This is an update from my Nov 15 visit. **UPDATE** So here it is May 2016 & my daughter and I have continued going to see everyone at WCD. As I said before - I absolutely hated the dentist. I dealt with this by avoiding the dentist which was a huge mistake. My smile was absolutely horrible, to the point where I didn't smile any more and my hand would go in front of my face when I would laugh or smile. Now I look forward to going to the dentist and seeing everybody at We Care Dental. I've never laughed sitting in a dentist chair but now I do. Everyone has made me feel so at ease every visit. Can't honestly say enough good things about this place and everybody there. We are both so happy with the progress made on both of us. They gave me my smile back and I feel like a whole new person now. Thank you!!! read more

There are no words to describe how wonderful WE CARE DENTAL is. The first time going there, afterwards in the parking lot, I called all my friends and husband to tell them that I finally found the best dental office ever. I am writing on behalf of my mother a review for We Care Dental. They traumatized my mother so much that she's still reliving her breast cancer having nightmares because of very young student unexperienced Dentist in the making was way over the top when he was asking my mom medical questions from A-to-Z all we needed was impressions for partials. My mother is 76 and not in great health all she wanted was impressions that day that's it but he wanted to keep her for three hours. Then on top of that disaster they escorted her out of the building to men escorted her out of the building I was waiting outside. And she was crying and shaking. We are now at the doctors office and discussing what new dentist she's going to be able to go to that's not gonna treat her like that. read more

Nathan just had his second appointment here at We Care Dental and got his very first tooth pulled out!!! this was a huge deal for us being that Nathan is autistic and he does not take pain or new experiences well at all! He didn't sedate much under the laughing gas which I kind of expected because he's a pretty strong boy but they did such an amazing job with him and still kept him calm even though he was very well aware of what what going on. He's such a little champ and they took such good care of him! They had me out of the room but close enough for him to hear my voice so he was comfortable until he was calm enough to start I TRULY cannot say enough good about We Care Dental! I was terrified of the Dentist until I found this place and avoided seeing a Dentist for over 10 years because of it! So thankful for this place read more

I made this appt 9 weeks ago as they do not take new patients .. I work full-time and my father is retired, so my father took them when I get there they told him they can't be seen because they need me to bring my ID down and to find a paper. I asked them why they didn't tell me this when I confirm the appointment or when I was making the appointment and they said that should be common sense that most people take their own children and not grandparents. I think it's ridiculous that you make an appointment for almost 3 months in advance and they cannot tell you come down and show your ID and do the paperwork if you're not the guardian because they think you automatically know this how am I supposed to know that? So now 9 weeks are waisted. Lack on there poor management part ..... read more

I had a 3-D scan for $200 at another dentist, and they didn't even know I had a tiny cavity. This dentist found the problem and fixed it. Best cleaning I have ever had too. And...The women at the front desk are as efficient as efficient gets. All I can say is I AM OVER THE MOON HAPPY that I found this office. I have gone to three dentists here where I live, and I haven't liked any of the officers, as they try and sell me services I don't need, and that's the truth!!! read more

We Care Dental Facility in Rancho Mirage is amazing. I am just now completing a whole lot of dental work and could not be happier with the outcome. I've had deep cleanings, five crowns, a great referral for a potentially complicated oral surgery and a root canal is upcoming. All this needing to be done after nine years with a former dentist. All of the work has been top notch, pain free and everyone is caring, concerned and friendly. The entire staff is completely competent, very professional and accommodating. Great service! The people there are really great and friendly. There used to be a really rude an awefull receptionist there but I haven't seen her the last two visits and I think they have a great staff now. The manager guy can use alittle more compassion for clients that come in with emergencies but other than that he's ok I guess.. Anyhow I give it a big thumbs up this time around. read more

New to the area, I made an appointment with We Care for an exam and cleaning. That went well and was very through. I needed a cavity filled so came back for the next appointment which wasn't so pleasant as it took the dentist more than 2 hours to complete the filling, the whole time I have my mouth open and it became quite uncomfortable to be in that situation for so long a period of time. read more

I've been coming here for over a year now and I love it! The students are amazing and you can tell how much they love doing this. The staff is exceptional as well. I even brought my 3year old son here for his first dentist appointment and he had a blast! If there was something to complain about I'd say it would be the parking but that's it. read more

Wonderful!!! Best office I've been to yet. I love that newer DR's come in and work after graduating or still in training. They know and have the latest knowledge on dental. It's like a family in here and the main dentist here? she is great! All my life I've hated to go to the dentist and had to take Valium before a visit even for X-rays but they make u feel so comfortable and welcomed that scared feeling is no more. They take their time and explain everything and show you what's going on or to be done. You're not at all rushed through to get to the next one waiting in the lobby. Well all I have to say is thank God for We Care Dental. I was in excruciating pain on and off for about a month after having some prior work start failing and not being able to see anyone for it during COVID. I didn't have a dentist I was currently a patient under and desperately needed to be seen ASAP. Derrick was amazing at making sure I was able to be seen immediately the next morning. He sent me all the paperwork I'd need filled out so I wouldn't have to sit and fill it out in pain at the office. Once I arrived the staff was professional and had me fill out an extra form for COVID precautions and got me in quickly. I was greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome by Monica who took my x-rays and made sure to take extra precautions when I informed her I may be expecting. Soon I was greeted by Ryan who gave me a thorough exam and explained that the work would be specialized and may need to be referred out to a specialist. When he came back with a referral he said that my insurance would unlikely cover the $2,000.00 price tag and that if I felt comfortable with him proceeding he felt confident that he could manage the work for a quarter of the cost. He was very clear that there was a possible need for extraction if the procedure did not work as would be the case in any scenario and that I should make sure I was comfortable allowing him the opportunity to take it on. I could tell he knew he could do it but didn't want me to feel pressured to have the work done there and I just knew all would be well after all was said and done. Well we have a little more work left to go, but the initial procedure went excellent and Ryan and Monica turned out to be a dream team. Very attentive, thorough, respectful, friendly, and relaxed. Good vibes from start to finish and incredible work. I will report back with the final results. Highly, highly recommend this establishment to anyone in need of great dental work. Nobody likes to go to the dentist but I highly recommend we care dental. It's a wonderful state of the art dentistry. All the people that work there are fabulous! I was lucky enough to get this girl named Nikki who unfortunately is leaving in three weeks so I'll make sure I get all my dental work done. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! The first time I went to We Care Dental I was scheduled for a teeth cleaning in November 2021, instead they took about 2 hours to take X-rays of my mouth and didn't have time to clean my teeth after that. The X-rays had shown that I have multiple cavity's (one being particularly deep) that looked like it might have needed a root canal so we scheduled an appointment for January of 2022. When the day came I went to the office and they had told me they had me scheduled for two fillings (even tho my last appointment in November they said I could possibly need a root canal) but sense it was a possibly I decided to just roll with it and let it happen, WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS it took them 4 try's to actually numb me enough before starting to drill my tooth, then I sat in the chair for close to 3 hours for only 2 fillings, and when I went home the lady who did my fillings DIDNT EVEN LEAVE A GAP IN MY TEETH BIG ENOUGH TO FLOSS so about two days later I chipped my tooth trying to floss which resulted in me having to call for a NEW appointment. About a month later that appointment came and this time I came in a little worried, not only because they didn't leave a gap big enough to floss my teeth but also because they drilled into my tooth multiple times before I was numb enough even tho I made it clear, so when I went for my 2nd appointment I made it clear I needed to be numbed more which they did and had my 2nd filling on the same tooth done. So I'm thinking ok second time is a charm everything is fine but even 2 weeks after my filling my tooth is still in major pain and aches. SO as you all can probably guess we had to call We Care Dental AGAIN only to be informed now I need a root canal I SHOULDVE gotten the first time.... At this point I was pretty angry being that now I have to go for a third appointment for the SAME tooth and I have to live in pain until then just chewing on one side of my mouth for months now. Anyway my THIRD appointment comes now, both me and my mother (I'm 15) make it very clear I need to be numbed more then the average person and the last two times they've had to do that just for a filling. I don't know the name of the man who was leading my 3rd appointment but he seemed REALLY confident and kind of cocky that it wouldn't take more then 2-3 shots to get me fully numb, long story short HE DIDNT I was numb but didn't know I wasn't numb enough the clamp on my tooth was put on and automatically felt everything and begged for them to get it off when they did I then expressed confidentiality BACK that this is why I've told them every time I've come in for an appointment I need to be numbed more and they DID NOT LISTEN. So they decided to give me more shots and numb me more (now for the worst part) at this point this is my THIRD time getting drilled in the same tooth and I've been sitting in the chair for going on 3 hours JUST TO GET NUMB they have not even started the root canal yet..... ONLY FOR THE REAL DOCTOR TO COME IN 20 MINS LATER AND TELL ME THEY WERENT GOING TO PERFORM THE ROOT CANAL THAT DAY (basically because they messed up didn't numb me enough and didn't wanna put me through more I guess) EVEN THO IM ASKING FOR THEM TO JUST FINISH. At that point that was the third time I've been there and I have an actual job (even tho I'm only 15 my dad passed away this January 2022 and I've been working every day trying to pay for gas and help my mom and doing school from home) so with that being said Everytime I have to go back for the same exact tooth to these dumbass people at this dumbass office I have to take the day off of work and miss out on the days worth of hours WHILE THEY CAN GET PAID for completely messing me up for the third time. Anyway at this point I had 0 interest in booking a fourth appointment just so they can mess up again and both me and my mom made that very clear. (Now to put this in perspective this tooth was supposed to be taken care of in JANUARY and I barely got the root canal taken care of in JULY and NOT BY THEM) I did have to pay for the root canal out of pocket but LET ME TELL YOU WAS IT WORTH IT when you have a dentist that ACTUALLY knows what there doing it makes all the difference and I was in and out the chair in less then an hour. Moral of the story you get what you pay for and NEVER EVERRR go to this dentist. read more

I went to see Dr. Chavez because I had an abscessed tooth. I'd seen another dentist elsewhere, who couldn't remove the tooth and was rude to me. Also, about a year ago, I had to have a different tooth pulled and it was a terrifying and awful experience. I was terrified to do this again. But, Dr. Chavez was unbelievably kind and caring! He took great measures to ensure I was very comfortable every step of the way. All the staff were very kind and took such great care of me. He removed my tooth and it didn't hurt at all! Not even after the numbness wore off! I can't begin to express my gratitude to all these wonderful people! I was treated with such kindness, understanding and respect. I now have a permanent dentist and have no fears returning for future treatment with Dr. Chavez! read more

We recently changed dentist to We Care Dental. We were a bit anxious after having experienced being relatively good and bad dentist in the past....so it can be a hit and miss. Well....talk about We Care Dental being a BIG HIT!! The dental practice is lead by Dr. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz is the most compassionate, through and knowledgeable dentist we ever had. Her team reflects her leader from the front dest where you are greeted by Lupe who always greets you with a warm, friendly smile. The office team is professional and regularly checks in on you throughout the procedures to ensure your confort. The office manager works graciously to make payment plans and the place is clean and confortable. They strive with every visit to make if better with their follow up surveys and have plenty of parking in a beautiful location. This dental office is associated with a dental school university so the standard of care is the most up to date. Hi I had recently visited this "establishment" and I will NEVER go back. I went in the get my wisdom teeth removed and the girl in the office was extremely rude and gave me attitude when I asked what I needed to be seen today. She gave me a form to fill out and walked off. After I had filled out the form I waited and waited and waited for 20 minutes for her to come back and I asked her again what I would need. With more attitude she said "I'm the only one here you'll have to wait" I had made an appointment and still was going to be a 2 hour wait??? No thanks. This was the worst dentist office I have ever been to. Don't go here!!! Go somewhere that actually treats their customers right!!! She should be fired!! read more

I was so please to find a Dentist offfice where more concern is on the patient and not trying to overcharge patient for work that not needed. The staff was warm and friend and I felt quiet relax . I had a great experience, even with having to go back a couple of times to have some adjustments made to a crown.
