are great..I had the choice from freshly baked goods to pre-packaged items. All of them looked really good, so I got one of each...LOL. I'm trying more "gas station" food because I'm looking for more options outside of the restaurants and fast foods. I ordered a cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, black and white shake, and a half gallon of Wawa's sweet tea. Everything tasted great however, I can tell canned chicken was used for make the chicken cheesesteak, so maybe they should consider renaming that. The black and white shake is a vanilla shake with cocoa powder. The staff are helpful. I plan to order here again because there are so many options and there's something for every craving. read more

Wawa continues to grow throughout Florida and that is good news for residents of the Sunshine State. I grew up in New Jersey and have been a fan of Wawa for long before they came down here to sunny Florida. So, if you are unfamiliar with Wawa, they are a gas station, but so much more. Yes, Wawa is a gas station and, like a lot of gas stations, Wawa has the usual convenience store items inside. But it is what they also have inside that makes Wawa different from other gas stations. Wawa has a food station that serves some pretty stellar food, especially when you realize that this is a gas station. This food station is best known for their subs, or as Wawa calls them, "hoagies." Hoagies are really no different than a sub. From what I understand, subs got their name from their popularity with men working in the yards building Submarines. Hoagies earned their nickname by being a favorite of the workers at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area Hoagland Island, who were called, you guessed it, hoagies. I guess the term some people in Massachusetts call what we call subs, well, they call them grinders and I am guessing they were named for the grinders that seemed to have embraced what we call subs and people around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania call hoagies. Wawa is a great place to get gas or maybe one of their hoagies. All in all, I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars. read more

Well in my visit today the cashier had a blue shirt on I think that is a manager but idk? Anyhow I went to buy cigarettes and my normal brand was out so I went with an alternative that had a sign $4.36 when you buy 2. So I bought 2 and they rang up at $8.88 and then some discounts followed but the price was still not right. He said it took off $2.33 per pack. I said well that doesn't add up? He said well "it is what it is!" Well no not really it's falsely advertising a special! I would expect that kind of attitude from just a cashier but pretty sure he was a manager! So I switched to a different brand and he just flipped the sign around when I pointed out that based on the sign they should check their math! I visit this Wawawa on a daily basis I go in and get a cuppa coffee and a breakfast sandwich and from time to time I fill up my vehicles. My problem is with the gas pumps. I pay with a credit card or debit card at the pumps and it's always always always a problem. I don't understand it. I go inside use the credit card. It works fine, I've checked with my bank. There's nothing wrong with my credit card. I've used several different credit cards. Always the same problem this morning. I used three different cards. It excepted the cards and then refused to give me the gas. I had to go inside and give them an estimate of $50 to fill my car up, then they tell me after I go outside to try to put gas in my car they're out of high test. Wawa is a great fueling station. Clean pumps, excellent security lighting and no panhandlers at the pump, distinguish Wawa from other discount gas stations. The inside offers an extensive selection of hot and cold beverages and fast food items that you select and is crafted to your specifications. The inside staff is friendly and efficient. The outside staff is monitoring and keeping the pumps clean and inviting. If you need to wash your windshield. Their squeegee and washer fluids are always filled and in good order. Plenty of pumps to serve its customers and accessible, whether your gas tank is on the right or left side...if you forget, the extra long hoses will reach your tank. So if it's your gas tank or your tummy that needs filling, Wawa is the place to fill that void. I have been a loyal customer and always seek Wawa out when traveling. read more

I was in the area, and stopped here for a moment for gas and had to get a drink for a friend. This might be my fourth location in South Florida of Wawa that I have been to. Yes, they are opening up everywhere. Of course I like them, so, I don't mind. The gas prices are competitive with the other gas stations near by. The inside of this location was pretty standard. Anything made to order, you use the touch screen monitors to order. You take your order receipt to the check out register. Once you pay, you go to the pick up area. I was only getting a smoothie but the pick up area took some time, however, it wasn't too bad. Side Note: If you get a sub or lunch etc, the voodoo chips are a must to buy. This is probably my favorite Wawa only because its proximity to my home, which is very close, some would say maybe too close. Located on Copans and State Route 7, this is probably the newest location in the region, but fortunately we've hit Wawa saturation because the parking lot isn't as nearly packed as former Wawa's have been. The one thing I always love about Wawa is that they're well-lit. Getting gas, getting a sandwich at any hour isn't an issue because it always feels safe or like someone is watching you. Another thing is that the cops of Margate always seem to be there. And ladies and gentlemen, some of these dudes are fine, just sayin'. This Wawa isn't perfect, however. I always find the checkout to be extremely slow no matter what time I'm there. Sometimes I think it's the cashier and other times it's definitely the customer so I try not to get too annoyed. The soda station is always messy, sticky, and the lids are always flying everywhere, but this is something I find to be common at all Wawa's. Had to keep an area clean when you're selling $1 sodas. The food is still as delicious as any other location. I love being able to customize my sandwich. They'll yell for you (via your number) and you'll tell them what you want or don't want. Super easy. I saw a girl once steal a few cans of beer here once in the middle of the night. Not really integral to the review, but I thought it was funny while I was there. If anything, get a pretzel, just don't look at the calorie count on the back because it'll ruin your day. Regardless of the ups and downs I will always stan hard for my Wawa. read more

I stopped in there this morning, Friday, 3 January 2025 to get gas. I went inside to get my coffee and decided to get a plain bagel toasted with butter. The coffee was great as usual. The girl behind the counter was not so friendly when I got my bagel and I sat down and opened it up. It was the most disgusting thing I ever seen in my life not only did it look gross wasn't really it should've smell was another thing on its own for a plain bagel, with just plain butter. I came in for my first visit. I have been seeing everyone at school carrying their Wawa cups in the morning. I am familiar with Wawa from visiting my daughter in Orlando. Near UCF you will have a Wawa and a Racetrac right across the street from each other. The primary reason for my visit was to get gas. I like that you can enter the Wawa from 441 and Copans road. Even though there are a lot of pumps almost everyone was taken. I found one and was pleased to see regular was priced at 2.43 a gallon. By comparison the Mobil that is the nearest gas station to my house and only a mile from here is selling regular gas at $2.65 a gallon. While filling up at the pump I heard orders of food being called. Not what I normally hear at a gas station. Once a got my gas I came inside for a look. A lot of people were at the outside tables eating. The inside looked like everyone from town was in there. Wawa sells a lot of the same things you would find at every other gas station but they also have a deli where they make sandwiches and a coffee bar. You can order your food on a screen. If it wasn't so crowded I might have tried grabbing lunch but the line was so long. I'll have to try out their food another day. read more

I wuv Wawa. Never thought I'd be reviewing a gas station on Yelp, much less their food. But more than a couple of Northeastern friends have expressed an strong fondness for this chain. That fondness, plus an introductory postcard (with discounts) lured me to this semi-'hood location. And OK, now I see why my friends see this is smarter than the average gas station. On the exterior, there's plenty of fill-up points without any of the potentially car-butting double-car lanes to deal with. The gas prices are good. In the INTERIOR, that's where you really notice the bump up. The convenience store layout is expansive but organized. The pre-prepped food looks good -- salads, wraps, etc -- as good as do their Publix's equivalent in their deli sections. But, woah, they make food and coffee TO ORDER as well, ordered by easy-to-figure-out touchscreen monitors. First visit I got the latte, and it was good. Very good. My last visit I stopped for gas before grabbing a bite before shopping and figured WTF I'd try a sandwich -- chicken salad on a hero role specifically. While the picture's pickle slices hide it, the chicken salad was actually as good if not better than tried at most restaurants -- nice and ample chunks of white breast chicken in a mild mayo base. (For any future orders, IMO the pickles were a bit of a flavor overkill.) Wawa is great, but not perfect. Much of the staff seems inattentive; I had to re-order the chicken salad when the requested tomatoes, on my print-out, were neglected (they were happy and quick to correct this). And, the tables outside, despite the "no smoking" metal decals affixed to them, don't seem to dissuade some visitors -- less a problem with the station than a few inconsiderate visitors. A bit of a buzzkill to enjoying the chicken salad sando. Plus, they have not one, not two, but at least FOUR displays of Zapp's potato chips. I have a bud in North California who may visit me just for access to them, so how can I not love Wawa? 4.5 stars rounded up to five. Suggestion to them: please police the no-smoking areas a bit better and it'll be a solid five stars. read more

Ah my Wawa. These things are popping up everywhere, really fast. It seemed it was only last month when they broke ground, and it's already up and running. This is the closest Wawa from home. But since I have a Mobil literally walking distance from me, any gas station I go to seems it's out of my way. I came with a half full tank. Still, I just wanted to check this place out. The veredict. It's OK. It is easily accessible from both 441 and Copans. The shop inside, was a little messy. Especially the soda fountain area. It needed cups and lids refilled badly. I actually had to get a larger size because they didnt have the size I wanted. It worked out in my favor actually because all drinks were the same price, but still. A standard Wawa - no issues. Clean bathrooms. This was my first Wawa breakfast. I skipped ordering a breakfast sandwich which was made fresh and instead, selected a breakfast sandwich and hash brown from the warmer case by the register - a huge mistake. My advice - order fresh. The hash browns were not very warm and were greasy, and the egg sandwich tasted like one of the frozen Jimmy Dean ones that are microwaveable (yes, I made that mistake once too.). The good thing is I hope to learn from my mistakes and hope you can too. read more

Compared to Earl of Sandwich's version it was equally good but different. Pumpkin Latte: not strong in flavor or coffee. For the price it was fine but actual coffee places are better. Salad: overpriced at $5.99. Mostly lettuce with a few vegetables and pieces of egg on top. Stick to the sandwiches and the cheaper coffee/soda drinks. This is my first time visiting a Wawa. I especially like they're ordering system for breakfast and lunch dishes. You all can go to a touch screen monitor and select your order with all the particulars. You submit it and wait for the order to be prepared. No lines to stand in and they were pretty quick about producing the order. I ordered the Italian sub sandwich and soup which are both very tasty. We like Wawa a lot while traveling thru Florida. This location is new and still appears to be getting its feet. The service is good surrounding the sandwich area, but registers need improvement. They are currently having a sandwich special. Love the chicken cheesesteak and you must customize it to your liking. The menu doesn't allow a custom note or ability to order more than one cheese type. It does offer extra meat however. This location is missing the Tripletta sandwich which is unique to Wawa. read more
