Stopped by around brunch time recently and it was a solid experience. The service was great and my ham n eggs was delicious. Will be back next time I get out that way!

Wayside is classic Idaho roadside fare. Typical cafe food with an all day breakfast menu. A local stop for breakfast and lunch that always has specials on the board. Service is fine but not amazing. Food comes out slow and when it does it's fine. There is nothing modern, fusion or cutting edge about the place and thats how locals want it. The pie is good and seems fresh made.

Found by accident searching for food open late, has truck parking open 24 hours, food yummy nice employees,fast... Meat in the sauce, bread is dark because I prefer it that way.Hubby said blt was good.Only thing salad was plain but now I know so I'll get the soup option next time..Very reasonable prices

Very busy place!! Food was an hour wait. Traveling with chicken fried steak lover and he was not impressed. Their CFS is "rubbery" and lacks flavor. Portion s are huge. Breakfast sandwich with sourdough was best ever!! Highly recommend eggs Benedict!! Very flavorful!! The scone (fry bread) was fried dough. No flavor. I added butter and honey, that was 3/10. Hash browns are crispy on outside and mushy in middle. I enjoyed them‍ Service was good. For as busy as they were 6/10. Some sassy comments to other diners but like I said it was VERY busy so... Pancakes had really good flavor. They are huge!!! High stack could feed 4 people!!

Very poor service. Waited 40 minutes to get partially cold food with almost no taste. You have to pay for your water at this place.

Great breakfast. Cheap, filling, tasty. Our server was an expert: lots of coffee refills, supersweet, good recommendations.

Typical small town cafe. Breakfast 24/7. Gigantic portions. Their biscuits are more like cake than a true biscuit.

I was in Jerome the other day for a biopsy at their local St Luke's. I have never been to Jerome…read moreso of course I wanted to check out a couple local joints. Jerome is a bit away from Boise so I wanted to us my time wisely. I have to see what this cool little town offered. I had researched local restaurants and coffee joints in the area before heading to Jerome. Renew had quite a few great reviews and after talking to the receptionist at St. Luke's, he suggested Renew well. I took that as a solid recommendation and made my friend drive me there. My friend and I walked in and were immediately greeted by 4 people behind the counter. I appreciate a staff that is so friendly to their customers! The venue is this joint is huge! There's pool tables, a lot of available seating, a kids area and a stage for local talent to perform. I can imagine this place being a sweet spot to hang out on the weekends. Grab a drink or an ice cream and enjoy your night. My friend and I decided to just order a couple drinks and absorb the vibe. There were plenty of baked goodies that were calling our names but we held off. The cinnamon roll they had on display was massive. There was plenty of frosting on that baby and I would have eaten the whole thing without any guilt. I was so tempted to get it but I knew it would ruin my lunch. I snagged an iced americano with sugar free white chocolate and cream. My friend got a hot mocha with a couple extra shots of espresso. I did ask for my drink to be a hair sweeter. I looking forward to my first caffeinated beverage of the day. My drink did not disappoint. It was so good! The espresso wasn't bitter, plenty of cream and the sweetness level was perfection. We sat and chilled. There were locals having lunch. Other locals enjoying each other's company and coffee. Its just an all around great space to be. I'm happy I got to check out this local coffee joint. I can see why a lot of people recommend and speak highly of it. If I'm ever on the road and need a cup of coffee, I will be making a pit stop to Renew for that drink. I know it's going to be good.

Great coffee place. Loved the coffee, loved the ambiance, loved the service.... Highly…read morerecommended!

The food here was absolutely awesome and earned smiles around the table. My mother-in-law really enjoyed the strawberry crepes and my wife and I both loved the steak and eggs. Kari was an absolutely awesome server too. We always run into problems, especially with breakfast due to some dairy issues that we both share and Kari was very pleasant and accommodating to ensure we were taken care of. Definitely get here early because the locals definitely know how good it is. By time we were done, there was a huge line out the door. Absolutely crushed it!

The food was okay-if a little bland on the hashbrown gravy. However, prior to getting our meal half of the dining room we were in was closed off and before we finished our meal (a good 45 minutes before closing) they were vacumning on the other side of the partition they'd pulled across. Not particularly welcoming, Elmer's and it's not the first time it has happened to us. This doesn't even include the table full of tomorrow's set ups that employees were working and gabbing at. Ultimately, either you're open or you're not. Vacumning around people trying to eat is rude. Be better.
