It's so sad to see my favorite chain go downhill. I have yet to have an average or better experience at any wawa south of palm beach, and my first visit to this location is no different. I'll still be back, I will always love the chain, but south Florida is showing it's true colors as I expected. Just a few things that stood out. When I came in it was kind of quiet, only a few customers and more workers than customers. Every touch screen you order from was disgustingly filthy. The store has only been opened a few days but looks like they haven't been wiped clean once. The only item I ordered was made sloppy and incorrectly. Tuna, cheese, pickles and hot peppers was received has tuna cheese and cucumber. The people making the food and taking the money weren't friendly. All donuts and premade hot food (pretzels/bites) we're out of stock. One customer became hilariously upset there were no donuts, however the response of a worker when she inquired was less than professional. Sadly, I'll be back. I dreamed of one opening near me but now that it did it's bittersweet since their standards already appear to be dropping. Wawa in other states seem to take more pride than they do down here. read more

Stopped in on Christmas Day because I had just left yoga and realized I was out of coffee creamer. Ended up getting a sub as well. Wawa is like a mini grocery store with a gas station attached. They don't only have your normal convenience store items they also have subs (yum!), a coffee station, donuts and salads too. Ana working on Christmas Day was singing along to the Christmas music as she made my sub and she was such a delight. The store is very clean and I was in and out pretty quickly. This gas station is a great concept and the sandwiches are flavorful and reasonably price, most employees use the speaker system to call customers to pick up their orders, I notice new faces since they opened this station at the beginning of the year, but, what I don't miss is the amount of garbage laying around the seating area and some times on the tables, I don't eat at the station just buy the sandwich and leave, but my thought is, if you have a clean place more people will want to come in, place orders and even seat and eat there. I asked about the manager on duty and pointed out the area affected and he acknowledged the issue. I will not give it more than 3 stars because I have been to older Wawa gas stations and they are very clean, I'll pay a visit to this gas station tomorrow to pump some gas, hopefully it will be clean. Update: Went to pump gas today and get something to drink and was approached by two homeless asking for money and cigarettes, I just bought water for them and left, I know there is a lot of people necessity, but come on Wawa, allowing this at your location, the GM has to do something about it, because is becoming a job to panhandle at this gas station! If you don't like homeless people asking for money or cigarettes avoid this gas station, and yes Wawa you are loosing another star until your GM learn how to handle issues like this. read more

FINALLY! As a Philly girl I'm so happy to have Wawa back in my life! I got my free coffee for the first week they were open and they also sent some coupons in the mail. I will be visiting Wawa every other day if not every day! A quick sandwich for lunch fast and actually delicious! Hot coffee or Cold coffee they always have it. Soda, a muffin, a bagel or donuts? How about a snack, homemade rice crispy or chocolate covered pretzels. What about if you dont have time to stand a wait for them to make a sandwich in the morning well they have already made and hot Sizzlies!!!! Aka Breakfast sandwiches! I really enjoy coming to this WaWa. Once I had really poor service at checkout w the cashier..so I took their survey and wrote about it..Wawa mngmnt got back to me and I haven't seen that person there since. Their lattes are really good and more affordable than Starbucks. I dont recommend eating from here on a regular basis or you'll gain wt u didn't intend to. It's big enough inside for everyone and they have free air outside which is hard to find these days so thanks WaWa! Also their bathrooms are clean:) read more

Today at 12:15am I purchased gas and fluid for my car. The cashier was Racist towards me. The Racist cashier's name is Emanuella. She was really nasty and rude and had an atrocious attitude. I forgot to put my face mask on as I went into the store to make my purchase. I apologized and said I forgot and went outside to get my face mask as there is an order in Broward County that everyone must wear a face mask. I asked the Racist cashier Emanuella why she wasn't so nasty and rude with the White customer for NOT wearing a face mask. I am a person of color. In what's going on in the world today, I would expect people to not be so Racist. As I asked her why she didn't behave and get so nasty with the White customer, Emanuella just smacks her lips and turns her head twisted and keeps saying I don't have to. I said OK. I guess Emanuella believes that her job is not in customer service and that White people don't have to follow the rules but people of color must be treated nasty when they forget to put their face mask on. This Margate Wawa is the only Wawa store that has the worst customer service. This Wawa store is also a Racist Wawa store. Wawa condones Racism. read more

I can't ever say anything negative about Wawa. I first fell in love with this place up in Orlando and haven't stopped my obsession since! You can grab some breakfast, brunch, lunch or whatever your heart desires while pumping some gas or you can just go to satisfy your Wawa cravings like I do! I have been going to this place a few times a week since it has opened. The staff is very friendly and Jarrod the manager is great, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and busy at times. Why the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The Tomato Basil soup is my favorite. Down load the Wawa app order before you get to store it will cut down on those busy hours. With the app the also send you some free bonus gifts just had a free breakfast burrito. read more

Even though they have my favorite candy bar (100 Grand) I am still not a fan. I have pulled in to several wawa's and looked at their menu and walked out. I never see anything i like on the menu. Today I figured I would stop in and see if they had burgers. They dont. Not a huge surprise. I did order the philly cheese steak and mine came out with RAW onions and not melty like a philly cheese steak. VERY disappointed. Yes its very inexpensive (4.99) but still this wasnt a philly cheese steak or wasnt made the way one should be. Yes, the store is clean and bustling with business but still, I am not a fan. I did get to see their secret menu which had 2 birthday shakes you could purchase for their birthday that is coming up. I dont think I will be returning for food. Maybe I would return for the candy bar but thts about it. I did also buy a large made fresh daily pretzel (1.39). It looks like it was made today. I wish I was more of a fan of their food selections but i am not. They dont even have any hot dogs. read more

Fuel prices are slightly lower than most. With their gas credit card it is 5 cents off per gallon. More important the sandwiches are good and they offer a variety of drinks. They have the "Philly" style pretzels and Tastykake items. The place is clean and the workers are helpful. Got Love Wawa. read more

I ordered a beyond sausage breakfast burrito this morning. When I bit into it, it was a steak burrito. When I called the location all they offered was to come in and get my order remade. A manager told me to rering in my order, and after I did offered me "a drink or something from the bakery". I was not offered a refund for the inconvenience. The rest of my food at home was cold, and I had to use my own gas to go get what I originally paid for. I'm genuinely disappointed at the customer service. As a vegetarian, I believe having a meat substitute option needs to be taken seriously, and staff should not make mistakes like this. The least they could've offered was a refund, but instead I got a $1.99 muffin. read more

This place has consistently kept the cheapest gas prices in Coconut Creek since opening. The gas prices prices keep the pumps really busy so please try and be polite. The sandwiches are great, the coffee equivalent to Dunkin Donuts, but the milkshakes makes this place really stand out. Give the milk shake a chance and you might drive by Dairy Queen by mistake.... cough cough. read more

Too many problems. First the rewards app did not work for a month! Then the wi-fi would not connect for months. Then the menu was constantly screwed up because of overnight updates. Then there were the specials that were special yesterday but not today with every excuse under the sun that changed daily, even though the advertising signage was still up! Then there were the vagrants that constantly hung around and were driven off by the Broward County Sheriff Dept. They do a great job, but after a while you wonder if this is a safe environment? My girlfriend and I had never been to WaWa. We didn't get gas but we're there to check out the food. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. It took them 10 minutes to make it. I liked the bun and overall it was a good, nice-sized sandwich. I don't think there was actually any real "cheese" on it, but rather a copious amount of liquid cheese spread. It was ok for the $4.99 price which is my upper price limit for subs. My girlfriend had a salad which was, IMO, overpriced for the size (or was it that she "forgot" her wallet in the car?). She found a dollar off coupon on the counter, so that was good. She didn't complain much except when we first walked in and realized that it really was just a gas station. It was a nice day and they had outside tables to eat on. It is at a busy intersection so it's pretty loud. So, that is my once in a lifetime experience with WaWa. read more

This morning I went to Wawa for a breakfast hoagie, I went ahead and paid the cashier, put my ticket in the paid bin, I'm a avid shopper at Wawa and get my gas there as well, the lady there this morning, made the sandwich and left it there on the counter without calling the order number, and she's just there staring at me and went back to work, I thought she was going to call the number as they always do, she said what that's your sandwich I told her I didn't know that I thought you were going to call the order number 307, but she didn't, she said it's been done for a long time, then she should of called them number "order 307 your breakfast hoagie is ready", nope nothing, I didn't know that was mines, as soon as I got to my car it burst on me, looked like pig slop in a bag and it messed up my car as well, I was mad i was hoping to e joy my breakfast before work but I just threw it away and drove somewhere else to get breakfast, I use to love Wawa but this morning experience just soured it. At least call the order number instead of having the customer wait, and don't over stuff the hoagies. read more

i love this place and the coffee is always outstanding. better than any other place around that serves coffee this place takes the award for the best!! my 2 most favorite employees are sarah who tends to the beverages, subs and cashiering and i also love jane who handles the cashiering! these 2 girls are outstanding employees and have such wonderful friendly personalities all the time!! it is always such a pleasure to see these girls working when i stop in everyday for my wonderful coffee that i love so much!!! this place became addictive to me i can't stay away! read more

This is my second wawa. This one is poorly designed compared to one in Lake Worth. No indoor seating or wifi room. Outdoor seating minimal and filthy! Could use fan since our climate is so hot and humid! There was an employee sweeping around tables before we sat down and there was still garbage on ground too and obviously had not been really cleaned in awhile. And no one cleaned tables during whole tim we were there. Also outdoor tables right along parking so you have headlights in your face while eating. We ordered mac and cheese with steak and strawberry shakes. Food wad excellent. Strawberry shakes tasted ok but would have been better if made with fresh strawberries instead of oversugared strawberry syrup. And it was featured shake of month. Got iced mocha mint coffee to drink next day which was good this morning. If management reads this please clean up outdoor seating area and see if can get fan installed. read more

I always thought it was weird, and even gross to eat anything from a gas station, but Wawa is the exception. Convenient place to grab a bite to eat while running errands (and filling up your gas tank). I'd frequent this station more if it weren't for the pumps - they're soooo slooooow. read more
