So disappointed with Brick 243. I made a reservation for 6 guests for May 2, 2026 at 5:00 pm . I received the reservation reminder the day before via email so I presumed we were set. Upon arriving, my guests and I were so disappointed to find out that the restaurant closed early without any notice. We were able to ask a staff member as she was leaving why the restaurant was closed, she informed us that they had had a wedding party and were tired, so they decided to close. I was not given any notice of the change of hours, neither by email nor by phone. All 6 of us were coming from out of town. I consider this lack of communication poor customer service. read more

We frequent the Brik whenever we want a great dinner in Pocatello. The 5 course dinner with wine pairing is so delicious. The occasional pizza night is a great option too, but my favorite dinner choice: start with a family wedge, move on to a bowl of soup, then a crostini assortment. We were so excited to try this place on our road trip and could not have been more disappointed. Goat cheese app tasted like Philadelphia cream cheese drenched in a half cup honey. Mushroom crostini tasted like canned cream of mushroom soup they boiled down to concentrate and then drenched in packaged parm. Tacos were cold and unseasoned. Spent almost $100 and left hungry. The menu is very short and they ran out of a good bit of it while we were there. Avoid! read more

What this place lacks in size it makes up for in service and taste! The husb and I walked in on a Saturday night and we're fortunate enough to get a table without a reservation considering the small size of the restaurant. The server came by quickly to bring us menus. After a few quick minutes, he returned to inform us of the draft list and take our drink orders. Drinks came out quickly and we ordered the soup of the day - which was a chicken tortilla (my favorite!) - and The Eight - a sample of all four of their crostini flavors. This place specializes in crostinis and charcuterie so we definitely wanted to try them but I would return for some of their sandwiches in the future. Crostinis came out quickly and our server explained each one, their order in terms of sweet vs savory, and their temperature of hot to cold. They were all delicious but my favorites were probably the Smoked Alaskan and Truffle Shuffle. The crostinis were crispy on the edges but soft in the middle and the texture complimented the toppings well. Every bite was tantalizing. All in all, a great experience and I'll definitely be back. If you are a bigger group, I definitely recommend making a reservation so you aren't disappointed if they're at capacity. read more

I am a native to Pocatello and will recommend this location over any other for an easy evening out. Not a formal dining experience with heavy entrees but rather shareable dishes and delights. I rarely go out (mother of young children) but I always choose this location due to the ease and comfort of the atmosphere. Everything about this place is consistently remarkable. The atmosphere is unlike any other in southeast Idaho and it feels like a big-city hole in the wall. The food is decadent, fun and easy to share with the table. What a find. It ticks all the boxes. Friendly service, just the right amount of food choices that are well presented and delicious. The mushroom chowder is delectable, the wedge salad was a cut above. We loved the combination of dill with sweetend pecans and gorganzola crumbles. The crustini were all delicious. Wine list is small but we really enjoyed our selection. We topped it off with chocolate mousse that was out of this world. The ambiance is quiet with nice background music and just a really pleasant speakeasy feel. We are from LA where there are a lot of choices, Brick 243 is right up there with the best we've enjoyed ever. Don't change a thing. Keep on innovating. What delightful experience. read more

Unparalleled friendly service in a fantastic location in old town. Food and beverages were excellent and very well presented and the interior --while small-- was well laid out, cozy and meticulously maintained. Some members of our party didn't eat meat, which absolutely wasn't an issue as the menu featured a carefully-curated array of crostini that shined with or without meat.
