They also sell different pickleball accessories such as balls, paddles, etc. They have different brands so I was able to see the ones that I have been looking at. They have cats roaming around. The place offers lessons to learn pickleball. They have a lot of courts and sometimes they do get filled easily. Enjoy and have fun playing pickleball!

You can rent a court on some days, but we went on a Friday night where it was open play and you had to line up your paddle in the queue. Friday night was "Social Night" which means it was $15 to enter but you can stay anytime until closing time (2 am). You can bring your own chairs, food, and they even have food there for you to purchase. There were also fire pits and pickleball merchandise for you to purchase. Staff were friendly as well. Overall, a really cool pickleball spot in the area.

During busy hours, the courts become extremely hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable to play and difficult to fully enjoy the games. They got 4 permanent courts and 4 temporary ones. The temp ones are put away in a container while the tennis courts are in use. You can set up the temp courts on your own if needed. There's also a queue system which is great but from the inside, you can't really see the queue from some of the courts due to the fence and lighting. Not ideal but small issue. Courts are pretty clean and well maintained, plenty of space as well and walls/fences to prevent the balls from going too far. Some rules that my partner and I think is pretty ridiculous is that they only allow 2v2 play. I'm pretty sure not many people even know this as we saw plenty of people playing 1v1s. Some people like to play drills rather than games as well so there's that aspect. There's also many variables as to how many people are here vs what your pickleball goals are for. Not a ideal rule for the courts in my opinion. Besides that aspect, the courts are pretty clean and sturdy. You don't see many leaves on the courts and the design is clean and simple. I recommend checking this park out not just for pickleball but for all other activities.

It's really hard to see the queue from the courts, so when you're playing, you have no idea if people are waiting for a court or how long the wait might be. It would be much better if there were a more visible or clearly organized system. The overall vibe also felt less friendly than some of the other parks we've played at. Maybe it was just the day we visited, but we didn't get quite the same welcoming community feel that we experience elsewhere.

It is a typical…read moreneighborhood park with a playground, open grass fields, indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelters, a dog park, a seasonal Splash Zone water play area, and more. There are also temporary pickleball courts set up during certain hours of every day. Since these courts are not permanent, they are not great. The portable nets are flimsy and the area is way too cramped for the amount of people that visit. My main complaint with this park is that it is often pretty dirty. Although there are plenty of trash cans all over the park, I still always see litter scattered throughout the park floor, making it not an ideal place to walk my dogs. In addition, the park is super muddy whenever it rains. The park tends to get super busy on weekends, with all sorts of people coming to exercise, have parties, attend kids' sports games, or for events. Parking spots may completely fill up on weekends, while there will be plenty of open spots on weekdays.

Park Offerings: 1) Playgrounds for the kids 2) Baseball field 3) Indoor basketball/Volleyball courts in their gymnasium. Just have to find out when it's open gym for those relative sports. 4) Tennis courts and Pickleball courts. For pickleball, there's specific times to play Monday through Sunday: 5pm to 930pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 8am to 1pm (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). Just have to be mindful of the hours that they have it. The city sets up the nets for everyone to use. They're not permanent courts. 5) Splash Zone/Swimming Pool. You'll have to be mindful of the times and rates. 6) Dog Park: Located next to the tennis courts. 7) Picnic Tables/Gazebo 8) Fitness Zones: You'll see some manual outdoor exercise machines 9) Restrooms: They're nice. Location/Parking: Located on Emerson between San Gabriel and Del Mar.. Parking can be found on the street or in their parking lot. Ambiance/Decor: Go outside and touch grass for a bit. You can usually find a free court but if not you can always reserve a court to guarantee you and your friends a place to play. They also have benches and tables to sit and snack on. Parking lot is great and they stop open late which is cool.
