Garret and Carmen catered my wife's retirement party and hands down everyone raved about the food. Communication leading up to the event was great. He provided several levels of menu options. And the day of he arrived on time and was all wrapped up shortly after the event concluded. Since the party when we run into people who were there they cannot stop complimenting how good the food was.

Our community has a food truck Friday event, the last Friday of the month for summer, and we needed someone to come. I yelped food truck and called a couple before coming to Dripping Kitchen. Garrett the owner picked up and was so friendly and willing to come out to our event. His minimum wasn't bad either. Although the event wasn't as big as the previous food truck events, I spoke with some of our neighbors and they loved the food. We tried some too. I got their drippin Mac, dripping birria sandwich and a jalapeño chipotle chicken sandwich. The jalapeño chipotle chicken sandwich was so good! Highly recommend!! The Mac and cheese had good flavors. Good for the little one. Birria was good, a bit greasy but good flavors. The food is definitely cheat day food!!! Lol. We also drank a strawberry lemonade which was refreshing. Garrett told us he also had an ice cream food truck. Hopefully at one of our next events we'll use both services. We'll definitely save his contact to our favorite vendors list. Thanks for coming out to our community!

So good! Just visited the truck tonight at Vistas Food Truck night. Service: cashier was nice, ordered quickly & waited for food. It took about 20 minutes for food but it was worth it!! Ordered: Classic Drizzle grilled cheese & macaroni & cheese plates. Seating: parking lot seating, had a handful of tables that were clean with trash cans located throughout. It was a nice event, clean & truck offered the napkins & forks needed. Both food options were super cheesy & flavorful! I loved the Mac & cheese, had lots of flavor and was filling. It is a heavier Mac & cheese but I didn't mind. Looking forward to catching them again & trying the other options. My girls loved both!

"Home of the Famous Mac Daddy Sandwich". This Vista-based food truck offers handcrafted Mac'n'cheese, hot ("killer"), breakfast, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, salad, and "sides". I tried and liked their Lobster Mac. Also very popular was the Truffle Butter Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Dairy and/or gluten free options are also available if/when requested (in advance?). The truck doesn't have a fixed regular location and mainly caters events (booked in advance).

This food truck is a must try!!!! This is some of the best grilled cheese I've ever had. I got the Drippin' Birria and it was to die for! The proportions were perfect and it wasn't too much or too little of anything. Also, the owner is one of the kindest people and makes the vibes 10 times better!!! Run, don't walk, to the Drippin' Kitchen!

Tried them for the first time recently. We ordered the Lobster Mac and the Baconator grilled cheese ($30 for both). The sammich was very good. I do wish there was some kind of "sauce" to dip the sammich into - maybe like a tomato bisque or something along those lines. The lobster mac however was very dry as though it's been sitting in a hot pan for too long. If it was creamy this would be a home run as they do put a lot of lobster into the mix, but even with a beer it was tough to wash down. Anxious to try the birria sammich but again if there is no consomé or broth to dip it into I feel it might be a tad too dry.

We got the vanilla soft serve along with the bag of churros, which contains three of them. They came out piping hot and fresh, covered and that delicious cinnamon sugar. They were excellent and paired with the ice cream, it was a nice treat. The ice cream had a good texture but did taste a bit artificial, but i definitely still enjoyed it. I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.

Really? Or even more depending where you go. Frankly I don't know how anyone can afford it any longer but that's a different story. The new owners still don't even seem to know what they are doing after I would say 3yrs now, maybe even more since taking over this place. I used to love going here, now I go maybe once every 3 months if even that and I know why. The service is not the same, the owners are clueless and the food doesn't taste the same at all. The atmosphere of feeling like you are at home when most everyone but mostly the owner remembered you, would come talk to you, helped you and knew what she was taking about, is all gone. I was there yesterday for one of my favorite sandwiches, meatball sandwich. I like that the meatballs are small, not a size of a baseball or even larger, just perfect size, tasty etc. I go up to the register and instead of his clueless wife when you ask her a question and she looks at you as if you're from another planet then has to go and ask one of her employees which that in itself looks totally bad, this time was her husband who looks to me for now the 4th time through the year I visited, that should just stick to staying in the gym since he looks like someone that takes care of himself that way, quite fit, and although nothing at all with that, perhaps leave the deli part of it to someone else and go back to working out instead, it seems his forte. When I told him the sandwich I wanted, he clearly said to me "what would you like with the sandwich" a question I was never asked before because it simply came with a small bag of chips or pasta salad, so I asked what did the sandwich come with, "it comes" the word that he used "it comes with", not "extra charge" and he mentioned French fries, bag of chips while he pointed where the chips were, pasta salad. I said, "I'll try the French fries". Not ONE TIME he said to me that none of the items he mentioned to me were extra charge, I even told him, "oh they come with all that you just told me"? He said yes. When I paid the total came to $24 dollars, the sandwich itself was $13.65 and a coke that I ordered was $3, how did it get to $24? Well, the French fries were extra cost. Had I chosen a bag of chips, the once he pointed at were also extra charge just like if I ordered pasta salad, I found out about the extra charge from the lady that brought me the sandwich and I asked why my bill was $24 dollars, SHE, not the owner told me about the extra charges. After I said to her, "why didn't or doesn't the owner tell you so instead of saying that these extras come with the sandwich" she looked at me and said "I don't know". She didn't even know however any of the prices of the sandwich they sell. These are the new employees now. I know you are going to think why I didn't ask right away why my bill was $24 dollars. I didn't even think about it immediately, I was hungry at this point, the place was quite busy and I wanted to find a place to sit, no excuse, but didn't think about it right away. Not until I set down and then started thinking about why my bill was higher. That was my fault. I should have immediately asked and actually I should have gone to the owner afterwards and mentioned to him that he should tell the customers correctly, meaning do NOT SAY "IT COMES WITH" that means IS NOT EXTRA CHARGE. He needs to say that wherever we want with it, there is an extra, then up to the customer if he/she wants it or not. The sandwich did not taste like the way it used to taste, meatballs still small but they were very salty, and the fries although I will say cooked pretty nice, crispy and all, a very small portion and also very salty. Overall and sadly for me because I truly liked this place a lot with the previous owner, it's not a place I would go back to. The prices are as high and now higher than any other place nowadays, nothing spectacular, their bakery department is now very limited, used to be huge and very nice selections, they used to have a pastry chef in the back that made the best deserts, and I don't know if they also changed cook, but nothing tastes the same. The place is always very busy, so I am sure I won't be missed, I won't waste my money here again. The new owners should by now know what they sell, know how to interact with customers better, know the job they took over. The owners before were absolutely wonderful and great to talk to, they would interact with you ask you if everything was ok, great service from the staff. I miss them and the new owners really need to step up, it's time. The place also very dirty on floors, tables, trash cans totally disgusting and filthy.

To my surprise Water Shack's burgers were delicious and satisfying that I find myself coming back here ever so often. Their burgers aren't the heavy, greasy/high fat patties you would get from other places. However, their 1/4 lb patties are their smallest patties and heft makes for that ideal bun to burger ratio. Did I need to order double patties on most of my burger orders? Probably not. Their patties are on the leaner side but they aren't dry; and the fixings from any burger you choose will satisfy that meaty burger fix you're looking for.
