    Early Dine Menu

Stopped in at a good time when the wait is probably at its shortest and at the start of early dining special hours so score. After a short 5-minute wait, we were seated and our order taken. I go with the sirloin medium rare with a load baked potato as my side and a garden salad to start. The salad comes out first and all the veggies are fresh, crisp and the vinaigrette dressing is tangy and tasty. Simple but tasty. The sirloin comes out next and it is a perfect medium rare with a nice sear on the outside. It cuts easy and is tender. The sweet potato is good and even better after I add in some cinnamon butter. And of course, the rolls with butter are always a welcomed part of the meal. Overall, I always get consistent quality of food at an affordable price point with good service at Texas Roadhouse. I will continue to come back for more. You should too.

A good tip is to check in on the website. We were seated quickly and the server came and took our drink order right away. We got an onion blossom appetizer and it was great. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with a loaded bake potato. The steak was cooked perfectly.

I like some other locations better but it was overall pretty good. The bread rolls were small at first but they kept getting bigger as we got refilled. The portions are huge and I can usually take leftovers or share with someone else. I also tried their cheese fries for the first time and it was pretty good.

12.29.25 stopped in for lunch around 1:30, Isaiah was my waiter. Recommend the chili as one of my sides. Good call the chili was delicious! Ordered the 12oz ribeye medium rare, shrimp baked potatoes all the way,Texas toast The rolls with the cinnamon sugar are phenomenal! The steak was tender, juicy, full of flavor as was the shrimp! Great customer service from Isaiah. Like the white lightning. Gives it a Christmas vibe. They even sing happy birthday to you,as I witnessed them singing to a group celebrating ones birthday! Great food and experience!

Our waitress brought out delicious croissants drizzled with honey butter that I wish now I would've saved as my dessert. They were absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken pecan salad. Both dressings were very good and I like them equally so I did half-and-half on my salad. My chicken was grilled perfectly. It was juicy and tender. FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

Our party of five was seated right away but I did notice that around 9 Am the restaurant started to fill up. The menu is very extensive offering so many choices for breakfast but I chose the classic eggs benedict. My eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hollandaise sauce was perfect as well. What I liked about my meal was that the English muffin was not overly toasted so it was easy to cut through. The hashbrowns were delicious, a perfect combination of soft and crispy on the outside, and the fruit was perfect, ripe and very fresh. I think the prices are a great deal, the same meal at another restaurant even with smaller portions can cost me as much as five dollars more per plate. Our server was attentive, even when the restaurant started filling up. We always had coffee in our cups, and he ensured that we were satisfied all the way through our meal. This was another wonderful visit and I can't wait to go back maybe for dinner this time!

This place has officially earned a spot in my Top 5 brunch restaurants. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and felt like you were visiting family. Our server had the best sense of humor, kept us laughing, was genuinely conversational, and made us feel right at home. Great service like that is hard to find. Now let's talk about the food... because WOW. The catfish was perfectly seasoned, hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp and grits were packed with flavor, and the Red Velvet French Toast? Somebody needs to protect that recipe at all costs! The red velvet was unbelievably soft, rich without being too heavy, and every bite was better than the last. We also ordered bacon, sausage, and sampled the juices--which were all fresh and delicious. The coffee? Strong enough to wake up your ancestors, just the way I like it! One warning: come hungry! Overall, I'd say the atmosphere was the strongest part of the experience. We were staying at a nearby hotel, so being able to walk over was really convenient. We were greeted right away and seated within a few minutes, even though it looked like they were having a busy evening. The restaurant itself has a really fun atmosphere. There's a lot happening... sports memorabilia, photos, decorations, TVs, and plenty of people laughing and enjoying themselves. It has a very lively pub/sports-bar feel without being uncomfortable or overwhelming. I had never been to a 54th Street before, so I enjoyed taking everything in. For dinner, I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I chose it because it was one of the dishes I saw recommended over and over again. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of the meal. The chicken was very thin, extremely overcooked, dry, and difficult to chew. It honestly reminded me more of a basic frozen chicken tender than a freshly prepared piece of chicken. It was covered in white gravy, but the gravy couldn't really save the chicken. Maybe it was just an off night, but based on how highly recommended this dish was, I expected much more. The mashed potatoes were good and the little buttered roll was fine, but neither was particularly memorable. The Brussels sprouts were actually one of the better parts of my meal. They had a sweet glaze and cranberries, with a scoop of a white, cheese-like sauce served alongside them. I'm not completely sure what the sauce was, but the combination was good. My daughter ordered the mac & cheese with bacon crumble. It was a pretty straightforward pasta with a house cheese sauce and bacon on top, but she ate about half of it, so I'd say it was definitely kid-approved. My other kiddo had a simple cheese quesadilla, which was good and exactly what he wanted. We also tried the fried pickles, and those were probably my favorite thing we ordered. The breading was really good, and I liked the seasoning it had a little bit of a spicy kick. A few of the pickles were slightly cold in the center, so they could have used a little more time in the fryer, but overall they were delicious. My only complaint was the very small amount of ranch that came with them. Overall, I think 54th Street has a great atmosphere and a fun, casual environment, but my particular meal didn't really live up to the recommendations I had seen. I'd be willing to come back if I'm ever in San Antonio again and try something different. I don't regret going, and I definitely wouldn't tell someone not to try it. I just wouldn't order the chicken fried chicken again. Maybe I caught them on an off night.
