Oh they up and COOKN today! We Cookn partnered with an apartment complex in Mira Mesa, and boy was I glad to have the opportunity to order from them. The staff and chef were welcoming and answered any questions or customizations we had. Everything was labeled on their menu with clear prices, a clean grill, fryer and very organized set up. I was so happy to see they had po boys AND a chopped cheese on their menu! They had a smaller menu on the table with pictures of items, as well as an live example of what their mac & cheese looked like. Food wise- we got a philly cheesesteak, mac & cheese, buffalo chicken fries, and a steak sandwich. The wait wasn't that long, and it was definitely worth the try.

During my visit, service was excellent. They have a photo opportunity backdrop inside, and our server kindly offered to take several pictures of us with my phone for our happy hour gathering. Our food and cocktails were good. I ate a bowl of delicious clam chowder. I wish there were more clams than potatoes, but the taste was very good. You could also get it in a sourdough bowl! My friends ordered the calamari and the shrimp. They were both satisfied with their choices. There is full bar. We drank margaritas. The decor is lovely with decorative surf boards and other nautical items placed throughout.

I've been here many times and the food is consistently excellent. The seafood is fresh, portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. My favorites are the fish and chips and the ceviche. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, dinner, or bringing friends from out of town, Seven Seas is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Vista. I love supporting local businesses, and Seven Seas is exactly the kind of family-owned restaurant that makes the Vista Village area special. Highly recommend for anyone searching for seafood in Vista, restaurants in Downtown Vista, or a great local dining experience in North County San Diego.

The person who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. She advised they give a complimentary slice of their cheesecake for the birthday celebrant but didn't sell whole cakes. She informed me about the 85 Degree bakery and Stater Brothers next door. They will gladly store the cake. The menu was a little difficult to understand but once our waiter , sorry I forgot his name explained the combos vs AlaCarte and how much would feed a party of 5 We explained one person ate like a bird 2 of us were starving and 2 were medium hungry. He asked us what we wanted in terms of seafood. We all wanted crab one person didn't want shrimp etc etc. he advised us to start with 3 (bags) boil combos all with crab ,comboed with other seafood to make it a variation. Plus add an extra portion of crab. Well it was perfect. We did 3 different spice variations and shared The table is lined with plastic. A roll of paper towels. Plus the tools. Cracker and extractor. And gloves. Omg we had a blast eating the delicious food. Everything was fresh and just scrumptious. We had one bag with the garlic and old bay. Mild (I love heat but read mild had a kick. ). Which is did but was overall a mild kick. I was slurping the juice out of the clam shells it was so gosh darn good. Our waiter and the rest of the staff checked on us. Refilled our tea and water. We made a pretty good mess of things. Best part is we didn't have to clean up. Our waiter was so thoughtful, when it was time to have cake and open presents he invited us to use a clean table. He brought us plates and forks for the cake too. The restaurant space is kinda different. You walk into the restaurant and you're in a pretty large foyer You move through it to a gigantic dinning area with dozens of tables and booths. It has a huge high ceiling and appears more like a banquet size area. There were several other diners but because of the size of the restaurant it didn't feel crowded. We were trying to figure out what the space was used prior to Crab Pub. It has an Asian twist decor (marble deco columns) but decorated with fishing type props and decorations. It looks like service stations encircled the outer edge of the restaurant. Thinking it was a buffet place in the past. We loved the playlist music Thinking it was club like 80's 'maybe 70's original hits. Thankfully , No piped in cover instrumentals. So it was extra fun to get down and dirty eating and listening to great music. Bathrooms were clean All n all it was reasonably priced (we did Snow Crab as opposed to the King Crab that was pricier ). Recommend for families , and friend groups. Unsure if first date would be good as you have to get into the boil bag and it'll get messy. I hope to come back soon to try more combo seafood and different spice offerings

My go-to sauce is Pub Style Medium it has the perfect balance of flavor and spice without being overly hot. I usually get the sauce on the side because sometimes it has chunks of garlic, which isn't my favorite, but the flavor is so good that it's still my top choice every time. The oysters were amazing! My mom loves oysters, and they did not disappoint fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. We also tried the gumbo, and it was incredible rich, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the seafood. The fried shrimp was a little overcooked, and the oil tasted slightly old, but it was still good and definitely not enough to take away from the overall experience. The portions are generous, the seafood is always satisfying, and the quality keeps me coming back. It's become one of my favorite spots whenever I'm craving seafood, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

They have the best molcajete and fajitas around, at the best prices. We are here just to see if Cocina Del Mar is better. Long story short: it's not. However, their ceviche is AMAZING. Best ceviche I have had in north county San Diego outside of Dija Mara (which has the best ceviche in the known universe). It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). I would absolutely come back for the ceviche and to give them another shot by trying a different dish. I snapped pics of the menu so you can see the latest prices. Check it out.

They had a seriously impressive list of non-alcoholic options, which I loved. I went with the Yuzu berry spritz, served in a wine glass, I cannot tell you how many women poked in and asked what I was drinking because it was so pretty! Also it was $11, now that's the price to pay for a mocktail. I went to another bar and they charged me $22 for a non-alcoholic soda drink, get out of here with that. Their menu looked divine, so many delicious options and they had healthy choices which I so appreciated! I got the kale and quinoa salad with grilled chicken and it was ready in about 15. I will say the salad was delicious BUT when I got home to eat it, there was no dressing and no silverware, they had forgotten both. I ended up using hummus that I had in the fridge, luckily, however had I not had that the salad would have been tough to enjoy.
