    Mac N Chick Bowl

Wait wasn't too bad. staff weren't overly friendly by any means. the chicken i got was good, i got it in medium and the spice level was fine, i maybe expected more from medium but its my first time trying and everyone makes it different. the order my husband and i got was chicken tenders and fries, and the chicken mac and cheese bowl. the breading on the tenders literally came right off of his chicken, which whatever not a big deal, he still ate it. but i did not expect my mac and cheese bowl with chicken to literally be macaroni noodles and chicken on top with their sauce on top of it -- i guess there's no cheese to be found there. probably wouldn't come again ‍

The location was small but clean. We visited the location at 6PM and parking was limited due to surrounding businesses parking and limited spaces. The food arrived quickly however, we were the only customers at the time. The food items ordered were bland in taste, 5/10. The strawberry shake was decent, 6/10. The cashier was polite and friendly.

I was torn between three and four stars. I decided on the fourth star because I didn't feel it right deducting a second star just because I may have made the wrong decision on a sauce. I got here right about the time they opened. Seated right away and read a book while awaiting a friend to join. Ultimately, my friend stood me up. I was waited on at perfect intervals during my waiting period. This place is nicer inside than you'd expect just seeing it from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I ordered the Banban and opted for the Smokey Mayo. I also ordered the white garlic fries, which I found bland, which was surprising given the amount of sauce. Fries came out first. I would have preferred the fries come out with the wings, but the wings took FOREVER. I literally finished my fries before the wings arrived. I think the waitstaff knew it took too long given the apology received when the food arrived. Wouldn't do the Smokey mayo again I just didn't like it. Borderline too spicy (listen to the on the menu) for me. The original was okay. As a matter of fact, I think I enjoyed the wings more as leftovers than I did in the restaurant. Overall: it's okay; I'm glad I tried it. I might go back if a friend wanted to try it. I found the $45 tab kinda high for just me. And to the young employee who decided to do her eye makeup while standing behind in the middle is the restaurant but behind the register, I couldn't care less, but some people might find it unprofessional. This isn't Sephora.

First of all it was kinda overwhelming lol so many options and choices Final decision ..... hubby ordered the maiko ube special and we ordered the soft serve ube/matchas on a cone. What I have tried though, was Maiko's Matcha Latte, their ice cream, and their ramen hot dog. I came with a group of three... the other two got another matcha drink and as well as a potato hot dog. The unique thing about these hot dogs in the area is that they come in many varieties, and give you a choice of full mozzarella cheese or hot dog on the inside of it, or the choice of going half and half. Coming out of state, specifically from Arizona, it's not something I have seen. The staff, however, are quite friendly. The sauces that they serve with the hotdogs... pretty decent. Can be messy from how thin the sauce is, but the prices are somewhat decent. Better than average in food as well, not a bad place to stop by. I suggest you try. In a year or two, I will come back, and try Pelicana. Within good conscience, I can't rate it 5 stars due to the lack of a completed experience. Regardless... see for yourself. If you have coming just for Maiko, look on the side of the building. We had some trouble locating it initially, but regardless, not bad. The interior was big, enough for people to sit and eat at. There were also spaces to work if you wanted to.

I'm guessing once the initial rush dies down, the experience might feel a bit more relaxed. When I first walked in, there was a slight unpleasant smell, kind of like body odor, which wasn't the best first impression. That said, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though I ordered through the kiosk (which was easy and straightforward to use), employees still checked in to see if I needed anything. After placing my order, it took about 10-15 minutes to get my food, which felt reasonable considering how crowded it was. I decided to sit outside since it was a nice day, and they do have both indoor and outdoor seating options. As for the food--portions are definitely generous. I ordered two sliders (mild spice level) and a salad. The sliders had thick pieces of chicken, and while they were filling, the chicken itself was a bit too thick for my liking and didn't have much flavor beyond the spicy seasoning on the outside. On the positive side, the sauce on the sliders was really good. The salad was also a standout--I genuinely enjoyed it. The fries were another highlight: fresh, crispy, and paired well with the sauce. Overall, this visit felt a bit hit-or-miss, possibly because of how busy things were. I'm willing to give it another try down the line to see if the experience improves once things settle. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself.

I don't like drumsticks, but I'll deal with a drummette. I know, I know. I asked for a thigh and wing and selected bbq beans and Mac n' cheese as my sides. A young employee told us they "don't take orders at the counter" and directed us to the kiosk. We complied, despite my senior-citizen aunt needing counter assistance for specific requests. Then we watched other customers ordering at the counter. When my aunt asked for a manager, MJ told her the counter was for cash-paying customers only. When I questioned that explanation, the reason changed to "we're busy." Another manager, Zxavier, gave essentially the same excuse while acknowledging that not taking counter orders wasn't their policy. As someone who previously worked as a Jollibee dining manager in the Philippines, I understand busy. What I don't understand is giving customers different explanations instead of simply being honest and finding a solution. What frustrated me most was the lack of ownership. I was repeatedly asked what they could do for me rather than being offered a meaningful solution. I wasn't looking for freebies or compensation--I simply expected a manager to take initiative and properly address the service failure. If the employee had simply said, "I'm sorry, let me find someone who can assist you," this entire situation could have been avoided. Jollibee: good food serves good service. Today, the service fell far short. The repeated excuses and apologies without accountability were more disappointing than anything we ordered. I want to continue being proud of Jollibee as a Filipino, more so since I used to worked here. Simply frustrating!
