Unfortunately, he does a quick inspection and unintentionally underestimates the work that he will end up doing and over promises. It takes him forever to complete a job, as he constantly leaves the job to go get supplies he should have brought with him to start with. He never arrives before 10 a.m. at the earliest, he scratched up my brass fireplace screen and removed the insulation when he took it for some repairs and was going to put in new insulation. He reinstalled it without insulation, unbeknownst to me at the time, and I ended up having to pay someone else to come to my home and do that. He quit returning my calls and e-mails, and has now left town and moved to Florida with the promise he will return in a few months. He left a job for friends of mine with much still to be done, and, unfortunately, they had gone ahead and paid him. They have no idea when or if he will be back. My suggestion is do not pay him until the job is completed to your satisfaction, and expect him to take months to complete it, as he works in fits and starts and ends up taking forever to do something that was initially stated would take 2-5 days. I think he means well, but he just has no clue how to run a business.

When they arrived they introduced themselves and explained exactly what was going to be done. They inspected our fireplace and recommended that they clean it which we would have done anyway. They inspected our whole fireplace and took some pictures for their report of things we need to think about in the next year. Our home is 21 years old so I am not surprised. We are very happy with the price of this service and felt we got a great deal. We now know with confidence we will be able to have a fire this upcoming season.

Good pricing along with good reviews, what did I have to lose? Our technician, Alberto, was professional, very thorough and took his time to do a good job. Admittedly, for the low cleaning/inspection price, I was expecting a laundry list of issues (upselling services); That was not the case at all! They identified a fault with the seal around the gas pipe which was not with proper material and were able to correct and seal it properly.
