I really like this Wawa location. I visit here all the time. The food is fresh and well-stocked, plus the staff are very friendly. It is usually fairly quick to get in and out. I was in need of a "pick-me-up" and gas before traveling home and this spot seemed to be the answer for both. Plus, I enjoy participating in Wawa's loyalty rewards program, so this location was a winner for that purpose as well. Upon entering the convenience store, I went directly to the kiosk to order a small Dulce de Leche Latte with "no whip" in the "hot beverages" category. This beverage is a favorite when I want to splurge on illicit goodness (calories) and sip a dessert. I used the self-checkout kiosk to pay and scanned my rewards card by using the app on my phone. Easy peasy. I retrieved my latte and was soon on my way. Upon exiting the parking lot, I needed to make a u-turn in order to go the direction that I needed to travel. There's one-way traffic at either entrance, so be prepared for that. Overall, this is a typical Wawa. Nothing spectacular as compared to other convenience stores/gas stations. Wawa is great I mean just great. They have semi clean bathrooms and very fresh water. I mean as a water enthusiast myself I know when to love some water and there free water is just amazing though it may tingle the teeth if they are sensitive. I taste hints of sweetness in every sip of water which I think is a great addition if I do say so myself. When you want a sweet treat Wawa is just the right place to go with many selections for sugary coffee if you have a sweet tooth like me. My ten children enjoy the popping boba pearls that they offer and it you also have children or enjoy having a popping delight then I highly recommend. On the outside there is a seating area that isn't the cleanest but it gets the job done. At this Wawa there is a Tesla charging station so that adds points always love helping the environment any way that I can !!!! So the wife and I are on the road and we are charging our car and decided to give Wawa a shot as we hear so much. The service was a bit strange and the ladies had zero social skills and I had to ask about the process flow to order and pay. Subs are ok but mine is supposed to be the Italian with smoked bacon and I think they made me a BLT only - a dry one. Not impressed it might be a deluxe experience of a meal from a gas station but it is still just a meal at a gas station. I love this chain. This location is no different. Clean, easy to get in and out of, friendly staff, and plenty of snack options! This Wawa is like the rest. A great place to go for gas, food, and drink. Their Sizzli breakfast sandwiches and hoagies are delicious. Their coffee is great, they have a great selection of bottled soda, water, juices, and beer. And they have many delicious grab and go choices to eat, whether it be a meal or a snack. And I like the free style Coca-Cola machines. And the good news is that right now, all sizes of the fountain drinks are seventy-nine cents. With tax, eighty five cents. Which is great considering how hot it is outside. Which probably explains why there was a mob of people behind me as soon as I started filling my cup. There are only two machines, and there are signs posted on the floor to inform customers of social distancing and to stand six feet apart. That simple request went out the window. That is why I give Wawa four stars. Not because of the store, but the customers. I know that does not sound fair, but most of the time I visit a Wawa, it just seems like manners go out the window. Waiting in line to get a fountain drink, and a customer fills up their cup, drinks some of their beverage, and proceed to refill the cup. You are standing in line on a spot marked off for social distancing at the register, and someone proceeds to cut in line in front of you. You pull up to get air for your tires, and before you can even get out of your car, someone pulls up and scrambles out of their car to beat you to the air pump. What is this? NASCAR? Filling up the gas tank and cleaning the windows, and some jackass in a monster truck pulling a trailer with construction equipment is revving his engine as if to tell you to hurry up. I don't care if yours is "bigger". You can wait until I am finished. This Wawa on Fairbanks Avenue and Lee Road is at a convenient location. And a busy one at that. I just happen to go to this location the most because it is near my work. They are always SUPER clean. And the food inside is incredible (were still talking about a gas station yes) and the prices are better than 7-11. They make food in house and at your request so it's 'fresh'. And they have a coffee bar ?? Omg. So they make subs, bowls, and snacks too. And breakfast food all day!!! My fav are Mac and cheese and mashed potato bowl with chicken fingers. Bagels with cream cheese and veggies. Any bagel with any cream cheese basically ‍.. breakfast burritos with scrambled eggs ... THA LIST GOES ON. And it's all customizable !! WAWA take all my money !! A typical Wawa. I travel Fairbanks, Orlando Ave., and Lee Road frequently, and this Wawa is my favorite area gas station for several reasons. First, it's easily accessible. A stop light on Orlando with a left turn lane facilitates easy access to the shopping center which houses this Wawa and aids exit. There is also an entrance/exit on Lee Road. However, the Lee Road exit is without a light. To go toward highway 4, I recommend using the Orlando exit. Turn left on Orlando, and take the next left onto Lee Road. Second, I feel safe at this Wawa. At night, I feel less safe at the gas station at 4/Fairbanks or the gas stations nearer Colonial. Reasons three, four, and five include the friendly and sometimes even jovial staff, the clean bathrooms, and the consistent, customizable fast food. Wawa generally has good fast food so long as you avoid the pre-made breakfasts in the warmer cases. I am fond of the chicken and mash potato bowl. I also like their flatbread sandwiches. After driving all day and night, i finally arrive in Orlando and the first thing I see is Wawa! I was so excited. I wished I was hungry because I was craving a meatball sub all weekend that I never did end up getting, but I still had an excellent experience (as always) at this Wawa location. I came in and got everything I needed to mix up some cocktails at a friends house, picked up some milk to go with the cookies I'd be receiving when I checked into the Double Tree down the road, and decided to indulge in a cheese stuffed pretzel on the way out. All this while getting amazingly friendly service. I love this place. I'm super jealous that Wawa has seamed to hop, skip, and jump over the Carolinas from VA and head straight for FL... or at least Orlando because I didn't see any the rest of the way back home. read more

They have Philly soft pretzels and the WaWa stores partnered with the Amoroso bakery in the NE so they now bake all the hoagie rolls on site. What's a hoagie, you say? Well, it's a sub but there's more to it here. WaWa specializes in MTO subs and sandwiches. Whatever you want, you can get. Just plug your order in at the touch screen and take the receipt to the cashier. By the time you finish paying, your order is well on its way. Easy entrance off of Lee Road! And, now even better with the extension from the east, which I was traveling. It's an easy left turn onto Orlando Avenue; and, then a quick right into the parking lot. Plenty of pumps, great selection (regular for the CR-V and premium for the 911S.) As with most Wawa locations, the prices are reasonable; but, not the cheapest. However, there is always a line for the pumps... WOW! It took quite a while; and, snaking around to get to the pump. Everything was in working order, even paper in the printer for a receipt! This will totally be my new addiction! I had been hearing all sorts of wonderful things about WaWa since they came to the Central FL area. All of them are completely out of the way from where I live and work...until now! This new location is literally a hop, skip and a jump from us so we finally checked it out recently and also because we got the mailer with coupons to redeem for some free goodies. Parking is both in the front and back of the location and even though they are a gas station, I was excited to check out the inside. It's huge in size for a convenience store and is definitely giving 7-Eleven a run for its money. The left side of the store(if entering from the 1792 side) is specifically set up for ordering food and specialty drinks while the right side is all your typical aisles of foods, drinks, etc . It's a bit overwhelming especially if you've never been there before. There are computer screen kiosks everywhere where you can place your sandwich and drink orders which are then prepared for you. Silly me thought it was only sandwiches that you order on the screens so I filled a cup myself at the latte machine. When I went to pay, I realized my mistake as the cashier told me I was supposed to place my order on the screen. She was super nice about it though and laughed it off. At least I know better for next time. I will definitely come back to check out the subs that everyone is talking about. Brand new Wawa! Stopped in for a fresh sandwich. It was made quickly and correctly. Very tasty! BLT with pickles on whole wheat shorty. My husband got a sandwich and a smoothie, our total bill for all 3 was around $10. Not bad for lunch at a gas station! The store is brand new, so very clean. I am part of the Wawa cult, it's just a fact. Being from Philly, it's just a part of who I am. I can not express how excited I am that this new location is near my house. Soft pretzels. (that you warm up at the kitchen) Tastykakes. Hoagies. Shall I go on? Herr's chips. Touch screen ordering. Wawa coffee. Seriously, this is more than a convenience store or gas station. This is an enjoyable stop to make and one I look forward to. If you haven't ventured into this fine business, do yourself a favor and check it out. I needed coffee that was not on the shelf and one of the employees who was already busy went out of her way to grab someone else to help me and they both followed up with me as I continued to shop. If there was ever such a thing as gas staton loyalty, Wawa, specifically the Winter Park location off Lee Road and 17-92, has completely obtained mine. I was slow to allow myself to engage in the Wawa cult phenomenon, but they truly do things right. Always clean, always smiling and asking how your day is, competitive gas prices, and great food, yes GREAT sandwiches beagles and subs prepared while you are filling your tank. Not to mention the self serve coffee bar offering 6-8 different flavor choices, free air, and great monthly promotions ($.89 coffee anyone??). The Winter Park Wawa location is convenient, offering entrance on 17-92 or from Lee Road by taking the aide road just prior to Flemmings. There is more then enough parking with entrances on both the front and rear of the store. Free air is on the south side of the parking lot. They have easy exit onto 17-92, for those wanting to travel back west on Lee Road take the rear exit through the LA Fitness shopping center where you can exit into east Lee Road and quickly make a u-turn towards I-4. read more

I simply love this Wawa, besides it being my neighborhood station, everyone there has always been so kind, from asking for extra pickles for my sandwich to taking a bit of time at the register and the cashier just being patient and friendly. The store is clean and always stocked well. I went in once and asked about their big m&m cookies and if they had anymore and the employee told me they are getting them in now and went out of her way to grab me one rather than asking me to wait until they are unloaded. Digging Wawa! I'd heard about this new chain from a few friends and even my own dad so I had to see what all the talk was about. Dropped in to this location. I see what's great about Wawa now! It's your typical gas station/ convenient store but cleaner and well stocked with your favorite items, but the best part is that it's like a little deli with fresh made to order sandwiches, coffee drinks and shakes and you do all your ordering via a little computerized kiosk. Hassle free ordering all at your fingertips! You order your items just the way you want. There's plenty of kiosks to order from so very little to no wait time. Perfect and convenient. Not only is the coffee inexpensive but it's really the best coffee any convenience store has to offer!! I went in a little after 8 pm & a young lady was actually checking all the coffee brew times & tastes with a clipboard/checklist. Each coffee pot station had a time written on it to ensure that coffee is always fresh & delicious! Yes!!!! How come NY doesn't have WaWa?! Every time I visit NJ or Philly, WaWa is literally the first stop I make! I especially love that you can order a sub/hoagie & not even talk to anyone!! How much better can it get?! You just go to the deli counter & punch in what you want & how you want it on a digital pad. I know for a fact that when people may come in to a store late night or in the wee hours of the morning "compromised" & don't want to engage anyone in conversation or make eye contact (LMAO), this is really an awesome feature!!! The beer cooler at this location in Winter Park is a walk-in cooler & I saw a HUGE variety of beers!! I'm mad I forgot to check in a couple of days ago when I stopped in, but will make sure to check in & take pics later when I go back to Siam Garden (my most favorite Thai place on earth)!!
