    CHEEEESY BURGER

The food here is great! Service was pretty on par but the best thing about this place was how clean and how chill the environment here was! Will come again

My daughter speaks highly of this place as she ate my vegan burger the last time so I can't really tell you how it tastes. She was barely seated when I noticed and it was almost gone. Guess that speaks volumes. Update: Almost two years later I can say myself the burgers here are delicious. Food cooked to order and great customer service.

My family is addicted to this place and although it's a little pricey they have the best customer service! Very cute little spot; I feel like if it were bigger they could make it have the retro feel. The food is pretty good - I mean you can mess up a burger and fries lol. The shakes are great.

I seriously don't understand the bad reviews. If I prefer at the counter and before I get my food I am asked to tip that is an automatic minus 1 start for me..... pay your people. If not for that this would have been 5 stars. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. We ordered the garlic Romano fries. Probably the best seasoned fries i have had. They were hot and crispy, had enough garlic and cheese so you know it is there. My wife had the double bacon burger. She said it was great but could only eat half because it was too much food. I had the spicy melt. I added jalapeños. When it was served, I thought they forgot the peppers. The young lady smiled and said check under the patty. This was a great move. There were plenty of peppers and because the patty held them in place they didn't fall out The only comment is that the bun is to soft for a burger that is allowed to hold some juice. It will fall apart if you are not careful.

Service was good, we came in mid afternoon so they were not busy at all. It was quiet. We got a spicy melt and a double burger plus the garlic romano fries. I thought the burger was juicy and fresh. Very good ... the bread was soft - so soft it fell apart and I had to get a fork and knife. The fries though!! They were so good! Great flavor not over powering just good!

Food was great. Service was fast and easy. Facility was clean and cool even though the summer heat. I'd highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try. They're not stingy with their portions.

This was my first experience at Wayback Burgers. I was in town for the week, and my Aunt had a buy one signature burger, get a classic burger free. The burgers were a nice size, but a little too greasy for me so I may be a little bias. To be fair, I reintroduced beef back in my diet about a year and half ago, so I don't think I'm used to eating burgers anymore. The milkshakes did look decadent, but I thought it might be too much with the burger and fries. Overall, an okay experience for a person wanting an indulgent cheat meal. If you like burgers, milkshakes, chili dogs, or fries this may be right up your alley.

If you want a quick quality burger, this is the place for you! Service was excellent, friendly & fast. Restaurant hosted their grand reopening and was updated & clean. Not suitable for groups as seating is limited. We will be back!

3 employees, 2 males and 1 female...the tables were dirty. The garbage was over flowing, the 3 employees didn't wash hands1 time as I could see, and as we were waiting for our food, all 3 employees were in the back, 1 chewing on ????, 2 employees were on their phones with all this to clean and take care of, and when we left, still did not clean.

The food is good, short wait and polite staff but please train your staff on how to obtain the "free milk with order" as advertised. The poor kid had to ask how to 2 different people on how to ring up the free milk shake with our order and he couldn't get any help so we just paid for the milk shake. It was good also.

Was visit from out of town and my daughter and her boyfriend recommended this burger spot. I was highly impressed with the service and the food. So impressed that when my husband and brother arrived I took them. My husband is a burger guy so if he said it was good it was good. Here in Virginia we have Five Guys... I think they could give them a run for their money and the prices were better than Five Guys.

It's been a while since I've been to a Wayback Burgers. I was in the mood for a juicy (okay, greasy) burger and fries. Wayback hit the spot! The restaurant is small - only about 6 tables and a counter, but the decor is fun. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. We waited ~15 minutes for our food. Everything was hot and fresh! My classic burger was exactly how I wanted it - super juicy and loaded with cheese. I also ordered the mac n' cheese bites, also yummy. My husband got a burger, which he enjoyed, and the o-fries. I always struggle to decide on fries or onion rings - the o-ring option (a basket of a mix of both) is the perfect side order in my eyes! If you're looking fast food then this isn't your place. Wayback is made-to-order and well worth the wait!

I'm so disappointed with the taste of this great "looking" burger!!! Atmosphere was simple, customer service was great from the youngin' but my goodness this is the most bland basic burger I've ever tasted!!!! Come on y'all!! We're in the south!! Season your meat!! Fried pickels were not good, and the so-called apple shake tasted like it was just vanilla and small apple pieces. Where's the caramel? The so-called apple pie filling? The crumbles? Y'all got to do better!! Hopefully you listen to me, because speaking frankly this place will not survive. It can though. Make adjustments, and you'll be alright.

Coke was out( that happens) Coke Zero was missing a piece and sprayed all over my arm. Little did I know this would be the best part of the meal. After waiting for 15 minutes ( in a not too crowded restaurant) I inquired about our order. "We're working on it" Standing there waiting I watched people come in, order and receive their food. At the 30 minute mark we got our meals. Surprisingly most things were cold. Also missing an order of cheese bites. Went to rectify the situation and somehow a single order of fried cheese took another 10 minutes! My food had no residual heat by the time I got to it. I really don't expect a fine dining experience at a fast food restaurant but they need to do better. Most tables were dirty and in the 50+ minutes we were there no one came to wipe them down. We were in town for a visit and excited for Cookout. This couldn't have been more disappointing!

While driving down to Florida for our vacation, we stopped at this Cookout for a quick dinner. Our visit was on a Saturday in June around 9:30 PM. This Cook Out is located in an area with a ton of other restaurants, businesses, and storefronts. We have stopped in this area many times during our drives to and from Florida, but have never eaten at this Cook Out before this trip. The restaurant has a private parking lot, and is overall both updated and clean. The drive-thru is a little tight, so be mindful if you are looking to drive around it. After being in the car all day, I was hoping to eat a meal not in the car. So, I was happy to see that this location had an indoor dining room. The sign on the door said that they closed the dining room at 9:30 PM, which is right when we arrived. However, we were able to still eat inside with several other customers. Greatly appreciate being able to do that! The dining area is rather large, so no need to worry if there will be seats available for your visit. We put our order in at the counter for two Cook Out Trays - one being a Big Double Burger House Style with a Chicken Quesadilla and Cheese Bites, and the second being a Big Double Burger Cook Out Style with Cajun Chicken Wrap and a Beef Quesadilla, both with fountain drinks. There were other customers inside eating, so the food took a few minutes, but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was delicious, just as I always expect it to be from any Cook Out. After we ate, we ordered a Junior Tray with Small Burger (plain), Corn Dog, and Chicken Nuggets to share with our dog traveling with us. We also got two milkshakes for dessert - an Oreo Peanut Butter and a Peach Cobbler. Both were so good and hit the spot! I love that Cook Out shakes are thick - almost have to eat them with a spoon between that and all of the inclusions that go in! The staff was overall friendly and helpful. The girl who took my second order was helping me put in the order in a way that made most sense, which I greatly appreciated. She was pleasant to interact with and talk to. Greatly enjoyed both my meal and experience stopping at this Cook Out location. As a fan of the brand, I was satisfied with the experience being what I was expecting. I am sure I will be returning on a future trip down to Florida in the future.

I know this is not the part of the country that typically eats cheesesteaks, but my God, this can't be the best Savannah has to offer. I'm not even comfortable calling this a cheesesteak because of the bun and the complete lack of cheese. There was a small squirt of cheese whiz under the meat, but nowhere near enough to cover the entire sandwich. And as you can see from the picture, this is probably closer to a chopped steak sub then it is to a cheesesteak. The Sole bright spot were the fries which weren't great, but were at least fried all the way through and mostly crispy. I definitely want to like this place because of their selection of hot dogs on the menu, but now I'm a bit reluctant to try it out again.
