Los Cabos has quickly become one of those places I keep coming back to! I'm slowly making my way through the menu and trying something different whenever I can, and so far they haven't disappointed. Lately, the chicken caldo, carne asada nachos, and fish taco plate have all hit the spot. My top two favorites are definitely the chicken caldo and fish tacos! I would have a photo of the chicken caldo but that's the first thing to go. The food is also really affordable, especially for the portions and quality. Another HUGE plus is that they're open late. Recently, my family was sick and I wanted to get them something warm and comforting. Los Cabos was still open, so I was able to run over and grab some chicken caldo for everyone. They absolutely loved it, and it was exactly what they needed that night. The atmosphere is always lively with music playing, and the people here are genuinely friendly and welcoming. If you come often enough, they actually remember you, which makes every visit feel a little more personal and special. One heads-up for first-timers: pay attention when parking! The parking situation can be a little tricky, and if you're not careful, you can accidentally end up parking in the Trade Craft parking lot instead. Just double-check which lot you're parking before heading inside. Affordable food, late hours, great music, friendly service, and consistently good food--there's a reason we keep coming back. Went in today to try their seafood boil after seeing all the craze on tiktok. I was super excited and not disappointed. The food was good for the pricing, i added a side of snow crab and a drink. The total was about $34. The sausage had a great taste but was a little dry, almost as if it was added to the boil after and not cooked in it. The shrimp was slightly overcooked a lil mushy, but other than that not bad. The snow crab was really good and had a great amount of meat. For a new item on their menu it was worth it, could use some work over time but not bad for the pricing. (This is my review on the food and not on the restaurant/other items as a whole. The food was soooooo delicious. My go to has always been the aqua chiles , they're always made fresh , delicious, and the portions are always enough to keep you satisfied. This time I ordered the Molcajete Del Mar which has fried shrimp , seared shrimp, cooked shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp, octopus, and fried fish . It was flavorful, fresh , hot , and it came with a side of salad,rice, and beans . It also came with house made tortillas which were soft and delicious. Horrible service today on Mother's Day. I called at 11:30AM to reserve a spot at 4:30pm because we had a large group. Woman on the phone confirmed 10 people, no problem. We came in before that time and the front older lady said she didn't have our name down and asked if I was sure I called the right place. I showed her the call and she said oh well we can sit you outside. There is no way to group tables outside and once we saw a table open up inside we asked if we can sit there and the younger boy said yes of course. The table is not even cleared off yet by the boy & one person sits there. Older lady does nothing to remedy the fact she didn't write down our reservation, offers no apology and doesn't tell the person we had already been waiting. She says that lady sat there first okay but I actually made a reservation so instead we took our business somewhere else. After reading the other reviews about the poor quality food I'm glad we didn't eat here. read more

This place is soooo good if you're looking for fresh Mexican seafood. The mariscada mixta was fresh, delicious, and so filling. The oysters were big and they have the tastiest homemade sauce to go along with them. The service was excellent, the girl was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Absolutely fantastic. Coming back to Cali my first stop is always a place in Oxnard (taqueria tapatio on 5th) but I flew into San Diego this time. I searched yelp for a place while my sister drove me to her place in Vista. I TOTALLY PICKED THE RIGHT PLACE! The tacos were amazing. The asada and pollo was so good, great flavor. The salsa options are all good....the creamy green is hot! I loved it. Great service. Smelled great the second I walked in; the menu pictures told me I found the spot #iykyk I was looking at what everyone else was eating and it looked so good. Let me tell you. This is some of the best Mexican food I have had in the vista area! The food, the service, cutely decorated and makes you feel at home. I also love that this is a family owned business and I always love to support family owned. This family works hard to provide good quality Mexican food made with love like your own abuelita would make for you! Great prices too! My family and I come at least once or twice every other month and they always have such kind/friendly customer service. They give us all their attention and make sure our meals are correct and bring us extra sauces or anything we ask for. Very clean restrooms as well which is always nice. Anthony was our server today and he was seriously so sweet and attentive and mannered. He brought my Fiance like 4 different sauces to try out which he recommended to pair with our meals. I think this is it second or third time her me, but my first time getting street tacos. The place is easy to get to, just annoyed that I have to make U-turn to go back up the street, but it's fine. They're located across the ninety nine cent store. (I couldn't find the cent sign on my phone ) I ordered 5 pollo asada, 4 Adovada, & 3 carne asada street tacos. I also ordered 4oz guacamole since I don't have time to get listeria from grocery store avocados. Lol. They have a deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays that tacos are $0.99!!! I didn't really have to wait in line. I was surprised they had adovada (sp?) since I've only seen that at TJ Tacos. The guy who took my order was very nice and stylish! He told me where the salsa bar was and said I could help myself. They had a nice array of goodies there. I saw pickled red onions I think, hot carrots, jalapeños, green & red salsa. I took a seat to wait for my order & I wasn't there long. Less than 15 mins I spent there & the food was fresh. My order was to go & I made 2 more stops after getting this, but once home, the tacos were still warm and oh so tasty. I was looking for a new Mexican seafood place so I googled best seafood in North county and Los Cabos popped up with some pretty good stars. I have passed by this small hole in the wall restaurant many times in the years I've lived in North county and I never have eaten here. But that all changed, granted the place is nothing fancy however the shrimp cocktail and their shrimps ceviche is to die for. My wife said that she has never had a shrimp cocktail as good as the one she has gotten here. It was packed with shrimp which is great because a lot of other places in the area do not pack their shrimp cocktails with shrimp. Additionally my ceviche was delicious, all the tostadas are hot and fresh because they make them in house. The lady who took our order was very nice, attentive, and had a really good personality. If you want some good seafood I suggest you come check this place out because I believe that's their specialty. read more

This is me and my brothers favorite spot in vista. I try come any time I get the chance and I just love em so much!! I always get the tacos which are amazing and I'll experiment with random things on the menu and I've never been disappointed. The salsa is a huge bonus and it's a breath of fresh air finally having a salsa bar that tastes fresh and homemade. On top of all that the service is always super solid. I believe the young woman's name who always helps me is Elizabeth and she is always so sweet and helpful. She cruises around the restaurant and checks on the guests to make sure they're enjoying everything and she will grab whatever you may need, it may be a restaraunt where you order at the front, but Elizabeth is 100% a waitress, and a good one!
