The owners would not honor the $29 paid, even though the Groupon specifically states that the value is valid. The owner, Joyce was mean, demeaning and argued that, "she doesn't make money on the Groupon, so therefore she's not going to accept the value." They are not good people. PROS: - 3 large indoor play areas for small, medium, and large sized dogs - an indoor grassy area (that's changed daily, I believe) where dogs can pee and poo - private 'suites' available for overnight stays - friendly and competent staff that genuinely seems to love dogs - feeding times are based on a dog's normal eating time - since everything's indoors you don't have to worry about dogs getting overheated during the summer CONS: - It's the most expensive boarding facility I've used. Sometimes I spend more boarding my dogs than I do for my own vacation. My dalmatian isn't always the friendliest dog, but she still loves coming here and socializes with the other dogs. Both of my dogs get plenty of exercise and are always exhausted from running around all day. They're located in an industrial park just east of the airport. They used to have another location that was easier for me to get to on Rainbow and Sahara, but that location closed down about a year ago.

I noticed that he had gotten thin and was not his usually self. On Sept. 5th I had to take him to the vet. He weighed 13 lbs (on 8/6/25 he was at vet and he weighed 14.8 lbs which was always his normal weight give a few ounces). He also had fever of 103, and bloody soft stool and very lethargic. The next day I called kennel and told them what happened, I was told the owner would get back to me. No call from the owner, so I called again the next day. Same response. On Monday. 9/8 I called the previous owner, he told me that he would have the new owner contact me. The new owner Mckelle gave me a call that night. She told me after 2 hours they pick up the wet food (cans). Whether its eaten or not. My dog has always been a grazer (he eats when he wants too). Mckelle also told me that she would call me back the next day after checking the feeding logs. I never got another call. Basically they starved my poor boy and the damage to his system was irreversible. I had to put him to sleep on 9/9/25. My beautiful boy is gone because of them!!!! Avoid this place!!!!

The professionalism from Pets R Family was evident right away. Before the first time Scott sat for us he came over to get all of the information he'd need to care for our pet and home. He asked about our vet, emergency contact numbers, water preference, foods, etc. For our home he asked about things like the trash schedule and mailbox location. I know many people like boarding their pets, but I love the convenience of having my pet cared for in our home where he feels safe and comfortable. I love that I don't have to drop off and pickup, especially for early morning departures and late returns. In the past boarding meant parting with my pet the night before a trip. Now I just leave for my trip knowing my pet will be checked on. So easy! Scheduling sitting is so easy. We had the initial meeting years ago and now I just text Scott the dates we need him. He has always been available and has never left me scrambling to find another option. When I'm away I get occasional texts letting me know that all is well. When I was nearing my due date with my daughter I asked Scott to be "on call" and he was happy to do so. So when it was time to head to the hospital all I had to do was text Scott. Both Mike & Marcia are retired professionals who truly love animals. We watched as they interacted with our animals, my super shy pup even came out to meet them. When they left our home, my Husband and I felt super comfortable, we signed the paperwork and secured the dates for our trip. We scheduled Paw Minders twice daily (Morning & Evening). Consistently prompt, including a 30 minute minimum with each visit. Mike & Marcia thoroughly cared for our animals & our home with love. (2 dogs, 2 cats & large fish tank). Daily updates and pictures of everyone! :) Mike & Marcia will do things "your way" just ask, they never miss a beat!
