Horrible customer service. We waited over 10 minutes at the window while staff were clearly there, but no one acknowledged us at all. We were the only customers no line, no crowd yet still completely ignored. Not even a simple greeting. After standing outside the truck for that long with no response, we decided to leave without ordering. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to try the food, so I can't speak on its quality. However, the pricing is on the higher end pricing. As for the atmosphere, parking is very tight and the setup is outdoors, which made the wait even more uncomfortable. Randomly saw this place on chance and wanted to try. Don't see a lot of seafood looking trucks so had to check it out. Got fish tacos and they were pretty solid. Some of the best breading I've had on a fried fish tacos and all the flavors were there. My only fault would be the fish to tortilla ratio, in which the amount of fish we got was really inconsistent from taco to taco. IMO, very important when it comes to tacos. Service was fine. Mariscos La Perla de Michoacán 2927 E Vista Way, Vista, CA This spot really surprised us. Everything was delicious and felt super homemade. Melchor was super kind and attentive from the start. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. The consomé was honestly one of the best I've had. Full of flavor, not watered down like at some other places. The taco gobernador is a must. Shrimp, bell peppers, onions, cheese. Everything grilled perfectly and packed with flavor. We also got the ceviche tostada, and the portion was really generous. It came loaded with shrimp, cucumber, tomato, onion, cilantro, and thick avocado slices on top. They even drizzle that dark salsa, maybe salsa negra, that gives it a little kick. So good. Tried the tacos de camarón enchilado too. The chile had a nice spice, not too much, and tasted like something made at home. Out of all the mariscos places I've tried around here, this one really has that authentic sazón. Definitely coming back. read more

This is one of those spots that I don't really want to drop a 5 star review on because its so good and such a hidden gem. One of those spots you just want to keep for yourself so there is not a crazy line when you go back. Well its also one of those places that you just have to share with your fellow yelpers like a good elite should. Wow talk about fresh ! I went on Taco Tuesday and the fish tacos are only $2 bucks, this is a great value, very large size. The service was friendly and the wait was not long at all. Super low pro spot! Super bomb! Fried Fish tacos were perfect. Asada taco was huge, I made two out of it. But the Shrimp Tostada was show stopper! Absolutely fantastic seafood in an unexpected location. My octopus tostada was HUGE. It tasted perfectly fresh and well seasoned. Definitely one of the best tostadas I've had. The prices are very fair for the size and quality. My guy loved his fish burrito. We're planning to come back for taco Tuesday, and to try their aguachile and other tostadas. We asked their hours and they said they open around 10am, and stay open until sometime in the evening, depending on how busy they are. We went around 8 pm on a Sunday and they were open. read more

This place is beyond amazing!!!! It's better than any seafood restaurant I've ever been. I grew up eating the best seafood on the streets of Ensenada and this place tastes like home. The owners are so nice and proud of what they do, as they should be. We got a free cup of shrimp soup while we waited for our food, yum!
