This is probably my favorite sushi joint. Both this location, and the one in Atascocita. I go to school right down the road, so I'm here at least once a week. Since the very first time I sat down at either location I was happily greeted and thoroughly enjoyed the classic rock music in the background. The sushi chef's are all down to earth, happy, and funny.The atmosphere is awesome, local art and classic music with a rustic vibe. Most definitely a spot to check out. read more

This was the second time we visited here. The first time was so GREAT. The food, service and atmosphere was the best we have had in Baytown. The sushi rolls were a work of art. This time not so much. The food had to have been made by someone new. It was nothing like before. Everything on the plates look like they were thrown together with a garnish of bagged salad mix. We were so disappointed. I was so excited to finally have a great sushi place near me. Now im mot sure it we will be back. I dont know how EVERYTHING could be GREAT the first visit and terrible the second time. read more

So we came on a Friday evening. It was practically empty and they had 3 and later 4 servers. Considering it was us and just a couple of other people the service was SLOW. However, the food was good for the most part, except the ginger salad which used either old or expired lettuce and the fish tacos were somewhat underwhelming. I really hope this place succeeds but they need to train their wait staff and adjust their staff rotation. We came in for sushi and the food was decent except the rainbow roll. That was terrible and not fresh. The wait staff is soooooo slow and awful. They brought out my wife's meal and not mine. When they finally brought mine out she was almost done and they only brought out half of mine. I waited another 20 minutes for my rainbow roll to come out. It was gross and not fresh. I asked my waitress for our check by that time as we had been there over a hour and had somewhere to be. She took another 20 minutes to get our check and waited on other tables. Please keep in mind we went on a Tuesday evening and there were only 8 people and 4 tables to serve. They had 3 employees that we saw. We won't ever come back. $60 for two people.. read more

I think they are still working on the details, but I consider this establishment more a hybrid of Korean/Mexican/Japanese. I enjoyed the bowl (Korean style), but the sushi needs some improvement. They have a very nice presentation, so I hope to see improvements. read more

An old Baytown downtown building up-cycled into a casual sushi diner with a unique spin at a good price. I saw the restaurant while at the Farmers Market and wanted to go back for my birthday, so glad I did. My husband had the special, a seafood platter with perfect batter on the shrimp, whitefish and oysters. We had the Crab Rangoon with a spicy mayo and other Asian sauce variations. I had the Spicy Tuna Roll, extra pickled Ginger please. We split a Fried Cheesecake that was wonderful. The place is family or chilax oriented with a board game selection to play while you're waiting. The Saki is traditionally warm and my preference is to drink it with some pineapple juice added. We went last night for the first time. The place is nice with original, local artwork on the walls. We ordered crab rangoon for an appetizer and it was delicious. Between the two of us, we tried two sushi rolls (Spicy Tuna and the Jolly Green Giant) and the Maui Tacos. All three plates were great-both flavor and presentation. Our server was very attentive and genuinely cared about our experience. This was a great date night place and we will definitely be back. read more

Best sushi place in Baytown! We come at least once a week! Service is awesome and the owners are amazing people.

This was one of the WORST dining experiences we've had. We were seated almost immediately. The waitress took our drink order and left the menus. It took her 10 minutes to bring us our drinks and she apologized saying that they only have one tray. She took our order and then we waited, and waited, and waited. We noticed that the kitchen was completing an entire table's order, appetizers and entree, so that the food was coming out very close together, before bringing another table their food. The service was incredibly slow. For about 1 hour and 20 minutes we sat with no food. The waitress continued to tell us that there were lots of tables in front of us and that was the reason for the delay, and that our food would be coming soon. Finally, tables who were seated after us received their food. She then came over and said that the ticket she put out order on fell down and the kitchen didn't have our order. Clearly she hadn't been checking on our order as she had previously stated. Rather than putting our order in right away she tried to figure out what happened and explain that it was a computer error. We weren't concerned with the reasons we didn't have our food, we just wanted to eat. She took our order again. At this point we had been at this place for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Finally, our food started to arrive. It was ok. Definitely NOT worth a 2 hour wait. The waitress was very apologetic, but we will not be back. The staff needs to figure out how to handle multiple tables at once. This is a small restaurant, 12-15 tables at the most. 3 servers and 3 people behind the sushi bar should be more than enough to accommodate a restaurant or this size. read more
