I'm really glad me and my friends did this activity I couldn't believe that I actually did all the things I did even tho I don't know how to swim haha. Our tour guide I forgot his name (sorry) was so nice and even swam with us. I felt so comfortable swimming with my lifevest and even diving on the cliff and snorkling. I felt super brave lol. everyone in my party are very happy. I will remember this forever thank you so much.

These guys are great. My family and I had such a good time. We even caught some waves. You meet them out 'on the beach' right straight out from the channel, not where any of the 6 person outrigger 'Club' canoes are grouped. This is a 4 person outrigger with their experienced guide steering as the 4th person. So the fourth person in your group rides on a trampoline like tarp across the outrigger arms. We just took turns to give people a rest from paddling. You go out to a beautiful island about a mile out and walk around the island a bit before paddling back. Very low key and fun. They even made a video of the outing which is part of the cost. We plan on doing it again next time we return. BTW, they have 'dry bags' on board for all your phones and personal stuff you want to keep dry.

I went on this Outrigger Canoe adventure for my 30th birthday and it was awesome! We paddled around the islands and went to a small Lagoon on the backside of one of the Mokulua islands. They were so nice! They catered to what we wanted. I wanted to surf waves and even though that there wasn't very many waves, we still was able to paddle into some. They brought drinks and snacks which was nice after the paddle and swimming. It was such a fun adventure and I'm looking forward to the next time!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Oahu and the perfect activity for our family of five! The owner, Simeon, also works as a lifeguard and is friendly and knowledgeable about the Polynesian culture. Our three teenagers paddled the canoe with Simeon while my husband and I kicked back on the side tarps ~ that's the best kind of vacation! He took us out to a small island, Mokulua, where we saw monk seals, hiked on the rocks and explored expansive tide pools. There was a place where the water collected behind some rocks called "Queen's Bath" and the kids jumped in for a swim. The island was lots of fun to explore and Simeon brought snacks and water. On the way back, he showed us how to catch the waves and canoe-surf. We had an amazing time!!! Highly recommend outrigger canoeing if you're looking for something extraordinary to do and want a taste of local culture.

One our favorite excursions of the trip! The waves were big and surfing them in the canoe was amazing! Simeon was full of knowledge and very nice. Beautiful place to visit!

Simeon was great and made us feel safe

He was hilarious, full of fascinating stories, and somehow managed to make every bathroom stop feel like part of the adventure. The views were jaw-dropping: Diamond Head glowing in the morning sun, waves crashing at Halona Blowhole, and those movie-perfect cliffs near Kualoa Ranch. Dirk kept us entertained between stops with island legends, trivia, and a soundtrack that could make even a restroom break feel cinematic. Leonard's malasadas? Heavenly. Macadamia nut farm snacks? Dangerous in the best way. Tanaka's garlic shrimp? Worth every bite and every burp. Turtle Beach was the crown jewel--relaxing, peaceful, and filled with lazy sea turtles living their best lives. Dirk's timing was perfect, his humor was infectious, and his love for the island made every mile memorable. I laughed, I learned, I ate too much, and I never once regretted it. If you want a full day of Oahu beauty, good vibes, and an expert guide who'll keep you smiling and on schedule, this is the tour. Mahalo, Dirk, you're the real MVP of island adventures!

If you are traveling anywhere in the Hawaiian islands and want a trusted source to help you plan…read moresomething really nice, look no further. My head was spinning trying to plan something for our diverse group of young and old, and within 30 minutes Paula had our flights, cars, and accommodations booked. With her extensive knowledge base, she can do in 15 minutes what would have taken me weeks. She thinks of and handles all the details and is worth her weight in gold. Give this company a call if you're traveling to one of the islands. you'll be happy you did!

We worked with Travel to Paradise to plan our Honeymoon in Hawaii, and our planner was Meg. I infer…read morethat Meg runs the business. Initially Meg was very responsive, but it took quite some time, about a month, to get an itinerary from her, and that still required us to follow up several times. We had given her a week when we wanted to travel and specified that we were happy to leave a few days before or return a few days after that week, but the itinerary she gave was just for that week. Because of that, one of the resorts where we wanted to stay wasn't available, because it was booked that week and she didn't look at any dates before or after. She did provide us with options for resorts for the other part of our trip, which was helpful. Ultimately, I did the research on my own to find flights and an itinerary that allowed us to stay in the resort we wanted for part of the time, as well as one that she recommended for the other part. Meg was able to find us a slightly better option for flights, so ultimately we decided to continue working with Meg for the booking. Once we arrived, we had an incredible time. I give Meg credit for recommending the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki, because we really did enjoy it there and we got a great room. Our second resort, Aulani, was the one where I had found the availability. It was amazing, but again, that's the one we found on our own. On our last day, we learned that our flight was cancelled. I absolutely do not fault Meg for that. However, given that Meg had booked our flights, I was hoping she could try to help us find an alternative to get home. I called Meg on two different numbers and texted her, and I still have not heard back. I spent over two hours on my last day of my honeymoon arranging for an alternative flight, and Meg couldn't even respond with a text or call. I understand that she may not have been able to do anything different for our flight, but at the very least a returned phone call would have been appreciated. I was extremely disappointed. Ultimately, I really feel as though I could have put together a pretty similar trip without Meg. I wish we could recommend Travel to Paradise more, because Meg does seem like a genuinely nice person, but we were pretty disappointed with her overall.

Even though we have done this excursion many times, there's always a twist. On our latest adventure, we got to see five monk seals, with two of them playing in the ocean like little puppies. We had a good group and had time to do extra things on this trip. Our guide, Tupre, made it a fun and interesting tour, throwing in historical and additional wildlife information. This experience solidified our decision to book Kailua Beach Adventures on our next trip to Oahu.

It's located across the street from Kailua Beach Park. You have to cart your own kayak from the rental shop to the beach shore where you'll meet your guide. We were in a group of six and one guide. They have single and double kayaks. The guided tour provides life vests, dry bags, snorkels, water bottles, and lunch. The trip to the island took us approximately 1.5 hours maybe a bit more to Kayak the 2.3 miles due to strong head winds. It was faster on the return trip. We even had time to stop on flat island. This is one of my favorite activities to do while on Oahu. I love the scenic views heading to the "Mokes" and I love the views looking toward Oahu while out on the water. It's such a magical kayaking adventure. The island is a bird sanctuary and if you go at the right time you'll see nesting birds and if you are lucky, you'll see the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. We saw three (maybe four, not sure if one was the same one that swam to a different spot) on Moku Nui and one on Popoi'a Island sandbar. If you are adventurous and have the stamina and strength to kayak, I highly recommend this tour for you! Our guide Two-pre was the best!!! He told us that the tour we were on was his 400th!!
