When I told him the house temperature was 7 degrees off from the thermostat, he did not acknowledge this. Checked the unit again, and found a defective part of less than a year old. Thankfully they agreed to replace that under warranty. After 3 weeks, a former Total Comfort technician showed up and replaced the defective thermostat, with what seems to be a decent one. If you use these people make sure to ask for one of the good old boys from TC. I give 5 stars for him, but zero for the ACS person although he was a very nice boy.

Then I speak to the manager who tried to justify his actions by saying they miscommunicated with Thomas. NOPE! It is my fault for not asking for a printed out quote but stay away from any company that lacks integrity. Kovack Mechanical Inc, was recommended to us for our AC issues. At first it seemed ok but after…read moresigning and financing it became a nightmare. My AC went out on July 2nd, they came out July 3rd and told us they would be there to install on July 9th. I received a text and email confirmation. At 2pm on the 9th I called to find out when they were coming to install and the owner said that they were coming Thursday and had no idea why I received a confirmation beyond him telling me as well he was coming that day. When they arrived they displayed no customer service in assuring that I knew they were on my property or their game plan how they were going to get the unit place. The owner went to remove the unit from his trailer and did not properly unchain the unit causing it to fall off the skid steer and dent it. They also did not remove the tracks on the bottom so it would have a properly displacement of weight on the new pad. After speaking to the owner earlier that week I found him to be condescending and rude. He talks over me the entire time I tried to talk and ask questions so I can be prepared for his arrival. During installation my husband and I decided it to be best if he looked at it when he got home from work and dealt with him rather than me. When he came home we found not only the unit dented, but trash everywhere, sloppy installation, the unit not leveled, gaps under the damaged pad, and no p-trap installed on the drain but yet placed so that the runoff would erode the unit over time. They sent the owners son out to fix it twice. We told him to have his dad call so that we can discuss the damage. I refused to approve payment until that discussion. When he finally called, again condescending and talked over me. He said the unit was not damaged that it worked. I said you know what why don't you call my husband and you all discuss this, I don't appreciate not getting a chance to say what I have to say. To which he said he's going to put a lien on my house. I am fully prepared to release the funds but not for a dented unit. If you purchased a brand new truck and the dealer dented it, would you still take it because it still works? Horrible company, disrespectful towards women, not at all good communicators and display very poor workmanship.

My mother just purchased…read morea house that had some AC issues and Kovack was sent out before their close date to "repair" the AC. They went out on 8/27/21, checked the unit, and said that the grills upstairs were closed and that was the only issue. They opened the grills and said that the AC was fixed. A week after my mother's close date, two weeks after Kovack went out to the property, the AC completely shut off. We had a different company, Elite Comfort Services, come to inspect as well as had Kovack go back out. Elite found damaged external wires, spliced wires at the unit, missing disconnect boxes, and a few items that were not up to code. The second time Kovack went out, they only gave us a report for the damaged external wires. Again, not a thorough inspection. How did they not see the damaged/spliced external wires the first time? Why did they not report the damaged wires to the previous owner for repair? Isn't is suspicious that the AC was not working, but opening the grills fixed it? They informed me on the phone that they did not conduct a full inspection the first time because they were not told to do so by the previous owner, but then turned around and told my mother's agent that they conducted a full inspection and nothing was wrong. So which is it? Was a full inspection conducted or not? If so, where is the report? This was supposed to be fixed before my mother's close date, and because Kovack did not do their job correctly my mother had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. We went with Elite Comfort Solutions because they conducted a full inspection and were very informative and knowledgeable. We did not trust Kovack to complete the job correctly and expected for Kovack to find additional items that needed to be addressed. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Had a work-in visit today from Airmaster for a old old old unit that stopped working over the…read moreweekend. The horizontal unit is tucked away in a kneewall and is difficult to access the drain pan....which was the entirety of the problem. Clogged drainline which resulted in a float switch stopping the entire unit until emptied. The closed in area was no problem for the tech, Richard...who unclogged the line and then heaved himself into the knee wall between the rafters and horizontal furnace in order to clean the pan. Checking the pressure at the condensing unit, we had sufficient everything including temp testing the supply and return ducts....he wrapped it up in less than an hour and back to cooling off that portion of our home. It always an expense to call in for any maintenance and repair on any part of your home....but fair prices and good workers makes it worth the while for my continuing to call back AirMaster.

First he was on time, he actually beat me to my own house and I'm very punctual. Once there he explained everything he was going to do before he got started. He thoroughly checked my HVAC unit and reported everything was in proper working condition. When he came inside to check the thermostat he noticed I had a wifi enabled thermostat. My home warranty wouldn't allow him to touch it (liability) but he was able to explain to me what I should look for to be the issue. We discussed the thermostat. Mr. Lyons explained that the thermostat I have is still under warranty and he suggested that I give them a call because they are a great company and stand behind their products and they are probably going to end up sending me a new one based on what we discussed to be the issue. I called them and was off and on the phone with them for 5hr. In the midst of me being on the phone with them I called Mr. Lyons back and explained to him what was going on. He told me to tell them the the system is working in proper condition and the blue wire is the main wire (paraphrased). Once I told the thermostat company that they ran multiple test to the point we blew the fuse troubleshooting. I had to run to Home Depot to get a new fuse!!! Once the thermostat company finally got my AC running they stated that my thermostat is faulty and because it's still under warranty they are sending me a brand new one (Just like Mr.Lyons said) and I can discard the current one once it comes in. If it wasn't for Mr. Lyon's I wouldn't have known my thermostat was still under warranty. I wouldn't have known what to say to them and I wouldn't be sitting in the AC right now. Definitely appreciate his thoroughness!

She was so friendly and helpful and made me feel secure asking a lot of questions. The second impression Allgood United Services made was by sending Marcus their technician to my house. Marcus was very professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable and I immediately knew that I had made the right decision to hire Allgood United Services. The final interaction was the install date when Marcus, Pierce, and Tanner came to my house, introduced themselves and were so respectful of my home and polite to me. I felt completely safe and confident having them in my home and knew that they were doing the best job for my house. I have been in the service industry for 32 plus years. I owned my own business and supported myself based on the work that I promised and produced. So, I am very in tune to great service and sincere quality and care by staff and employees. All four of these individuals that I had contact with, treated the business like it was their own and took pride in the work and final product. They scheduled me and in about few days technician showed up and installed updated "hard start" kit on my outside AC unit. Documents show AC unit is under warranty for 5 years, however I was billed by Allgood Unified 200$. After calling and explaining to customer service they agreed that it was under warranty and demanded that I pay labor and trip fee of 140$. After asking for explanation why factory unit needed updated part and why is it not covered by warranty, they could not give me a reason other than "parts go out". Person on the phone was upset after I was concerned as to why is warranty not covering defect after only 2 years of light use. Technician did do his job but Allgood Unified charged me for repair that should have been under warranty. I did not get a reason on why parts simply could not be replaced with another new part. They claimed manufacturer was not able to refund them for the part (or trip fee they charged me) and I was not able to find Allgood factory phone number or customer service info to Allgood AC unit. I do not recommend this business.
