Staff was friendly. I do not know about the other locations but this is small. If there is not a table available, they have bar sitting along two of the walls. Space was clean. On our way out, the owner/chef was coming in. He asked us about our visit. Told him everything was delicious and we were out to celebrate my grandson making the honor society. What I like about this place is that it's so casual and homey. Our order was ready pretty quickly and everything was hot and fresh to go. Wow!! Just wow! I come from California where they have a lot of wing places and boy this place knocks a lot of those out of the park. The flavor is amazing we had the creeper ones, well my hubby did. We love everything about Wayne's wings, and we were so excited when this location opened up since it's only 10 min away. I always get the lemon pepper honey (with a side of honey), it is my go-to but each flavor is fantastic. The fries are very good and always fresh, the ranch is made in house- coat a bit extra but is definitely worth the extra. I recently just moved out to San Antonio and was craving wings. I was initially suggested multiple other wing spots but came across Waynes. Not what you would think from your traditional wing places and that has given me more of a reason to stop by again and try more of their menu. The staff weren't anything but exceptional and the spot was very inviting! Cozy and homey even tho I took it go. Cashier was very friendly and broke down the menu for this being my first time it can be overwhelming with all the flavors and options! Small location but had music playing and was able to hold a good conversation over it. The wings were incredible-forgot to use my ranch! The spicy lemon pepper are 5 out of 5! The best wings in Texas! Seriously these wings are stupidly good. I pretty sure I shed a few tears of joy every time I get my food from here. Wings are always incredibly crunchy, fresh, hot and TASTY! While my order does comes out to $25 each time it is well worth it. I have no complaints I can't say I've ever had a bad or even near bad experience here. Service is quick and thorough, they even check your order infront of you. Place is small so I'd never dine here personally but luckily I don't live far. I used to drive across town just for these wings I am so glad they are much closer to me now. Came here on a friday, this was my first time at this location for a pick up. First they tried giving my big to go order with out a bag, then the ice ran out so we let girl in front know she said okay she would tell them, 10 minutes pass and no refill on ice!! mind you it's pack and everybody is also waiting. The flavor is amazing. I first tried their wings at the original location in a bar's kitchen on Wurzbach. Really good flavor and perfectly cooked. This last visit (on Culebra) I decided to not eat there because I couldn't justify paying $20 for 10 wings. Wings were pretty good rate 8/10, I personally loved the lemon pepper, super crunchy but cooked just right. the buffalo was too hot in my opinion, wasn't real edible, the funnel cake was decent but I didn't really enjoy the combination.
