Also a little special note I know when I look for places I want LGBTQ+ friendly so I gotta say something to help my friends out :). I'm trans/genderfluid and my wife and I always come here; we're also probably a little on the spectrum sometimes it's hard for us (or at least for me) to communicate and connect with people. I feel respected and treated human, and all of it comes off as very authentic (I mean to say that it is authentic) they never get it wrong and I feel like another human here just trying to maintain myself. I was debating writing this, I haven't had this bad of nails in a very long time. I had scheduled a…read moregelx and had to reschedule, I quickly agreed to the new date and didn't realize that it rescheduled to just gel, which I take accountability for not completely reading the full message. She worked around it and called her boss (next client) to see if she could come a little later. My baby was with me due to unforeseen circumstances and it was a little awkward. The owner showed her a Barbie doll and was helpful toward that situation. My nails she messed up on didn't put the bonding glue on a nail and continued. They seemed fine till I left and noticed 2 of the nails completely crooked and when messaged about it she said she adjusted the tip for nail bed and Is out of town and to file it cause that's what she would do. My other fingers were straight, never had a problem before. It was on a Friday and by Monday a couple of the nails were falling off and broken. I don't do much with my hands so for 80$ nails and 20$ tip, to fall off within less than 3 days isn't great. I have paid way less and they lasted longer and looked better and if not they would have me come back in and take off the nail and re-do it. A second one split 5 days in, they looked rushed and not put on correctly

Hello! So, this is the first time I've EVER done one of these! But I had to tell about my experience and how Courtney has been one of the best waxing professionals I've ever had. So, I used to go to Courtney for about a year and half straight for Brazillian waxes. However, with my busy schedule and going back to school and stuff it was hard to make time and to do waxing for financial reasons. I went to others, who did okay but they weren't the best. I did a groupon with some lady and she ended up ripping skin off my Brazillian area and I ended up getting discoloration and peeling from that area. It was so embarrassing and did not get waxed for over three months because I was so scarred from the experience. I saved and went back to Courtney because I knew, no matter how long, she would do an amazing job! She gave me great advice and did such an amazing job! After not going to her for almost a year, she still remembered what to do and what not to do when waxing me. She has always made everything so comfortable and has always made me feel like I could trust her. I would definitely recommend her for anyone who is beginning or who is in between or who has had bad experiences like mine! I would suggest her for anyone who is looking for an exceptional wax!! My friend and I really wanted to do something together that was slightly nerve racking and totally outside of our comfort zone. So while we were visiting San Francisco last month, we ended up booking an appointment to get Brazilian wax with Courtney. My friend was super nervous since her hair is fine and she's never had one. Whereas, I've had several but there's always a unbearable discomfort a few days later... Just not in this case. She made us feel super comfortable. We were bragging about it throughout the rest of our trip! Not only was she absolutely amazing, her working environment had such vibrant energy. It made us loosen the tension we were feeling. And to top it all off besides being an amazing and professional beauty queen, it didn't hurt! Even after a month, we feel indebted to go back to her! We made an appointment for the BF before the heavy traffic. But for some reason flow was stopped. Wendy was able to switch out two clients, as the next was early, however, they went over. He had to get back. We covered that. She offered to credit it. I appreciate that because she does try to get her appointments in AM or early afternoon, so she can get to other commitments (is my experience), so we did not book after 5. Fast forward 4 months. Trying to cram in a visit given I haven't seen her all this time. Got a text from her at 9AM, "Be there in 10 minutes." Oops. Her software system download junk mail that I didn't want so I gave my secondary email; that meant I was not necessarily going to see the reminder, I had had four things I was managing. Home Depot crew just left and she used to be downtown but I'm a loyal soul, 15 minutes away. There was the holiday special event the night before, I trained full time the previous days, with a flight delay 24 hours a week before. I understood missing, and honoring her time for that. I stopped and rebooked, and she said no, no, no to her software openings. Only several days out and only one time, okay. Let me circle back because this is confusing. I did so. The thing is, after, I didn't need the text message later, sounding like Mommy. We were past that. It's not like she only traveled to see me that day that I screwed up. She had appointments all day. But still, she was :-/ and I acknowledged her for that, she had given a clear note about if a no show again no can do. She wrote, "Be timely, I have an appt. after." Yes Mommy. I didn't have a problem with being late, so it was kind of off. No pb. She also tacked on a new fee. That was a little confusing. I thought she would say it when she said the previous blurb, and I did have a credit but that's OK. I told her and she did not like the feedback. I wish she would manage her time that she didn't give the false alarms, I understand that it happened on both ends, and that we were human, I don't think she saw it that way. Actually, your software had an opening after, but that's OK. Maybe you had a personal commitment again, maybe you just say that? Regardless, I called to create alliance with her. I do not think she checks voicemail, and she dropped me, still sounding mad at me that she lives an hour away. Oh Dear.

I was in pain for a week after that, and had a terrible reaction. Curious why she would continue through with a service knowing it wasn't under the proper conditions. She also still charged me full price, even though she couldn't do the full service. I haven't gotten a wax since this because it was such a bad experience.
