Great toilet seats very comfortable for a wawa. Would have been 5 stars if they had softer toilet paper

When we found out that Dave's was opening a franchise in South Jersey we were so excited since that is where my family is from! We hyped it up to them and told them that they were going to LOVE it! When we were just home visiting, we got to finally try it out since they opened last year! The restaurant is very cool, plenty of tables, very open, and they even have seating outside as well! One thing we love about Dave's is the different art in each location, it's so cool to see how it changes wherever you visit! We also love that in every restaurant you can find a bit of their story from how they started in a parking lot in LA! We ordered the 2 slider meal with fries, one extra hot and one medium with cheese. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese as well as 2 drinks. The order came out pretty fast and the food looked delicious as always. We loved how fresh the chicken was and the perfect seasoning of the chicken to make it the correct spice level! The fries were amazing, as always and the mac and cheese was creamy! One thing that makes the slider the most perfect is the crunch of the kale slaw! It wraps up the flavor profile so perfectly! OH! And we can't forget to talk about the Dave's sauce. Get extra. You won't regret it! Overall, this is out favorite restaurant to get hot chicken from! If you are in the area wanting to get a great experience, stop in and say Hi to Dave!

This Friday I found myself at a Raising Cane's in Burlington, New Jersey, which as far as I know…read morehas never been the setting for any great epics, unless you count the war between people who like coleslaw and people who don't. I was there with my son. He had just finished his volunteer work, and we were both hungry. Hunger makes philosophers of us all. I had read the reviews. Many of them said things like "the service is terrible" and "this place is a mess" and "the toast was a war crime." These people must have been living in a parallel dimension, because what we experienced was very nearly delightful. My son got the Box Combo. That's four chicken fingers, a pile of fries, a slab of Texas toast, a little dish of coleslaw, and a drink. He chose sweet tea because he's no fool. He told me beforehand he didn't want the slaw. Kids these days. So I took it. I'm the father. That's what we do. He liked it all. Said the chicken was hot and tender inside. The Texas toast got a nod of approval. That means a lot from a kid who does not pull punches when it comes to food. I got the Three Finger Combo. Fewer fingers but still enough to remind you that you're alive. Fries, toast, sweet tea. No frills, just hot food done well. When the food came up, someone shouted "Hot fresh chicken for Jerry!" They weren't lying. That chicken was blistering. Had to let it cool for a minute or two before my mouth could handle it. Once I did, I found it juicy and delicious. People speak of Cane's Sauce like it's the nectar of gods. I found it fine. Not worth composing sonnets over, but pleasant. The chicken pieces were a bit on the smaller side. That's not a complaint. Quality over quantity, folks. Give me a smaller thing done well over a big one done half-heartedly any day. The slaw was cold and creamy and fresh. I liked it. It's the kind I like, chunky, not obliterated into tiny pieces. No one will write a song about it, but I'd eat it again. The sweet tea was sweet tea. You know what that means. If you don't, move south for a summer and you'll learn. The service was excellent. I mean it. The woman who seemed to be in charge was sharp and kind. She took our order and later came by while we were eating, asking if everything was good. It was. That kind of check-in might not seem like much, but it reminded me that humans are still out here trying. The dining room was clean. It was well-lit. It was also about five degrees colder than the surface of the moon. My son and I sat there with goosebumps on our arms like it was some sort of poultry-themed Arctic expedition. Still, I'd come back. I'd even bring a sweater. Sometimes good chicken and good company are enough to make you forget the cold. Almost.

Honestly, I avoided going to Raising Cane's for a long time (a couple stores opened up in my area several months ago) because I thought, "Eh, it's chicken tenders, how good could it be?" Well, was I in for a reality check (and a treat)! I am so glad I finally stopped and can't wait to go back again. My visit was last Friday (April 11, 2025) and I knew something good was on the horizon when I walked in and was immediately greeted by the shift manager and the person running the register. This may come as a shock, but the folks working there truly seemed happy and glad to be doing their job and serving customers. I was able to speak with the shift manager after my meal and he was so polite and friendly. The young lady working the cash register would go out on the floor and wipe down tables when she didn't have any customers to wait on. Such initiative! If you think you've had it all in the world of chicken tenders - think again! The tenders are so fresh, moist, and cooked to order. The special sauce has the perfect zing to it. I was totally satisfied with my meal. Even the fries have a signature taste to them and aren't run-of-the-mill deep fried potatoes. Due to the outstanding customer service, the delicious food, and a nice clean atmosphere, I would definitely recommend you eat at here. Please patronize Raising Cane's. You will not be disappointed.
