My BFF and I were in the area and just wanted to share a good burger. I remembered seeing this location being here but I haven't stopped in yet. Well on this day we stopped in for a quick burger and fries. Well as you can see in my picture we opted for the onion rings and wow am I glad we went this route. We got the big easy. We shared the burger and onion rings and it was the perfect amount food for the two of us. Not only was the food super fresh to me it tasted like an upscale Big Mac with the best onion rings. I would gladly come back here and get another burger. And since it is just around the corner from the bird store and a grocery store I go to weekly, I guess I will be back. I would much rather spend a little extra on a good burger than get something that just doesn't even taste good at a chain of M's. read more

We had tried Wayback in Louisville and liked it. We decided to pick up lunch for take-out when we saw this one to feed our daughter and son-in-law whom we were visiting. To the point, the food was ok, no better than Sonic my burger tasted just like a double bacon cheeseburger from Sonic. If you had given it to me and told me it was from Sonic I would not have known the difference. Here lies the issue, the Wayback burger costs about twice what SOnic charges. This applies to all their food, everything was way overpriced for the quality. More outrageous, my soda (we all know it costs them pennies to serve) but they charged me $4.59 for a soft drink! Look at my receipt, four burgers, one soda and one milkshake, one order of fries, and one order of Tator tots. At Sonic this would have been about $22 bucks. At the far better Five Guys, it would have been about $40 which is still expensive but better quality than SOnic and we all know Five Guys gives you a boatload of fries. Our order was over $72 dollars! $72.70 in fact! Don't tell me about inflation or higher wages, it simply does not cost that much to make a cheap burger with paper-thin bacon. That may be why the place was empty at 1 in the afternoon when every other burger joint on the planet would be packed. Honestly, if they were amazing burgers that were huge with a cornucopia of fries maybe, but for most people $72 is not a reasonable lunch price for four people. read more

One of my go to burger joints. The wayback sauce, mmmmmmmm. Ordered online. I get the cheesy burger, but I got 2 this time lol. One I built with way back gold sauce and grilled onions. Omg. The other I built with jalapeños and spicy Mayo. We got fries as well that were good and they went along with our request to add Cajun seasoning. Gf - i got the cheesy burger, the crunch on the bun added a little pizaz to it, the burger was big, im stuffed. Fries good too. It was a little weird that it was run by all Indians but it's 2024 and hey they made a great burger. Give it a shot. read more

As a pescatarian there's only a few places I can eat but after noticing the sold a impossible burger I had to give them a try. Let me just say this, as a fluffy guy that don't eat meat this is the place to go, what an amazing burger, just exceptional quality of topping and the taste makes it hard to make it to the parking lot without sinking your teeth in it. Service was wonderful. Food was made fresh and so delicious. It is pricey- same as a sit down restaurant. The Cajun remoulade was so good. We had the Sweet Bacon Bourbon Burgers and Classic Burger. Onion rings, tots and fries. We also had the fried pickles. It was filling. Restaurant was very clean. Service? They are busy whether it's busy or not. I should have timed them in how long it took to take our order, at 5 pm on a Saturday with 2 other parties in store....it felt awkwardly long. My guess is they are short staffed and/or lots of DoorDash orders. Selection? They were out of many things, and their menu is not vast by any means. Quality? Shopping at VOA in West Chester today and Wayback caught my eye. As it happens, it was opening day. The menu options were great and I decided on the "cheeeesy", I chose swiss with jalapeño and onions but there lots of combinations and recommendations. My wife got the classic and we shared fry's and dipping sauce. The atmosphere was clean, hip and had lots of tables. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and also given a snack of dress made Saratoga chips while we waited. The food was quality and made to order - so not fast food but fast. I'm really disappointed. I'll start by saying the food was good. However, nothing feels good about being robbed. I went here to try a new place for burger week. When I heard the total at the register, I asked for a receipt just because I knew there was no way two meals and drinks should cost $30. Well I wish I had read it sooner because it appears we were charged for large/full sized items instead of the regular/medium ones listed on the menu. I wish that instead of assuming or up-charging that the cashier would have asked to clarify which size fries or tater-tots we meant. Not only were we new customers, but you're participating in a citywide promotion. It's just the courteous thing to do instead of sneakily more expensive items on the ticket. Stopped by to try this place out. There are a ton of pictures so I didn't take any. I wasn't impressed with this place. There is a nice grill but they lack the skill of being a short order cook and make multiple orders at once. Wasn't a lot of people and there were a couple of carry out orders but it took 20 minutes to get our food. We both got the classic burgers and I got Tater tots and my wife got chili cheese fries so nothing out of the ordinary they had to do. The meat on the burgers was plain with no spices so there was no flavor. Eating cooked ground beef and even with the condiments it was still blah. Tater tots taste like they should and the chili cheese fries were okay. The chili reminded me of Steak and Shake chili which was okay. For what this meal cost it wasn't worth it so I will not be going back. read more

On a Wednesday evening we were in West Chester so why not burgers? I saw that Wayback has Impossible burgers and was really excited to be able to make my own. I ordered the impossible with grilled onions, jalapeños, mushrooms, pickles, and a side of ranch. Perhaps I should have opted for different toppings, but my vision did not match the burger I received. The burger was presented with White Castle style chopped veggies, very small and very little. The pickles were bright in color and flavor... pretty much tasted like a pickle burger. The fries were good. The milkshakes are unbelievable the onion rings the fries the cheeseburgers, and the dipping sauce I chose was The chipotle mayonnaise it was fantastic. Everything was UNBELIEVABLY delicious and the girls running the show were absolutely AWESOME!! Super friendly and just an all around great experience. We got our food to go but the whole time you're able to watch them make your burgers and everyone washed their hands and they Wore gloves and the restaurant was clean. I went to purchase dinner for a family of 6 ...I want to order for five minutes..I ask the man closing a bag Assuming someone's order for five could he help..nope he said Keep in mind a young lady was cleaning the grill during this time so I asked her.. she never answered just continued to clean the grill..my family really wanted burgers.. so I asked the man again.. he pointed at young lady cleaning the grill.. she ignored me for exactly 15 minutes..I called to tell my family to pick something else to eat and finally left the grill... Don't let this review reflect on the wait staff at all. The employees there were friendly and accommodating and very helpful when ordering this was my first time in. The burgers were good, the wait was long but then again they tell you that from the get-go so I kind of expected it. The burgers were better than average for fast food, but definitely not a $9 Burger. I ordered O fries separately as a side.
