My tolerance for pain is not that great. And because of that, I need a waxer that is not only thorough but is also GENTLE when applying and removing the wax off their client's lady parts. This review is for lash lift only since I haven't tried waxing with Courtney yet. Honestly, lash lift is the way to go, over lash extensions any day, unless you have super short lashes then yes go with extensions. My lash lift was quick and lasted 2 days short of 8 weeks. It's easy to care for and doesn't irritate my eyes. I have very sensitive skin and eyes. None of the solution or glue she used caused any discomfort. I absolutely loooooove coming here! I've been going to Courtney for a while now to get a Brazilian and she is the ONLY person I will ever go to. For most people waxing is a bit nerve wrecking and painful (esp when it's down there) but Coco is great at being gentle, never letting the wax get too hot, talking you through the process, as well as just making you feel comfortable (which is key for me). Also what I really admire about Courtney is that she always maintains everything extremely clean and disinfected, which is a huge plus! Every time I have gotten waxed by her, I am realllly satisfied with the end result. She is very quick, the process itself never really hurts, she never leaves hairs behind and always make she all the wax is completely off your skin :) If you've never gotten waxed before, or even if you have, I definitely recommend coming here. Love love love Courtney! I rarely used to get my brows done because every place I tried was over priced over over-plucked them, making my brows look thin and wispy. On my first visit, Courtney convinced me to try darkening them up a bit and she made them look fuller and more beautiful than they ever have before! When, about 20 minutes after my first visit, I got stressed that we'd gone too dark on my brows (never having tinted them before) I called Courtney and came back in to lighten them up. She ended up spending about double the amount of time on me and didn't charge anything extra for the double visit. Next time I came in, I completely realized she'd been right to make my brows darker and love them even more this time! Courtney is a lovely person, great to chat with and had a nice little place right by Ballena bay in Alameda. Update: My review on a for the Triple B growth serum. It works so well and is the best. I got the serum from Coco and use it every night. Since I got it I already noticed more hairs growing on my brows, a lot faster than it did before. If you want help to achieve thicker brows then the brow serum from Coco is the one for you. I even a little on my lashes since I want longer lashes as well. It works and smells pretty good to me. I would recommend the serum to everyone. But here we go: So before my first vacation to LA, I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian wax, and Courtney was very nice while we set up my appointment (via text). The day of my appt (a month ago), I decided to add an underarm wax and brow wax/trim on a whim, but she was very accommodating.
