It was so much fun!! We did the gingerbread run themed room rated medium. Very family friendly. My son and I were just passing through town and he really wanted to do it. Popped in and we were greeted and instructed to complete reservations online and sign the waivers. It was easy and fast and we reserved 30 min before the next available time . Super last minute and yet they were ready to accommodate! Our friends were visiting from out of state and we wanted something fun to do. I found this place and decided to give it a try. We booked the Bigfoot room and I ordered these shirts on Amazon to match. The kids, ages 14-20, went along with wearing the shirts, thank goodness. The Bigfoot rooms were fun and kept all of us busy and working together for 57 minutes! Super fun, and Rajo, our game master, was really helpful. Afterward, we did the ax throwing for a half hour. Super fun, zero complaints from the teenagers, and perfect 1.5 hours total of activity. Victoria was our host for the ax throwing. She gave a brief and helpful tutorial and checked in on us a few times. Very fun. Will return to try the other rooms. read more

We had a great time at Way of Escape. Our game masters (Rocky and Rajo) were fantastic. We did back-to-back rooms, The Cure, and the Hunt for Bigfoot. Our game masters were helpful when we needed help and made the experience fun. Rocky was incredibly helpful and patient as we asked questions. He told us about the other rooms and really planted the seed to come back and do some of the other rooms! What a Game Master Extraordinare! This visit was the second time we had Rajo as our game master, and it's clear he loves his job and we were so thrilled to play another escape room with him. Gave it another shot thinking the first was just their smallest room. Tonight we did the Santa's house one. There were 7 of us and we were shoulder to shoulder. It had 3 rooms and each was tiny. You can't have more than 2-3 people in the middle section. The bedroom you can maybe have 4. Again super hot and super loud music. The voicemail clue is so quiet that only the person standing by it can hear it. The train did not have a good connection on the track and took forever to move it. This is the new section of their rooms and things just seem terribly rigged and old already. 6 more combination locks. They're just not that creative. Missing button which was part of the clue. Waited outside in the cold because the door is locked and nobody was actually there. Showed up right at 7 to let us in. Highly disappointed again. First time Shane on you. Second time Shame on me. We came here for my husband's birthday celebration. The sound didn't work in the room, so we could not hear any part of the storyline. Because of this, we needed a lot of clues and did not understand much of the context. Our black light did not work either, so we had to get it exchanged for another during the game - which caused a bit of downtime. We had an extra key attached to a bell, and tried using it for many of the locks. It turned out the key was meant to be in the Santa Claus escape room. The extra key caused a lot of confusion. Recently came for a birthday party, and we did the clock escape room. We managed to escape with 30 min to spare. They do have two entrances, so you might have to hit up both to find your right room. Once we found the right one, the staff was very informative of the rules and what we needed to do. Even being tricky, they offer unlimited hints if needed. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Excellent experience! We've done 3 rooms here and each one has been a great experience. The pirate room is so unique! Real water in the room!! Such a fun little piece that sets this one apart from others. Our game master Evan was awesome on the last rooms we did (truly though, they are all so good)! I love that they get in character when asking for clues. We've done escape rooms as a group for a while now. We did them when I was pregnant and it's been so fun to bring our girl with us as we do them with her strapped in now. We can wait to return to do more! read more

Frustrating and Not fun at all. The sound was inaudible during most of the beginning instructions, so we missed the storyline if there was one. There were too many keys and locks and things that happened just by chance. Without a solid clue, who would think to move a single floorboard when 4 photos were aligned. Also, there was no clue for what to do with the ration cards, although that was important. Our game master couldnt see our progress, due to insufficient cameras in the rooms and couldnt communicate well with us regarding our progress. The hints were therefore useless or confusing. I think i wasted over $300. for my grandsons birthday celebration. Suggestions: A decent checkin area/ waiting room, more cameras, better communication & clue explanation. Add sensors or ID to keys. read more

To start we have done many escape rooms at many locations and have done from very immersive to the simple lock and key rooms. Beat the room, Red door, Adventure gamez, Winchester, Escape games, just to name a few. We have done a few rooms here and to be honest they were not all that fun. So let me break it down. Bomb Squad- At every place we have gone the thing we are told is once you use this clue you will no longer need it. Well this room is keep all clues cause if you fail one clue, the room ends. You loose. Our game master was not very nice to us after. She made us feel like we were dumb as we lost on the last piece. It felt like a waste of money. Bigfoot- Our game master Sean was great and helped us solve the problem with one of the interactive elements acting up. But the room was convoluted. There is not an order to the room like most places. So you get lost on what the next steps are. But we did enjoy for the most part. The Cure- Was fine, nothing of note here. The Hiding place- There was an exposed screw in a box in a room with very little light well I stuck my hand in not knowing and got a cut on my hand. The room is hard as every like 30 sec you have to duck down and get out of sight so most of the room was spent crawling on our backs or hands and knees to not set off the alarm. We came out of the room feeling overwhelmed. Again Sean was great and did his best to help us. Chernoybl- The room is designed by someone who is very smart but almost to smart to make a room that is done by normal everyday people. We came out annoyed at how all over the place the room was. Sean again was great. Pirates- We took another person with us because it looked fun. It was not linear in the way you solve it. The props were not working. We had to apply real pressure to open some of the doors. There were not clues to really help guide you. There is no board to write clues down in a room that had ciphers this was annoying. But the worst was our poor game master was so understaffed so we were not answered when we asked for clues for about 15 min. We know because we were told the music would play when we had 15 min left, and we asked while no music was playing then kept asking and kept asking and were ignored until the song "bad day" started playing saying we had lost. Needless to say we did not enjoy and felt robbed for how expensive the room was. Overall, the rooms are too complicated. The clues are all over the place. They are understaffed. The experience was not great. And we gave it a lot of chances to impress us. But Sean was great and is a fantastic Game master! read more

Had a great time curing covid! The Cure was just right for 2 person groups. They had some creative elements to the room that we hadn't seen before. The rooms flowed well according to the theme and it felt like we found the cure to a pandemic at the end. The game master Sean was also very helpful every step of the way. I wasn't going to post this email I sent the company owner but seeing as how I got no response from them I feel it's only fair to let the public know our group's experience. Unfortunately, our visit did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an employee who appeared overwhelmed, as he was managing both the escape rooms and axe throwing activities. This initial impression was concerning, and it became evident that his attention was divided. The briefing we received was disjointed, and we noticed that the staff member was simultaneously attempting to address issues in other rooms. During our game, we were not informed about our remaining time, and when we requested a hint via walkie-talkie, the response was unhelpful. The employee's assistance was minimal, and he seemed to regard our request for help as an inconvenience. Additionally, once he did enter the room he took over solving the final puzzle, which affected our overall experience. Furthermore, I felt as if I was reprimanded for opening a cabinet with a key we had found during the game, which added to our frustration. We had a key, there was a lock and we attempted to open it. Once the employee saw this he asked us not to do so. However, the tone in which he asked felt very condescending. After completing the game, the staff member hurriedly reset the room without acknowledging us or sharing our completion time. Instead, he only briefly asked us to leave a positive review, which felt insincere given the circumstances. Having participated in numerous escape rooms, this experience was notably disappointing. After out experience, I believe a large majority of not all of the great reviews you read on yelp come from a bribe of free treat if you write a 5 star review before leaving. My group thought it would be great to do an escape room for a Christmas team building event. When we showed up there was a bit of confusion about the time as they had us scheduled at 4 instead of 430. They were still able to accommodate us and we went right in. We ended up choosing Santa needs a solid for the room where we have to find Santa magic gloves in order to deliver presents. It was hard for me lol but we were in a group of 8 and we had some really good critical thinkers in the room. If you need a hint you use the walkie talkie and they help you out. They lost one star because it was like a sauna In tbe room. Literally I thought I was going to pass out until we figure out a clue to open the back door. Besides that it was a great time! read more

i went here last night with a few friends. We booked the Pirates Revenge room for 8 pm which is the latest available. When we got there, it was completely dark and the open sign wasn't even on. We were confused because online it said they were open, so i tried to call and no answer, then we saw that there was another way of escape sign on the opposite end of the parking lot and we went there and it was open. so it was a weird start. Then we got inside and nobody was there. after 5 min or so the employee came up and was like "hi" .... like umm hi i booked a room for 8pm??? he was super weird and made my whole group super uncomfortable. then, he was like "are you ready? " and put us in a super dark room. we all had our purses and everything and last time I went here I got a locker and was able to use the restroom before the room. he did not ask if we wanted to do any of that instead he just put us in this room and was like okay have fun. the room itself sucked too. we have done many many escape rooms and this one was just not it. super chaotic, the lanterns barely worked, we could barely see, clues that led to nowhere, a crawl space that was super dark, etc etc. it was just pure chaos and not to mention it cost us $160 dollars. for what we got, it was a complete rip off. we did not end up getting out of the room, and me and one of my friends had to pee so bad that we almost just asked to be done early. anyway, after our time was up, the employee came in and showed us where the gold was and there is absolutely no way we would have found it. we couldn't even get it open after he showed us where it was. then he just started laughing at us?? it was super weird. after that, we went to walk out and use the restroom and he started telling us stories about how homeless people will just sneak into the rooms while they are being reset and even one time when there was a group in there?????? and he also told us that his coworker "say someone get kidnapped" !?!? like way to make us feel safe. we were still the only people there and he was basically blocking the hallway to leave and just kept talking and talking for like 20 min and we finally were like okay we need to leave. let's just say we booked it to our car and got tf out of there. do not go here!!!! seriously. so weird. read more

I went here with a handful of people twice. Same group each time. The first time, we did the science-themed room. It was very fun although that room did seem like it was made on a budget with some flimsy materials. But it was still a blast. The second time, we did the pirate room which was very impressive looking. There were a handful of things that felt cheap in there and slowed us down because they were clunky, but it was still fun. We successfully did the science room (easy difficulty) but failed at the pirate room (medium difficulty). Another 10 or minutes, and we would've had it. When we did the science room, I did notice that the staff was a lot more keen on us winning by giving us hints, especially towards the end. However, when we did the pirate room, we were allowed hints, but we had to ask. Also, when we were in the science room, they regularly reminded us of the time, but in the pirate room, we got a game over very suddenly with no warning. They should just throw a clock in each room. While both were fun, I do think that it's in the business's best interest to push the customers to win more because it's too expensive to come casually and the customers are much more motivated to come back if they won the last time. Am I going to do another escape room someday? Definitely. Will I go to this one instead of its competitors? Maybe. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. I am not 100% qualified to rate this as this was my first escape room but it was WONDERFUL. I had gone to the Christmas themed room and it was a surprise. The decoration was simply beautiful and outstanding. Staffing: The staff were impeccable. They were all extremely nice and polite to the core! I do not remember our staff's name (sorry) but she was completely in character helping us through our journey. Her optimistic and cheery voice made my family's stupidity and inability to get the clues much easier and smoother and time passes by much more quickly. As this was our first time, we really didn't know what to do and how things worked but they helped our poor unfortunate souls into success (we finished perfectly at 59 minutes). The decoration: Beautiful. I won't say much as it might ruin the surprise or clues but it really felt as if you were in the North Pole and it was truly immersive. Although the temperature wasn't similar to the true North Pole. (Which was perfect). The clues: I'm not 100% sure whether the clues were easy or not as I have nothing to compare it to. But if we were able to accomplish it with some (like a lot) I'd help, then what ever your age or intelligence level, you'll be perfectly fine. :) HIGHLY recommend this place and no review can ever express my excellent experience here! Writing this room as someone whose done over 150 escape rooms. We've done the majority of the rooms here and while some of them are very good their more recent rooms are not worth the money. We did the "bomb squad" and one of the puzzles did not work at all. Additionally we had two people in the room and it felt like too many people at times. While we did make it through the puzzles we were more relieved to be done than excited to have won. Overall they need to reduce the maximum number of players in all their rooms. Additionally it should be more clear what the "bomb squad" room is. With the right expectations it might have been fun, but it's not an escape room and not worth the money. read more

As a premise to credit my review, my best friend and I love escape rooms and travel around to do them. We have done 60+ rooms now in a year and are excited to complete hundreds more if we can. The first room we did was Bomb Squad and it was pretty fun. They have this really cool and high tech machine in the room that you have to solve puzzles and then unwire the bomb. Really great tech. They were great puzzles and some were pretty challenging. We got out with a little less than 2 mins to spare. A lot of people don't escape so we felt pretty accomplished. The only suggestion I have about the room is that it should be decorated so it feels more immersive because when we went in, it was just a blank room with the machine in the middle. Was still a fun experience, just thinking of something to heighten the experience a little more. The 2nd room we did was Pirate's Revenge and it was another great room. We again escaped with a couple mins to spare. Some of the puzzles stumped us but we got through it in the end so we were happy. In terms of immersiveness, this room was absolutely great! The room really makes it look like you're on a dock and pirate ship. The puzzles were good, and some took us a while like I said before. This room does have a crawlspace area so if you're claustrophobic then I wouldn't do this room unless you're with someone who doesn't care and will do that part. To sum up, I think this place is a great business to try to escape rooms. The staff was very very nice and welcoming and were great to talk to. I think Grace and Stephie were our game masters. Both were really good. I'm excited to see if they have new rooms in the future cus we will be back for sure. read more

I was disappointed with The Bomb Squad. It was not a typical escape room and there was no description of it until I had already paid. With 4 people it was way too crowded. Additionally, the employee working it would come into the room unprompted and solve our clues for us. With now 5 people inside the room it was an overall unpleasant experience. I wish I would've been able to see a more accurate description of the room and more freedom to solve the puzzles. The plus side was that our large group was able to get serviced upon arrival without waiting. read more

This was the worst escape room I have ever done. The staff was not very friendly and not clear in regards to the game play. I went with 6 others and completed the "Hiding Place" in less than 20 minutes. The clues and puzzles had no rhyme or reason, some of the locks opened to rooms we already had open. A very loud annoying alarm went off the entire time we were in there and the buttons to turn it off did not work most of the time. At the end the employee opened the door looked at the last "puzzle" we had been working on and said we won. It was extremely confusing and unsatisfying. Okay, I haven't even been here yet and I am already impressed. On customer service alone, they've already won me! I called this morning because I wanted to book a room, but I had a couple questions. Rocky called me back as soon as he got the message, and he was helpful and kind. Then I tried to book as planned, but the room showed up as full, so I called him back & he took care of it (turns out my initial booking attempt had placed a hold, so he didn't kick anyone else out of the reservation, don't worry ;) Great, good, all set to go, see you at 5:15...and then at 4:00, I get the word that one of our friends we were planning to surprise with the escape room is claustrophobic. Eek! Back on the phone again...(Poor Rocky was probably cringing when he saw my number come up again on the caller ID!) But you know what? He was gracious, totally understanding, and he even made an exception and allowed us to rollover our money to a future date. If their rooms are half as good as their customer service, I don't expect to be disappointed. Really looking forward to giving this place my business! read more

We came to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday party. It was our second escape room experience but the first time without our young adult kids, who usually do most of the work. Steffi did a great job as our game master and explained everything thoroughly. She gave us helpful tips when we needed them and when we tried the ax throwing later, she showed us everything we needed to be successful. We tried The Cure room and it was challenging. There were a few puzzles where we were able to determine the numbers in the combination locks but didn't know the order in which to put them. That was a constant challenge and we always needed a hint. The only reason we didn't give them a five star review is because it was quite warm. We were sweating the whole time we were in the room. When we got out, we asked Steffi to raise the air condition which she was happy to do. read more

We visited Exodus Escape Adventures with our friends. We are not new to escape rooms, and absolutely loved our experience here! The host kept in character while we tried the Pirate's Revenge room. It is so fun, there actually water, a ship, and treasure! It is designed in a way that you are immersed in the room. Hint- secure the steps, we had a mishap with them but it was a funny moment.
