From start to finish... competent, trustworthy, timely, patient, economically (beyond) fair... Basically PERFECTION in the HVAC arena, and Brad (the owner) at its helm. Called the original company... they came out and said the coil broke and the cost to repair would be $4,700... I am naturally a trusting person... but something seemed entirely wrong! I was told... only call Brad's company... which I promptly did. First off, Home Furnace Company gives you an appointment time... 10am is 10am... not a window of 5 hours! Brad came out, assessed the issue, fixed it on the spot (needed coolant) the total cost was $435!!! The other company was greater than 10X!!! The tech they sent over popped his head into the basement and announced 'needs replacing.' He spent no more than five minutes on the property. Never received a detailed estimate, despite calling and asking several times, just a bill for well over $100. When I called to complain I was treated in an incredibly nasty way by their receptionist. She threatened legal action against me if we didn't pay up immediately. When I negatively reviewed them on google the owner responded back that this was a fake review and to ignore it. No accountability, just bilking us out of our hard-earned money for nothing, IN MY OPINION (I have to say this because, according to at least one other negative review posted online, they threaten to bring suit against unhappy customers who report poor service) . I hope they've taken these criticisms into account and behave more professionally and considerately these days. Just can't forget the awful treatment. Caveat emptor.

Responded promptly to my initial contact, through multiple visits and calls (I am an engineer) worked with me (lots of knowledgeable suggestions and recommendations but never pushing anything on me) to come up with the system best for my needs. Ended up at the low end of four bids from HVAC contractors. Complete replacement of old HVAC system with state of the art heat pump system, removed all of the old duct work and installed the new system with meticulous attention to detail, making sure everything was just right. At the end of the week, a bit sad to see him go. That's when you know you have the right person looking out for you. We had A+ install an air condtioner whilst a solar system was being installed on our roof. I…read moreexplained to the operation manager of A+Refrigeration that the solar system would be going to inspection, but he had his crew install the condenser and piping in such a way that the solar company would not be able to have their system pass inspection. I asked the A+ operations manager to correct his installation but he would not respond. I has to find another refrigeration company to correct A+'s mistakes at my expense. Also the A+ crew was rushed and poorly supervised, leaving caulk on our patio.
