After receiving an email I guessed the text had something to do with my tickets so I called ticketcity, yes the text was for my tickets. I requested another text or email but only received excuse after excuse. Multiple calls over several days with one excuse after another and no tickets. Poor customer service that will not or can not make decisions to solve issues. This was my first and last time using ticketcity. Guess my only option is to dispute charges with my credit card company.

BUYER BEWARE: TicketCity are Rip-Off Artists!…read more Their guarantee states "You will receive the same tickets you purchased" and if not you will get a refund. The tickets I received were THIRTEEN ROWS below the tickets I purchased! This is unacceptable, especially at a football game as we would nit be able to see, which is why we purchased Row S... not Row F which they gave us! It took two days and many frustrating hours of phone calls to even reach a human. Each time they would transfer us back to the digitized voice with NO option to choose that matched our problem. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! FINALLY got someone who after 45 mins of going back and forth with "We don't give refunds" and us quoting their review, they finally agreed to the refund, told us they put it through to our Paypal account and we'd have our refund in 3-5 days. LIES! It has been a week and STILL no refund. I filed a claim on Paypal and now they are telling me they can't help me because I filed a claim with Paypal, when all they would have to do is issue the refund through the claim to close it! This company has nearly 50 complaints on Better Business Bureau. Horrible company. In response to the company response: ZACK: NO YOU DID NOT ACCEPT THE CHARGEBACK! I just spoke with Paypal and they are STILL awaiting seller response on this case... you have NOT responded in the 7 days the case has been open, and there has been no refund issued. Why lie???

There were lots of food vendors all around which was a nice but they're mostly unhealthy food (pizza, burgers, fries, nachos). The only downside was that the sound system was not that great. Drinks are overpriced as expected at a venue like this and food prices are also on the higher side, though not as bad as the drinks. Hoop Tea ($14.75): A lightly spiked iced tea but it was enough to hold us through the entire concert. We went to Chick-fil-A one time and Stubb's Bar-B-Q another. At Stubb's we split the ATX Burger ($16) and onion rings ($8) and both were pretty darn good. The burger came with crispy chips but the onion rings were the real winner.

There honestly isn't a bad seat in the place, and the number of shows they bring in just keeps getting better and better. The food options are surprisingly solid for a venue, and of course the champagne selection is amazing every time. One of the best parts is how easy everything is logistically too -- quick Uber drop zone and I can basically be home within minutes after a show. Always a fun experience and definitely one of the best places in Austin to catch live music.

This venue is absolutely stunning. The combination of open green space, modern design, and downtown skyline views creates a unique atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive at the same time. It's the kind of place where you can spread out on the lawn or sit closer to the stage and still feel completely immersed in the show. The acoustics are incredible--clear, balanced, and powerful without being overwhelming. Every note and lyric came through perfectly, which made an already amazing performance even more memorable. I also love how seamlessly the amphitheater blends into Waterloo Park. It doesn't feel like a typical concert venue--it feels like a thoughtfully designed outdoor experience where music, nature, and the city all come together. Whether you're seeing a legendary artist like Sting or just catching a local show, I highly recommend attending a concert here. Moody Amphitheater is truly one of Austin's gems and a must-visit for music lovers.

One of the biggest advantages is that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Even if you're farther from the stage, you still feel close to the performance. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the drink selection was solid with plenty of alcohol options available. The biggest downside is the food. There was only one food truck during our visit, so your options are very limited. Another thing to be aware of is the parking. The venue provides parking recommendations, but depending on where you park and whether you have VIP access, you may end up on the wrong side of the venue and have a much longer walk to the entrance than expected. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I'd definitely come back. Just eat beforehand and double-check your parking location if you don't have VIP access.

My boyfriend and I will go to Bike Farm next door for bike service. We've have a few beers at Little Longhorn etc, but this one time (4:30 pm on a Wednesday) we went in recently. NO ONE was in there and I set my bag on a barstool, of maaaaaany open barstools. An older man walks up and says' "I MADE THIS BAR WITH HOOKS so you can put your purse underneath. It wasn't what he said, it was how he said it with a condescending attitude and tone. I was apparently a menace or "youngin" being rude. I removed my purse from the stool and put it on the way too tiny hook for anyone's bag and then LITERALLY NO ONE sat there the next 40 minutes until we left. I'm always thoughtful, that if it's a crowded place, that I wouldn't take up a stool with my bag . Him, his comment and attitude were unnecessary. Whether he "built" the bar or not. You're running customers off by having a shit attitude. See you never LLS and crappy attitude old man "who built the bar"

Funny enough, even though it's called Upstairs Circus, I kept calling it "Uptown Circus" for some reason and still do. My sister had been here once when she first moved to Austin, but it had been a while, so she was happy to go again. We tried to make a reservation for a Monday but found out they're closed that day unless it's a private event. So we ended up booking a Sunday evening during their Sangria Sundays event. Signing up online was quick and easy--no payment required upfront. When we arrived, we were seated at a table and given the option to sit side by side or across from each other. They handed us a laminated flyer with all the available project options, ranging from easy (about an hour) to more challenging projects that can take the full three-hour session. There was a good mix of household items (like coasters and magnetic shelves), jewelry, handbags, clutches, accessories, and even a pricier custom Nike shoe painting project. The sample projects looked very professional, but the final result really depends on your artistic skills and how focused you are during the session. My sister and I decided to pick different projects--she chose a handbag clutch, and I went with coasters. We got all our materials and instructions. One thing I noticed: this kind of activity is probably better suited for people who don't have a ton to catch up on while working. Since my sister and I hadn't seen each other for weeks, we were trying to talk and catch up, which made it harder for me to focus on the project. Some steps were time-sensitive, so juggling both conversation and crafting was a bit stressful. For my coaster project, I initially planned to use a stencil and transfer paper to trace a design, but it didn't work very well. I ended up switching to a simple two-color block design just to make sure I could finish in time. My sister's project was a bit more advanced--she had to do leather hole punching and threading--but she managed to finish and loved how her clutch turned out. Since it was Sangria Sunday, you get one complimentary sangria or mocktail with your reservation, and they keep a card on file if you want to order more drinks. I got a spicy cocktail that actually had really good flavor, even though I didn't finish it. Overall, this is a fun and unique activity if you want to do something creative with a friend or group. I'd recommend it more if you're looking to spend quality time doing something together rather than having a deep conversation--because focusing on the project definitely takes some attention. My sister was happy with her finished product, and I liked mine even if it turned out simpler than planned. It's a cool idea for a birthday, date night, or just a different kind of outing.
