Very 1st Time here & Definitely will be My Last* To start with for some reason on this rainy Sunday, the A/C wasn't working & it felt like a sauna heat room in here. I looked over the menu & even mentioned to the lady that it's my 1st time here....She said take your time as I looked at the menu, asked a few questions & went with the Wings & Waffle Combo plus Drink for $19.99 plus tax.....I had #22 tag & tried sitting at the counter but I was almost suffocating myself, so I decided to eat outside with the little outdoor seating tables. I told the guy behind counter that I'd be outside, so whenever the Waffle was done to bring it out. Well, it never came & I ate the 6 wings that I had. I was expecting to be blown outta my mind with flavors or tastes that I haven't had for awhile, but Nopeeee it was just some average wings & NOTHING Special. I came back inside to enquire about my Waffle & the young Man from the kitchen came out to tell me that there was an issue with the Waffle & it came out soupy. So I said alrighty then, what ya gonna do for me then? He said they'd give me some more Wings, I said sure, that would do & I really appreciate the kindness & follow through. When they finally told me that the wings we're ready, they must fixed the Waffle maker & gave me a Waffle too. Again, I was thankful & pleased until I took this order TOGO. I attempted to eat the Waffle dry, No Syrup or anything?? Then I took out my receipt & I Immediately was Shocked & Pissed Off The machine I used to checkout had a spot for tips or custom tip, I made the purchase for $19.99 plus tax & tip of $3.00 dollars ~ but when I looked at my sales receipt it showed a 30.00 Tip I said Hellll Nawwww, I called back this location & no answer but I left a vmail about this situation & scenario ~ No One Returned My Call ‼ So NOT Only was this Food OverPriced but also OverRated & scammed Me of an extra $27 Bucks Needless to say, I'm contesting this transaction with My Chase Bank & will get my monies back momentarily ~ But I'm Never-Ever gonna come back or try anything from this Establishment again‼ As far as Me, Myself & I goes....as a Former Chicagoan from the Southside, I've had plenty of Real Soul Food & My Tastebuds have sampled countless delicacies from around America & the Globe I typically don't like to leave "Bad Reviews" but after waiting until today for someone to correct or respond to Me, I felt compelled to explain my outburst & remarks. Nice sized wings with many options for sauces. Wings run about $2 each. Place is definitely a joint. Two tables, and wall bar seating. Most people purchased the wings for takeout. Ordered online and the menu was very clear with good descriptions. The pick up was seamless and ready on time. The person at the counter was friendly and confirmed the items in my order as well as showed them to me. The wings were a good size and very flavorful. I got curry, bbq, and garlic parm. I think the curry was my favorite with a hint Carolina gold sauce. The bbq reminded me of KFC's bbq but better. The garlic parm was dusted in powdered parm wasn't a big fan of those. There is only one or two tables inside so this is definitely a carryout type place. I would certainly order again and try additional flavors. read more

My favorite is the hot honey lemon pepper wings, and then getting the fries with the spicy cayenne ranch sprinkled on them. The wings are extra crispy, which is one of my favorite reasons to come here, and are full of flavor. The service here was really good, although a little on the slow side considering there was only one other couple in there besides us. I understand they make to order, so that's good. I picked off the menu according to one " " so I could have some spice but not too hot. The gal that took our order did say it was more sweet than hot but I was not prepared at all for how sticky sweet they actually were! Like drenched in honey, it was too much. The wings were quite crispy on the outside (weird since so much sauce in the bottom of dish) and more tender on inside. I also ordered small fries with my meal, they were not small BTW, but more like JoJos, which is fine but there was sweet sauce drizzled on the fries too, why?? Overall, it was just too sweet for wings and fries. There was very little seating available, several stools at bars on each side and then three tables with two chairs each. I'm a huge fan of Philly cheesesteaks so I decided to try Wayne's Wings. I was greeted quickly and my order was taken. I got my food pretty quick. Got home and devoured everything. I got a 6" Philly cheesesteak with the combo. The fries were very good. They were still hot when I got home. They were wedge fries and were crispy on the outside but not overcooked. The cheesesteak was phenomenal. The steak had a lot of flavor and the bread was very good. Overall a great meal and I will be back to try the wings next time. read more

These dry, chewy, soggy wings. Man I am so disappointed in everything about this place. The sauces were MID at best. The $80 we spent had gone to waste. No wonder why NO ONE has heard of this place. (For real because we went to the aquarium and they had no clue what Wayne's wings was......) Customer service was okay. The lady at the front was more interested in telling everyone that she's off the clock rather than taking our order. They treated everyone differently. Asked some what seasoning they'd like on the fries and if they wanted flats and drums or just flats. (For us she just said "what flavor I can do 4" didn't offer anything about the fries or bone types.) For all the "wet sauces" we expected them to be hand thrown (since that's what we were told) and they were NOT. These wings got the sauce drizzled on after they were in the plate. And now the fries. The potato wedges (French fries) were the only reason I'm giving it a 2 star. The people who work here are nice, helpful and friendly. If you're looking for great sauces on your wings, this is the place to come. They have their own sauces made in house. The wings come out hot and crunchy and my a greasy soggy mess. The fries are wedges but they are outstanding. Hot crispy and airy. I thought the prices were high. About 2 bucks per wing. They have a hugh variety of sauces to choose from. I order 26 wings and 2 large fries at a cost of 60 bucks... The food was made to order and definitely freshly prepared. The wings are big. The large fries were huge as well. The food was excellent!! Among the best wings I have ever had. In the past, my go to spots for wings were B-Dubs or Wingstop. After relocating to the area, I noticed Wayne's Wings. I went with Honey BBQ and Spicy Curry as my two sauces. When I picked up my order the gentleman running the counter displayed the order before bagging it up. The have a soda fountain so you can dispense your own drink. There are a few tables to dine at but I grabbed my order to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the wings! They were huge! They were crispy and meaty, and I even got an extra wing. The Honey BBQ was the better of the two sauces I tried. I even dipped my fries in it instead of using ketchup. I wasn't feeling the Spicy Curry so much. Didn't seem spicy at all. The fries were done right. I liked that you could dust them with spices for no extra charge. This was my first time here. The wings were huge and saucy just how I like em. The cashier was super sweet and helpful towards all my questions. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately I was disappointed to find out that the rather pricey meal that I chose doesnt even come with 1 complimentary ranch cup. For a bill that is over 50 dollars for two people to eat, you would think you can get at least a ranch cup on the side. Also when I was leaving I requested some wet naps for my hands. The cashier said they didnt have those but that I could use the employee sink . Come to find out that the restaurant was out of soap completely. Cashier checked the back and came back out saying they didnt have anymore soap. That tells me that all those employees who are working on prepping and cooking customers food are not properly washing their hands. The buffalo wings had a good sauce on them, but that couldn't hide the breaded soggy wings, maybe the sell them naked I don't know.
