I've had a few dozen brazillians over the years at different spas and this was the least painful, fastest, and cheapest I've ever had (only $55 and 5 week maintenance waxes are $10 off if you schedule them as you're walking out). The conversation we had was also really genuine and I laughed a lot. She also shaped the hair exactly as I specified. I won't go anywhere else from now on. Just beware that finding the entrance to spa is tricky. Make sure to follow the instructions in the confirmation email they send to find the unmarked metal door and unlock it with a code. read more

I've never had a full brazillian wax prior to coming to Waxing Moon Spa. I found them on yelp and was convinced to visit them a few days before my wedding. First of all the room is very hospital-exam-room like- which actually made me feel like it was sterile and clean and very professional. Rebekah was sooo quick and made me feel totally comfortable. Waxing Moon may be a little hard to find the first time but it's worth it (just pay attention to the address and remember you have to get buzzed in and go up the stairs.) But it is in a convenient location with street parking usually available in the area and also it's right off many bus routes. I've been coming to Ileah for a couple years now and I think it's time to add my honest opinion. Ileah is great! She's fast, she does the best waxing job around here (I had to try a bunch of other places before finding her), she's precise. Entering the building is easy if you know how to read an email and follow instructions (yes, you need a code to enter the building and it changes every once in a while, but I've never had a problem with that). It's well worth the drive from the eastside. The one thing that they cannot control is parking, I would recommend giving yourself 10 minutes to find a parking spot and have enough time to walk in. read more

Rebekah is such a doll. I'm a little late in writing this, as I went over a month ago to get my first brazilian, but she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. You can't beat Rebekah's prices, almost anywhere in the Seattle area for waxing. As you read the other reviews, they are true about her being really funny, helping you to relax, being efficient and very good. The thing that brought me back is that how well she cares for all your skin while you are there. She took care of the most persistent in-grown hairs and taught me how to eliminate them forever. That service alone is worth way more than she charges and not one other single waxer I have been to ( I have been to over 6!) have ever done that. OK, ladies and gents, I dislike getting waxes as much as the next, but if you are going to have all the hairs from your private parts ripped out, Rebekah is the gal to do it. I've been getting brazilians for the last 7 or so years and the key to a successful experience is to find someone who will do it quickly, yet with attention to detail. Rebekah does both. She is friendly, professional, the place is extremely clean, she uses high-quality products, and she tries to accommodate my last-minute frantic calls for her services into her schedule. I had a bikini wax here once. It hurt really badly but at least they were nice and the price was right.

My experience at Waxing Moon Spa was not a good one. First, I have been getting waxed for 10 years now so I am accustomed to the heat, discomfort, etc that is associated with getting a brazilian wax. I wanted to like this place, but this was the worst wax I've ever gotten. First, the the aesthetician didn't check the temperature of her wax pot properly because she burned my nether regions pretty badly. I repeatedly asked her to turn down the pot, which she did; however she didn't wait long enough for it to cool down. I was left with burns and a few blisters on my nether regions which were pretty painful. Also, she also left a lot of hair behind. Maybe I would have had a different experience if I saw Rebekah instead of this other aesthetician, but after my experiences, I cannot recommend this place. read more
